My family and I stopped in here on Sunday around 11 AM. There were 7 of us in total. Our servers were great and super friendly. I ordered the BLT which came with fries. The food is classic diner food and it hit the spot. This place is also neat because it doubles as a pharmacy. It brings back a bit of nostalgia. Nice discovery while in the area. I never paid much attention to this storefront, but came to realize it's a pharmacy/ restaurant set-up. Service was super friendly, great menu for breakfast or lunch . Prices are unbelievable for the quality and portion size. Check out their daily specials. Hours of operation caters to a breakfast and lunch schedule. Small town charm and atmosphere. We definitely plan to eat here more often. read more

They are basic, but predictable and consistent. Staff is friendly enough. I've enjoyed every meal at Main Street.

This is such a fun little place! Definitely a hidden gem. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. As other reviewers have mentioned it's located inside a pharmacy which seemed different and a little strange which is why we chose to eat lunch here while passing through on a road trip. Everything was yummy! Even the kids ate their meals, which isn't always the case when we eat out. The decor was cute like an old diner with a juke box and license plates on the walls. Yum!! It's inside of the pharmacy which was a weird concept but I really liked it! The restaurant is pretty small though and we were a table of 10. Luckily, they were so sweet and did a really good job being attentive! Everything here is relatively cheap comparable to VA prices so that was nice. I got the kitchen sink which is the meat and veggie omelette. It was definitely a good size for how much it was. My friend got their chocolate shake and he said it was the best! All of our food came out in a timely manner, luckily. I would definitely come back to this place. read more

So good at $5.97 that I did not mind the "Egg Charge" add on due to the national egg shortage (Didn't know about that). Mt. Pleasant was once known as, "Helltown." This is a cool little place tucked inside a pharmacy similar to Pamela's in Millvale Pennsylvania. The similarities and there. I had a ham and cheese omelette and it was pretty decent and pretty well prepared. Service was OK but it wasn't great. I got there early Sunday morning before there was much of a rush and as a newbie, I obviously wasn't sure how the place operated, and no one seemed too anxious to help me figure it out. Other yelpers mentioned how good the home fries were, but I really didn't like them much because they were the frozen little square cubes of potatoes that really aren't all that great. I've had the same little dice looking things at a few other diners and it doesn't much matter how you prepare them, they really aren't very good. Bummer. By the time I left, the place was packed. Locals really love this place and I guess if it wasn't for the potatoes I would say it was pretty good. read more

I had a meat lover's omelet with home fries and it was really good. This was stuffed with meat and cheese and a good sized omelet. The home fries were just right. A bit crunchy but not overly. My wife had one of the breakfast sandwiches and she also enjoyed it. Food is fresh and tasty for sure. The service was fast and very good. We had our food in about five minutes. read more

Unfortunately we came expecting fast breakfast service. Given the small size of the restaurant. It's has a feel of a small town diner. We are currently sitting at the table waiting over 30 minutes for our food. Nothing special or over the top. One of their sammichs (what they call them) #6 the doughboy (French toast & choice of meat) and 2 eggs scrambled with diced ham. To which our waitress replied to me. I don't know what you want?!? Needless to say I had to explain my order in detail; "2 eggs scrambled with diced ham, side of bacon, with wheat toast and 2 slices of tomatoes." She took our order never to return, another waitress refilled our drinks. 30 minutes later she reappeared with our food. 20 minutes later dropped our check. Not a pleasant experience. She never smiled. As for the food. Average at best and def should have hit up Bobs instead. read more

I just walked out of Main Street Deli & Cafe after standing at the "sammich" counter and then the cafe counter and being ignored at both places. All I wanted was two cups of coffee to go, but two people behind the "sammich" counter and four people behind the cafe counter just glanced at us and ignored us. We also listened to the condescending cook (dark hair wearing a dust mask on his face) talk down to what appeared to be three servers, though you couldn't tell because they were just standing around talking. And I quote the cook, "It's called the Internet. Maybe you've heard of it. All the kids are into it these days." After this experience, I will never go back and you should not go either. read more

We've visited this little restaurant twice now and love it. It's your basic deli/diner food; but not ordinary when it comes to taste and service. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and was very happy. The beef minestrone soup was ok. My husband and daughter both had burgers and commented on how flavorful they were.. We will be back. OMG! This place rocks! In a great little town, a main street diner ?!!!!! There is fantastic food, big portions, and fabulous prices! The menu is named after local town sites and facts... so much fun! I felt like I walked back in time with the neon clock like a diner would have, the jukebox that actually works, the black and white checked floor, and the license plates. Here is the kicker, the waitress told me the owner is the druggist at Hayden's Pharmacy who designed this ???? So apparently pharmacists have a sense for cool things ? LOL read more

My girlfriend, brother and I went here for breakfast and it was delicious. We are visitors from NJ and we couldn't find anywhere to eat for breakfast. My wife and me stopped in for lunch today, December 17, 2018, and while we were waiting another couple came in a few minutes later and sat down. They were promptly waited on and we were totally ignored. We got up and left. This used to be a good place to go but it isn't any more. The wait staff there are ignorant and rude. I've been told how good a place this was to eat. Tried it today and was not disappointed. The wife and I both had the kitchen sink omelet. We both really enjoyed it. The restaurant is bright, clean and nicely decorated. The service was extremely friendly. The food came out fast. Which is a nice change because it seems like the restaurants I've been to lately take 20-30 minutes to get your food. Even when they are slow. We got our food in about 8 minutes.
