I figured it had been a while since I got a haircut so why not try somewhere new? The shop itself was decorated really well. I made an appointment with Kayla and she gave me a great cut. I needed to ditch the longer hair I had been growing out and get cleaned up for a wedding. Not only did I get a good haircut but she also lined my beard out for me too. This spot was really great. I will definitely be back the next time I decided to get a cut.

Just a straight razor, scissors & clippers, all in the hands of a crotchety old man who couldn't care less about you and your problems (after all, he isn't your bartender). Steven is hardly a crotchety old man. Not by any margin. However still, sitting in his chair feels like the good ol' days once again. He gave me a great, close haircut, even with shaving cream on the fur on the back of my gorilla neck. Didn't even try to engage me in conversation either (a good thing, as I am not his bartender). I actually started a conversation with him and it when as such: Me: I see there's a salon right across the street. Steven: There used to be a barber shop a few doors down too.
