Although they had the product we were looking for, the transaction was very sketchy. We spent $106, and were told they had to round up the transaction to $110 plus a $3 credit card fee for a total of $113. He also indicated it would only take debit cards. He gave us the $4 change, and there was a tip jar on the counter, so we're assuming the "rounding up" was so we would have cash to put in the jar! I walked into this establishment on April 8 to purchase some CBD oil. This was my first visit. I got an odd feeling as I entered, and unfortunately it went downhill from there. The lady behind the window wasn't friendly. She said "you look uncomfortable" and immediately started questioning me. Have you been here before, do you know what we are. This dispensary has an employee named Derek who the owner s allow to do literally whatever he wants. I was a regular customer for 18 months until The little prince started getting paranoid saying I go around him for price breaks (as if a counter boy has authority to do that. The owners gave me the price breaks. In the first incident one of the owners have me a nice price break on capsules containing only the curative ingredients of Cannabis. It was restoring my health so I bought large quantities. Derek did all he possibly could to prevent me from getting those price breaks on medicinal cannabis. He charged me more once then tried doing it again 2 wks later. His excuse was the owner didn't call him about the price break. I asked if he had called to check. He said no. He finally calls and it is just as I said. This kids ego is outlandish! He cares more about being in control of setting his own prices than he is in genuinely helping a patient. He's proven that twice! Everyone thinks Derek is the nicest kid around. Well so did I until he turned on me because I upset his fragile ego. I complained numerous times to the owner s about: Him being constantly late to open and late coming back from lunch. It's still happening. I complained to the owners and all I get is, "He's just looking out for us." RU kidding? Or most often no verbal response at all just a deer in headlights glaze. True to form, one of the owners shows up at my door, oblivious to my message 2 months prior dumping them as my dispensary, with a notice banning me from the place because I yelled at him and the second time I called him outside. (He was laughing about it like my health was a joke to him.) This after I already told them I was not going to frequent their business anymore. They listen real good. Like talking to the WALL! ps. Thanks Derek! I'm getting cannabis at half the cost of the supposedly low low prices you charge. What a joke! Derek seems nice enough and helpful. Except when the owners give a customer a price break for being a good customer. I spents a few thousand dollars there so Gina offered me a discount on CBD capsules. When I went there and Derek was working he refused to honor the discount Gina gave me so the first time I had to pay full price. Next time he kept stalling me saying Gina hadn't notified him yet. I asked him to call her which he didn't want to do until I insisted. He begrudgingly gave me the discount and accused me of trying to go around him as if he was the boss. He continued this attitude for 6 months. I talked to the owners who just ignored my complaints. I was eventually banned when I'd finally had enough and snapped out on him.A very dysfunctional dynamic exists there. read more
