But Leo and behold, in the same strip mall we find this town's Valley Dairy. Supposedly only a year old, the inside is brightly but warmly decorated, kinda reminds me of the Valley Dairy my wife and I use to take our kids when they were younger. The food as always is solid if not spectacular and the service at this place was exceptional. I had my first banana split in years and it was delicious. There is jewelry, handmade greeting cards, candles, and all kinds of handmade items. Most, if not all, of the items are made with great care and quality. These are not items you find at any chain store. They are unique and make great gifts, even to yourself. They also always have items for kids to make and sometimes for adults to make. I love that it piques the interest of kids. It also reminds us as adults that we can still be creative. If one pops up near you please check it out. Please support these small business owners.
