Great music as we walked into to a packed patio. Love the renovated interior and nods to local history by local artists, particularly the wallpaper. Wine selection is carefully curated. I really enjoyed the wine by the glass offered at the bar. Service was satisfactory, but if you're looking to find a boisterous bartender it may not be the spot. It was suited for us as a couple seeking to sneak in some quality time.

Massive wine list with ample beer selection, too, and a good range of pricing that's manageable for anyone. A great place for a social get-together that seems to regularly attract an older local crowd that all know each other well. There's indoor seating with even more outdoor patio seating. With live music on weekends, I almost never see the place empty when it's open. There are also numerous TVs and plenty of sports to watch. Minimal food options, so it's more of a place you go after having dinner at a nearby restaurant in Friendly Center. But bartenders rock and even the regulars don't seem to shy away from chatting with a new face.

Absolutely Amazing - Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration! My husband hosted my 50th birthday party at 1808 Craft & Vine and it was truly one of the best experiences we've had in Greensboro. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. The owners are truly fantastic - genuine, welcoming people who clearly pour their hearts into creating a special place. The wines are so delicious (we enjoyed several fantastic options), and the outdoor patio was such a bonus. We love love the live music - it was created the perfect vibe. It's hands-down one of the top spots in Greensboro for great wine, wonderful people, and a real sense of community. If you're looking for a place to celebrate, relax with friends, or just enjoy a glass (or bottle!), this is it. We'll definitely be back again and again. Thank you to the owners, Del and Debbie, for making our special night so memorable! Highly, highly recommend.

1808 is a great spot to grab wine after work. Dale took awesome care of us and had a lot of knowledge about the different wines and regions. I started with a semi dry white and finished with what I'd call a medium body red both were very delicious and refreshing. They have ample patio seating which is great for a early spring afternoon/evening. The inside was nice and quaint with tvs so it would be a great place to catch a game. They did have beer and cider for anyone who isn't a wine drinker. We were told about their wine dinners featuring different cuisines and might check those out. Bonus points for having a clean restroom!! This was a fun place to try that I've never been to and I hope to return soon.

Came in while shopping on Saturday, Sept 6 during the afternoon. It was one group and a few others in but very quiet. There's a variety of seating options including traditional bar seats, traditional low tops, comfy chairs, and patio seating. The wine list has great variety with some craft beers. The food is limited but provides a variety of quick bites. The food I saw looked good and had great presentation. Looking forward to coming back!

    Best bartenders!

Randomly stopped by on a Friday night and had a great time! There was live music and a great selection of wines (there are also beer options). I love how this place had historical books on Greensboro. It was nice to look at and learn more about the city. The staff, dynamic duo, Brittany and Whitney are so nice, welcoming, and very attentive! They made our experience a blast. Would definitely return.

There's limited seating in the interior, but there's a large patio with extra seating. We attempted to sit on the patio, but the mosquitos had plans that we did NOT sign up for! So we went back inside to sit at the bar. I wish there was different barstools. Those were just too shallow and not very comfortable or supportive. Thank goodness they weren't too busy when we were there because there was only one seserver. He was super nice and attentive as he could be seeing as how he was running in and out to serve the interior and exterior guests and also making the drinks! Some drinks are specialty so they take time to actually make. I hope they covert their pass-through window into a door into improve efficiency. I ordered the mojit flight and my two friends orordered the Tequila, and Marguerita flights. General consensus was that the drinks were good , but a bit too sweet. I wish mine was served with mint leaves like the menu pictures, but I didn't ask for them or why they weren't included. Overall, I'd go back with my girlies and try something different.

Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.

Reservations are made for a reason, however, my time is leisurely when I dine out in the evening, so it's really no big deal to me. However, it would be greatly appreciated if guest's would receive brief check-ins --"we will get you seated shortly, we apologize for the inconvenience, etc. ) acknowledgment goes a long way--Just know this has been my experience for lunch, early, and now late dinner. Full transparency, I keep coming back for the calamari. To me, it is stellar! The first time I thought, where are the tentacles?!?? Is this truly calamari??? lol...it is, and it's PHENOMENAL Consistent every time. On this last visit I was very disappointed to be seated on the restaurant side of the house. It was loud, I was seated at a table, ugh! My preference is the bar side--so much more comfy , cozy, and a bit more intimate. I digress. As previously mentioned, it was late so I got the fave...the calamari, a pineappletini, and a salad. The salad was HUMUNGOUS! I had to take it home as I had already overindulged in the calamari. Our server checked in as much as he could, but I could tell he was over extended. Be back soon for the calamari and hopefully the booth seating on the bar side .

Great bang for your buck! Food is top notch. Their spaghetti was amazing 5/5, and their steak is beyond flavorful but definitely not worth the high markup. I'll go and order 4-5 apps easily, no need for the skimpy entrées. Service is great, staff is attentive, and all the Ts and I's are crossed and dotted. Clean, friendly, water is good and tea is fresh not spoiled. They have a stellar variety of wines, but I love their sweet collection. So much flavor and unique notes I don't find elsewhere too often. The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.
