Really loved this place until I went in and the guy got kind of aggressive about something we disagreed on. Then we went to pay, he took the money and dropped his hand behind the register to count and came up and said that we were $50 short. I know I wasn't because I double count because of dyslexia and because my boyfriend had just handed me two fifties and there was no other fifties in my wallet were I had directly put it in the care before walking in. The dude clearly took it. Just after checking us out he said he was going to go get lunch. I am sure he enjoyed that free meal and a couple others with our money. Wow, what a treat The Green Joint is. I've been to many dispensaries but this is hands down my favorite in the state. Jarrod was the absolutely best budtender I've had. He knew his stuff so well and helped us pick out some awesome joints. Their selection of edibles is extensive and all their bud is fresh and potent. Also their prices are spot on! Way too overpriced for the quality. I dont know why anyone shops anywhere other than Denver. Asked the budtender for their hardest indica. He suggested Giesel looked it up after i left, it is a 50/50 hybrid. Furthermore i was with a veteran who was told he would recieve a discount several times over and did not. Very friendly, good at remembering faces (of course I'm a regular but still). They seem to know they're product pretty damn well, good strains and good size prerolls. This was my first dispensary visit during my vacation to Colorado. My first dispensary ever, actually. I've visited plenty more since, but this one will always stand out. I'm very pleased with the atmosphere, it was very clean with a pleasant cannabis smell, and there was plenty of room to stand. Product quality is outstanding, and because of this I will be a returning customer. The 510 thread vapes are absolute quality, and the pre-rolls are amazing. The employees know what they're talking about, and what they're selling. Like all marijuana establishments should be, they adhere to incredibly strict government policies, so expect to be asked for your ID more than once. read more

I came in with an online order which helped save some time. There were two budtenders I met there. The guy was pretty cool and actually saved me some money on the order. While the girl on the other hand ended up not giving me the full change back. Overall I still saved a few bucks but not receiving my change definitely hurt my experience. read more

This dispensary is the best I have been to in all of Colorado. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The location is easily accessible and the building itself is elegant in style and clear with its directions. The staff check your ID upon entry but are all very friendly, making small talk and banter with you. It's a very comfortable environment. On top of that, the Green Joint also offers a selection of exclusively top shelf buds, all grown locally in the area. The prices were fair, especially for the pre-rolled joints. The combination of quality, price, and amazing and friendly service made me go back the next day. In fact, I drove over 100 miles to go back (I'm an out of state visitor on a road trip). If I'm ever in Colorado, I'd do the same just to go to the Green joint again. Oh, and by the way, they give you a complimentary water on the way out! I've been to many dispensaries throughout Colorado, including the popular Tumbleweed dispensary across the highway. None of these places offered the same great combo of price and quality for strains. I've been in the medical marijuana community four the last four years and this is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review. Today I called this shop trying to get some information for a family member who is fighting cancer (and had a medical marijuana card) , I just wanted to know some basic information like what their pricing was like and if they carried any sort of rick Simpson oil or Phoenix tears and the response I got was "I'm too busy right now, you need to look on Leafly and call back when you know what you want". I cannot believe the lack of empathy let alone the horrible customer service. I would have willing stayed on hold while the budtender helped other customers if that was even an option he had given me, this is the exact opposite of what the medical marijuana community should be about. I called EVERY OTHER dispencery in rifle Colorado and they were more than willing to explain their products and any options they belived could help with my family members cancer symptoms as well as letting me know what has helped previous patients. So I took his advice and got on leafly just to write this review, if you are looking for compassion, empathy, or even common courtesy then this is NOT the shop for you.
