My husband was being relocated, so technically we were supposed to use one of the company's appointed real estate agents, but I stumbled upon Anne's website through a mutual friend who had used her to sell their home in Tacoma and I immediately liked her online persona. I then found out from my neighbors that Anne had sold the house next door to us, as well as the one directly behind us (in about a week!). I knew immediately that we needed to hire Anne. So we jumped through a few hoops with our relocation company to allow us to use a different realtor. Now that our house has officially sold, I can say that this was truly the best decision we could have made. In fact the realtors that our company had selected for us had told us they were going to list our home for roughly 50-75K less than what Anne suggested listing it at. Now that it has closed, had we gone with the other realtors we would have left at least 50K on the table. That is a lot of extra money we made thanks in large part to Anne! She is so knowledgeable about the University Place market, she knew things about our house and location that even we didn't know. She went above and beyond our wildest expectations as a realtor. She answered our questions (many many questions!!) via text and email almost immediately... and this is over the course of three months from listing to final close! After we had already moved she went to our house before showings to turn on lights, heat it up and be there to greet the other real estate agents. She was even on hand to schedule our movers when the time came for us to finally move into our new home in Texas. I haven't even touched on the beautiful youtube video she made for our house which generated close to 2,000 views!! The online marketing she did to target specific buyers that would be a good fit for our house, as well as her in person demeanor. She is truly a remarkable person and realtor. My husband and I recently got married so this was our first home purchase together- and let me tell you this was NOT an easiest transaction! Had we not had her representing us we probably honestly would've given up on the home that is now our dream retirement home. I've known Christy for over 10 years and when it was finally time to buy a home and sell my husbands, I was looking forward to working with her. She completely surpassed our expectations and then some! When I say she handles things ... she HANDLES them and gets things done . Not only does she get things done-she gets things done ahead of schedule and is so proactive and on top of everything. She put her extensive network and resources into action for us. This all sounds so cliché, but she LITERALLY is that good!!! During the last almost 2 months, my husband and I kept telling each other all of the time how impressed we were with her! Buying new home: After the inspection of our new home (but in fact an older home) there was MANY things that needed to be taken care (and not small things) and negotiated- she made sure she had contractors out within 24 hours getting bids and getting things assessed to make sure we knew the large picture and history of the home that we were buying and to the extent of the scope of work that needed to be done. Selling husbands home: Literally a breeze. Her amazing marketing, and photos and hustle had his home with an offer within 3 days - meanwhile, similar homes in the neighborhood are still sitting after a month. I actually feel sorry for the homeowners because they don't have the agent that we have!! I want to share her with everybody! From a small business owner myself- you don't find a lot of people that have her drive and determination and follow through-and do it in a way that's so professional yet personal with us as clients. She communicates with clarity and professionalism; especially explaining things that we knew nothing about and made them make sense to us. She is super knowledgeable and so well-spoken and straight forward. Again, a quality that not everybody in her field possesses. Buying a home is a personal transaction... and being able to trust her ... and trust that she's going to do everything in her power and within her scope to make sure that us as clients are represented and in our best interest kept us sane during this process. My husband and I felt like we were a team with her. Everything is figure-outable! In a market where people try to negotiate less the commission of their agent- DON'T with her! She is worth EVERY penny and then some. If we could, we would've tipped her lol. If you want your house to sit on the market or you want to hire somebody who willy-nilly just wants a check and won't put in all the work she's not your girl- she is a rockstar agent.
