Ken was in frequent communication with us, keeping us posted on a time line. When they did arrive on site, they kept us informed every step of the way. To start, we had Ken come out to our property back around the middle of March, before COVID stuff went into full blast. We received a full estimate for agricultural fencing and it seemed fine. We contacted him a bit later, beginning of April, saying we were happy to move forward. He told us he had some other jobs lined up, but would come bring some machinery in to start getting posts in, especially because the no-climb fencing we wanted would take a while to get in... Well, that didn't happen. He told us he was having issues getting all of the materials, but he'd still be coming to do posts in the evenings/weekends. We heard nothing. Nothing came to our house, no posts were put up. We called, and told him we would be okay doing half of what the estimate was, especially if he was having trouble with getting the rest of the materials. It took weeks to get a phone call back from him. It's now July 6th and he still never contacted us back after saying a revised plan was fine - to be clear, we were also happy sticking to the original plan, we just wanted SOME fencing for our horses. I realized COVID had made it hard to get some materials, but we started this process way before spring AND summer. All we wanted was consistent communication. If he wasn't interested or couldn't handle the job, he should have just told us so we didn't wait months for someone to just NEVER SHOW UP. Completely unprofessional, and I would warn any of my friends away from this company. If he was still having issues getting materials, FINE! He never ONCE called us without us having prompted for a call back from him. Just keep us informed! If you're going to own your own business, communication is half the job. He doesn't realize he has totally screwed us over, and inherently, our horses. Our horses still have no pastures, no other fencing companies can do it until end of September/October because we waited so long for him to return our calls or even reach out on his own, so we had to contact other fencing companies in the middle of their busy season. Absolutely beware. I would honestly just go with someone else if you actually ever want to see fencing go up on your property!

Honestly, I had high hopes. Quintin was a great person to chat with and quickly came out to give me…read morean estimate. He set my mind at ease that he could fix the rotting wood in the side of my house for a good price. And that's where the good things end. First, scheduling. We scheduled a date. Quintin did NOT show up and then when I asked where he was he said he got caught up with something else and needed to reschedule. This happened almost every day for 2 weeks. Then he finally shows up late at night, on my anniversary, so my wife and I are on our way out the door. Then he calls us while we're out on our date and says he's finished and we HAVE to pay him RIGHT NOW or he can't leave! I haven't even seen the work. But I was terrified so I sent the money. And when I got home I actually cried. The work was shoddy and clearly half assed. He used materials I had purchased and didn't pay me back for them. He didn't remove the interior drywall when he repaired the wall, he just put the new boards in and pushed everything back. So now my wall is bulging. He did not add any water tight seals to the wall under the deck, so water is just running behind the board he nailed to the wall. He also didn't do half the work I requested and paid for! I requested that he redo the deck flashing and add water tight seals under everything and he did not! He said "it turns out I didn't need to", but I didn't get a refund for the work he "didn't need to do". I would also like to mention that he left all of the materials scattered around my yard. It took me days to clean up the mess he left behind. Quintin is a cheat and a slime ball. If the price seems too good to be true, it absolutely is. He is not planning on doing the work you ask for. If you have to go to him for work, I recommend just asking your neighbor or some random guy. You'll probably get better results. Edit: I almost forgot! Because he rescheduled so many times, Quintin offered to plow my driveway once for free. Well when it came time to come out and shovel after the insane storm we had this past winter, it took 3 days! I was trapped in my house with 3 feet of snow in my driveway! And when he finally came he made me shovel my car out so he could plow what was left! And even then, he only plowed half of my driveway! I wouldn't recommend hiring him to plow your driveway either.
