When I called to schedule an appointment, Kristen was incredibly helpful--she took the time to answer all my questions, listened to my concerns about my dog's anxiety, and clearly explained the next steps, pricing, and what to expect. I really appreciated knowing in advance who would be working with my pup and exactly what services would be provided. Kristen is genuinely warm and kind, and I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. Teva did a fantastic job grooming him and was just as lovely. I just thought I would share with potential customers. I had been taking my dog there for about a year with no issues. I just took my new puppy there for the second time. It was his first full grooming appointment. My first dog came out fine. My puppy was not so lucky. He was dropped off fine with no injuries of any kind. When I picked him up, his leg was dripping blood in the lobby and Ash had to wipe him off. I was told by Ash that there was a scab that was nicked. I wasn't aware of a scab so I should have looked closer. I trusted them, paid, and went home. By the time I got home, my puppy was limping and bleeding more. I took a closer look and he had a hole the size of a dime (not to be confused with a scratch) in his leg. We called Kristen at the groomers and she said it wasn't a scab (so for them both have looked at it there seemed to be conflicting stories), but the injury was before he got there. I think I would have known if my puppy had a dime sized hole in his leg, was bleeding, or even limping around. She said she prided herself with communication, but they didn't notify me that my dog was wounded before and groomed him anyway (if that were the case). With a hole that open and that large, it probably wouldn't have been safe to groom him. I would assume you would at least text or make a phone call to inform the owner. It didn't make any sense really. I took him to the vet right afterwards where he ended up getting 2 staples in his leg. The vet confirmed that there was no evidence of a previous injury (looking around the wound) and it was a clean cut that happened that day. We contacted Kristen for a refund on just my puppy (not the other dog) to cover the vet bill and she basically refused and told us to find a new groomer. I understand accidents may happen, but I do believe in being accountable for your mistakes. I'm not sure what happened to cause this injury while he was there. It could have been clippers or scissors, but I know for a fact it happened there. I didn't take pictures of him before hand and it's not life threatening so I'll take my losses and move on. I just want to warn potential customers in case they have a similar situation. We'll definitely be looking elsewhere. To add insult to injury, the haircut on my puppy didn't even look great. My older dog's haircut wasn't bad though. My problem is the injury and the lack of responsibility. Also, how quick Kristen was to tell us to find a new groomer and stopped communicating with us when nobody was being ugly with her. It wasn't even a disrespectful conversation. read more

The owner grew up around horses and dogs and treats her pets like family. When your get your dog groomed she will treat your fur baby the same! The staff is very professional and super nice. This place is great! Kristen did a great job. They are very easy to work with. You can tell that Kristen has many years of experience grooming and handling dogs. I think that dogs have a pretty good sense of character, and mine seemed to warm up to Kristen quickly and felt comfortable with her. read more
