This place opened only recently and safe to say our dog hates it but we love it. It has a DIY dog wash station, which has been a godsend for us. Our dog is a big boxer and trying to wash him at home is super difficult. He either jumps out of the bath or runs away from the hose in the backyard, either way it is a total pain in the you-know-where. The Happy Pet Company has a bath with nice high sides and plenty of washing settings in the hose. It is operated with coins so make sure to bring plenty of gold. It generally costs us around $8 to give him a thorough scrubbing and about $5 for a lazy wash. The shop itself also sells dog treats, dog food, toys and bedding. They offer dog washing and grooming as well but this is a little expensive for my budget. Be careful if you come here with a big dog as there are often dogs all over the place. Our dog loves 'socialising' with other dogs but sadly others don't like being pinned to the floor with a big paw. For this reason I always go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. read more

This place is just great. I found on each occasion I've been the staff to be highly knowledgeable and helpful. They keep a record of what food you buy your dog and because of their advice his skin condition has completely vanished, his coat is shinier and he is just a happier little dude. I'm so happy they were able to help in a natural way :-) I found the prices to be competitive and fair also with a great range of natural treats. Plus they don't get upset when your dog pees on the floor... thanks guys! read more

Had my Cavoodle washed and groomed as a spur of the moment thing, they were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The result was a very happy pooch and a very happy owner! My girl came out wagging and licking the staff - a good sign. Thanks for your service, we will be back read more

Unhappy Pet Company is more like it - girls are nice enough but not very knowledgeable, the man - presumably the owner - is an arrogant a-hole. We have been here several times because it's very local to us but never again. The first time I took my dog in he tried to grab her and she snarled - he thought that was my fault for not training her properly, I think my dog is just a good judge of character. The last time I asked about a specific brand of holistic food from New Zealand. He said he'd never heard of it so it wasn't available in Australia but when I proved that a rival store down the road at Mountaingate had some in stock the man quickly became aggresive, rude and argumentative about my reasons for not wanting an American brand instead. I left quickly and will never go back, will be going to Mt Waverley where they do stock the brand and offered to order more if they didn't have what I wanted. It's called customer service, I believe. read more
