After 20 minutes with no server acknowledgment and no water, we watched a party be seated after us and then served right away. No apology, no explanation. This was not acceptable and we ended up leaving. I wanted to love this experience and support a historic local business, but being overlooked with no acknowledgment was very disappointing, poor customer service. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. It was decent but noticeably slow even before the crowd showed up.
