People who have forgotten more about firearms than I've learned. Small shop that has an excellent collection of hard-to-find firearms, a wide selection of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns. I've purchased a number of task-specific firearms there (the assortment of dangerous predators in this area is renowned, and while predators usually shy away from humans, not all do). I've been impressed by their inventory, firearms you don't usually see at most sporting goods stores. They don't have a lot of peripheral equipment that can be readily added to a firearm, but they seem to have good supplies available from their reliable distributors: want something that you don't see? Ask, and they'll order it. Turnaround times are usually very short. Their service is superlative. What's more, those who work in the store are very easy to talk and work with, and have a great deal of experience with firearms -- people like veterans with street creds, yanno? I've been impressed by their commitment to have work done at the date and time promised. I purchased optics for a pistol -- and not only did they mount it, they sighted the optic in to help me save ammunition, making only fine alignment necessary. Try getting that service at Sportsmens stores. Prices are on par with most smaller stores with low overhead... lower prices than what you'll find at Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, and Sportsman's Warehouse (even with their veteran's discount).

It is a small shop with a HUGE collection and selection of firearms. Jim and his very capable crew frequently reset the store and you get to discover even more hidden gyms! I have been in and out of the gun business and shopped on two continents and most states. Jackson's Armory in Dallas is the only store that comes close. I heartily recommend Bucky O'Neill Guns!
