A huge thank you to Yelp for helping me find Pampered Pets. We took all four dogs there yesterday for a groom. They were very overdue for this, as I got them off their schedule during the move. I finally took the poor darlings in yesterday for their first groom at this new place, and we are absolutely thrilled. Four dogs is a lot, and I was running a little late so I was flustered in trying to explain what I wanted. Also, two of the dogs are my parents' dogs, further complicating my monologue. Sharon was so patient and sweet with me, she immediately put me at ease. My two dogs are getting to be seniors, a fact I try to ignore. Gertie in particular has been losing her hair in big clumps. Sharon got their grooming so perfect that they almost look like puppies again. I'm thrilled with how good they look and how happy they seem with their new 'dos. Thank you to Sharon and Pampered Pets! I drive across town to take my mom's dog here because it is close to her house. The first time was good but noticed they charged her extra for a nail trim, 2nd time I took her, I told the groomer to do the same as last time, assuming they had what was done last time in their computer system because the groomer said ok. But I later found out they don't have a place for note so she wasn't shaved, they only bathed her and trimmed her nails and again an extra charge for the nails. I complained and I was able to take her back the next day and they made it right, free of charge for the shave, as it should be. I went to their website and, as I remembered, nail trimming is part of their grooming package. I took her in this morning with the intent of asking why they were charging extra for nail trimming as it was part of the grooming package but I didn't get that far. I walked in at 8:15 as I always have and was told they do drop off from 7:30-8:00 and I was late so they were charging me a late fee. I just turned around and walked out. (I checked their website again and they don't open until 8:00) I took mom's dog back to her, told her what happened and she immediately said drop off is between 8:00 & 9:00! It seems they are actively driving away business. Everyone gives this business rave reviews but all I have seen from them is shady, greedy business practices!! read more

We lived in Edmond two years and Dr. Ledger and his staff were absolutely wonderful taking care of our dog. Chumley has many issues with allergies and was a frequent visitor to the clinic. They always made us feel welcome and were extremely helpful in managing his health issues. Dr. Ledger really cares and went above and beyond to accommodate us many times just so Chumley didn't have to go even one day being uncomfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful and was able to schedule us whenever we needed. I will miss the high level of service and care they offered. We had to move so we no longer use them. We have brought our teacup yorkie here three times to board. First time they lost her tags. Not really sure how that even happens! Second time her leash... This last time her blanket and they broke her food bowls. She seemed to be very depressed when she got home this time and very sleepy... Almost to the point where it seemed she was on something. They did complain that she barked a lot when we called to check in on her while we were on vacation. But really hope they didn't give her anything to get her to stop barking. read more

Very very friendly! I had to get one of my Dogs teeth cleaned they took their time to explain every step they were goin to do. They found out my dog needed 4 teeth extracted and called me to let me know and to let me know how my dog was doin thru out the process. The vet explains thing too you in very simple terms. Took my mini-schnauzers here 6 wks ago for the first time. They meticulously verified shot records via my vet, which was a major plus. I was able to get an appointment within two weeks of my call. The clinic is in a convenient location on the north side of covell, between Broadway and Kelly. The reception area is really nice. They quickly took my pets and asked a few questions about their grooming. When I came to get them, the dogs looked wonderful and seemed very happy with the experience. I think the price ended up being a little higher than Kickingbird Pets or Puppy Love. I called back to see if there were any openings for the upcoming weekend, but was told they don't do grooming on the weekend. That's extremely inconvenient for people that work, as Saturdays would be a great time for essentials with my pets...that's a real bummer, in my view; otherwise, they would get 5 stars. read more

This place blew away our expectations. They kept both of our dogs (chocolate lab & golden retriever) for 4 days in one of the suites. I prefer them both to be together because our lab has anxiety when separated from our golden. Our golden also takes medication that he HAS to have everyday and have correctly. When we picked them up today one of our dogs had had an accident on his bed. They WASHED BOTH of our dogs beds before they sent them home with us. We also scheduled bathes for both of them before we picked them up. They did a great job with that as well. Will definitely be back. Very professional and caring business! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My 80lb Goldendoodle Roscoe was diagnosed with bilateral ligament damage in both back legs that left him unable to stand. This all happened within 3 weeks. The surgery had to be scheduled and I needed professional help caring for Roscoe since he had to be put in a sling to stumble outside to go to the bathroom. Dr. Ledger told us to bring Roscoe in, no problem, and that he could help us until the surgery. Until then I had been carrying Roscoe around in my arms and I really needed help. Everyone at Pampered Pets was so amazing! They would take Roscoe out numerous times a day and would let me know how things were going. Miranda would take pictures of Roscoe and send them to me, which helped ease my mind. Cindy would call with status reports and overall the service there was fantastic. We have been using Pampered Pets Clinic and Spa for seven years. Our first experience was when we had a very sick Yorkie puppy. Our previous vet who we had seen for several years was unable to diagnose her. We met Dr. Ledger after being referred to him by another pet owner at the Emergency Animal Clinic. Dr. Ledger immediately took control of our Yorkie's health situation utilizing specialists as he determined necessary. Unfortunately, we lost her two years later due to a rare blood disease. Subsequently, we took three baby Yorkie sisters and they have been with Dr. Ledger and the Pampered Pets staff for the last 5 and 1/2 years. We are extremely pleased with the care they receive for their medical needs as well as the boarding and grooming services. They are always so happy and excited to go into the doors of Pampered Pets and we feel extremely confident that they are well taken care of in our absence. It is a gift to have the peace of mind that they are being well taken care while we are gone.
