Actually 4.5 stars! I rarely give 5stars. The half star reduction was because it was a bit chilly in the restaurant and that made our, well prepared, fool cool down quickly. The portions were great and hopefully i can post pictures! The potato/ cheese soup was exceptional. My wife's Mexican omelot arrived on a plate sized tortilla! Very cool. They have a large selections of bread for toast. The place was very neat and clean and our server, Dixie, was fast, friendly, efficient, and a hoot! Street parking!

If you've ever driven from the Twin Cities to The Dells/Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago, you've driven past Tomah. You may have even stopped for gas and some eats. But you have probably not BEEN to Tomah. And I think you should. Take the extra few minutes and go beyond the Perkins and the McDonald's. Drive into the charming main drag with its supper clubs, yoga studio and biker store. We hit the Greenwood Cafe for lunch on a Friday and knew we were in the right place as soon as we stepped inside. Weird, but wonderful. A group of 8-10 regulars at the counter were each enjoying a cup of joe while chewing on toothpicks and solving the ills of the world. A table of about 6 cops and highway patrols on their lunch break dug into soup and patty melts. They serve breakfast all day along with a few sandwiches and burgers. I opted for Dave's Daily Scramble, a large serving of hash browns topped with scrambled eggs, a thick slice of ham and cheese sauce. Multigrain bread came on the side and was served with a packet of marionberry jam, something you don't usually see unless you're on the West Coast. Every wall is covered with taxidermy, Packers paraphernalia and holiday decorations. Does a fawn on top of the revolving pie cabinet make you hanker for dessert? Not in my case. Like I said, weird, but wonderful.

Chili was so amazing. Really thick and tasty!

Great breakfast. Service was a little slow and the waitress seemed stressed. But overall it was a good experience.

Quick thoughts... It's a slice of Americana. The senior center must be close by. The BLT and Turkey club were great. A little more pricey than we thought. $8 for the club and $7 for BLT.

The portion sizes are outstanding and you will never leave hungry.

When I moved to Tomah I was looking for a place that has outstanding high quality food. I found that at the Greenwood Café. No matter what you order the food is GREAT; if you come back six months or a year later the quality will still be the same. You have to go there and experience it for yourself. One last thing they have outstanding pies. Thank you all very much

This place gives you a lot of food on your plate, and it's lip smacking good. The atmosphere is cozy and the prices are fair.

From the moment we sat down, Kim burst onto the scene like a superhero in a "Restaurant Rescue" movie. Her menu knowledge is impressive. I asked her for recommendations, and she made suggestions like she was guiding me through a culinary choose-your-own-adventure book. "You could go with the salmon, or you could take a walk on the wild side and try the fish tacos," she said, winking like she was sharing a state secret. Guess which option I went with? That's right, the spicy tacos! Throughout the meal, Kim was like an ever-vigilant waiter ninja--appearing just when we needed her, whether it was for more condiments, a drink refill, or a much-needed pep talk about our life choices (which, yes, she absolutely gave)! Her humor (she's hilarious with a great laugh and smile) and wit made for such delightful banter; if I had a dollar for every laugh she gave us, I'd be able to pay for my next five meals. And let's not forget her ability to balance all the plates like she's in a circus act--seriously, someone get this woman a show on Broadway! She even expertly dodged a rogue pretzel that my friend attempted to throw across the table (don't ask) without missing a beat. So, if you find yourself at Tap house Twenty , do yourself a favor and ask for Kim. Not only will you get fantastic food, but you'll also leave with a stomach sore from laughing! Kim, you're a culinary queen and a comedy legend--thank you for making our night unforgettable!

We ordered various items off the menu the chicken wings, a vegetable pizza, Ruben sandwich, a chicken sandwich, a burger, nachos, grilled cheese, salmon, chicken Alfredo, several milk shakes, and a ribeye steak. Most of the items came with French fries which were ok at best. We were not impressed at all with the chicken sandwich. The burger was good but too small for the bun so we took the top of the bun off the burger so the meat to bun ratio would balanced out. The star of the show was the ribeye steak it had an excellent char, it was juicy, seasoned well and the temperature on the cook was spot on!!! Our wait staff was amazing and took care of our needs. I would return if I lived in the neighborhood.

It was a quick lunch, I enjoyed a Single Cheeseburger Basket with Fries. I love that their fries are, crinkle. Crinkle fries hold on the ketchup, when dipping it into the little cups. The little cups are another reason why I love Culver's. I hate public shared bottles of catsup and prefer the ketchup to be served in paper cups or stainless steel when dining at a sit down restaurant. Of course, I had their famous Root Beer as my beverage. My burger was a perfect smashed burger with crispy edges. I'm simple with toppings. I go for only pickles and onion. I then add the condiments of mustard and ketchup. The dining room was clean and as soon as other guest left, the staff was busy cleaning the booth or table for the next guest.
