$8000.00 For two documents that were filed saying Matthew Springer had taken over for the State Appointed Attorney. No communication. Never talked to the client before that day. Was 2hrs late for court, wound up going with the States recommendation for sentencing. Which was good because if Matthew Springers recommendation were used. The client would have spent another 6 months incarcerated. In the end all this $400.00/hr clown did was sign the State appointed attorneys paperwork(Literally crossed out that Attorneys name and signed his) If we consider his work and the work of his office on a retainer system rather than a "pay per service" contingency. The bill would be $2000.00 at best! This whole firm is fraudulent I currently have a case with the State Bar association. If this firm is not criminal, they are unethical at best. read more

Sends all copies of the documents and asks for your authorization before moving forward . In my case, I am from california and I have to attend the court in Arizona. Criminal Speed in Northern AZ- I'm not a big review writer, but this firm deserves every accolade. Here's the story: I received a "criminal" citation for speeding at 2:00 in the afternoon on a rural two-lane road in April 2018. The officer said I was doing 95 in a 65 zone, and although I disagreed that I was going that fast, there's no argument that I was speeding. No big deal right? Wrong. That particular speed of 95mph that he noted on the ticket could have cost me my job and a lot more. I work for a major pharmaceutical company and I drive a leased vehicle that (and they pay all the expenses). It's a nice perk, but they are stringent in their policies around traffic violations etc. They state very clearly that going more than 20mph over the speed limit is basically on par with a DUI in terms of the risk presented to the company, so don't do it! If that's not enough, I was now facing a permanent criminal conviction as a result. EEK! This was not a do-it-yourself scenario for sure and I knew I needed legal help. Panicked, I waded through the plethora of law firms that come up on a google search and found the Law Offices of Shawn B. Hamp in Kingman. I'm so glad I picked this firm because they were terrific from the start and made the process much easier than I expected. Very professional and savvy about the law, yet they also made me feel that they were genuinely committed to helping me on a personal level. I was very disappointed with the representation I received. Phone calls weren't returned. Documents not updated. No communication between Shawn and Troy. Shawn was especially troubling twice telling me that he was "frustrated" with me when I was frustrated with him and the service I wasn't getting. Finally, I scheduled a three day trip from NY to AZ to get a finger printing that had been rescheduled and appear in court which was canceled. Shawn knew I didn't have to be there but never notified me so I could cancel the trip. I think he has emotional problems and needs to seek help. read more
