This property management gave him and his wife keys to my rental where he physically assaulted me and my 7 year old daughter. Worst property management around rent at your own risk. First off the owner Cindy is a B**** and is extremely rude. They gave the home owner the keys to the rental before even giving me the keys. The homeowner had access to the rental while I lived there. He physically assaulted myself and my child then Cindy and her god awful team turned around and tried to blame me for it. I already had PTSD and these people made it 100x worse. I hope these people rot in their own hell for what they put me and my kids through. Good luck renting from them. I wish I could have given them no stars. I added the pictures of the closet the owner threw me through, the keys to my car he threw against the wall to break so I couldn't leave and some of the bruises from him throwing me around my own bedroom. Then they tried to make me out to seem like I was insane, so rent at your own risk and I pray you don't have the same experience as me. You can ask all the neighbors they will tell you the same thing. They also like to kick people out to place friends and family in there so don't plan to stay long.

The front door is broken and has never really been able to lock--it's almost falling out. The door frame was clearly kicked in before I ever moved in, and the lock has fallen out multiple times (which I had to replace myself). At this point, the door has fallen off its hinges entirely, and I cannot lock it. The garage door doesn't insulate, the front door doesn't insulate, and there's black mold in the house. When I first moved in, one of the heaters wasn't working, and it still hasn't been replaced. Requests to Cindy, the so-called property manager, have been ignored. She even told me to my face, "Well, you couldn't find anywhere else to live, so that's what you get." Instead of addressing any of these issues, she comes around every couple of months to snoop and "inspect" but never fixes a single thing. Because of the poor insulation, frogs have gotten inside the house. The stove looks like it's from 1960 and barely works. And when I put in maintenance requests, I was contacted not by a real contractor, but by the homeowner's personal handyman. When I asked if he was certified, he admitted he wasn't--he's just "a guy." So essentially, they're sending random people to do repairs instead of licensed professionals. Honestly, I might as well just call my neighbor over to fix this stuff myself. This agency will not take care of anything, but they are quick to take your rent money and show up to be nosy. If you're thinking about renting from them--don't.

The maintenance manager has many years of experience and can actually fix indoor, outdoor, appliances, etc. He doesn't have to go out to a property multiple times to fix things. The staff is responsive to everyone--tenant, owner, vendor, potential tenants and owners. I have had dealings with property management companies that are the complete opposite. I'm surprised those companies are still in business. Dishonest, non responsive, overcharging owners, illegal practices, in lawsuits because many of their staff are not qualified for their positions and do not know the rules and regulations. They send out multiple maintenance techs to a property to fix something and they did not fix it--but the company still charges the owner? Of course a few people will do a review to complain about Parkwood but there are many many happy and satisfied tenants and owners. Way more than a couple disgruntled tenants who most likely didn't read their lease where everything they need to know is written in black and white and signed by them. Parkwood is the BEST choice. 5 stars. 10 out of 10.

It's unlike any other agent I've worked with. Most agents will post their cell phone pics on the MLS and call it good. Shane and Lisa call in multiple professionals and work as a team. Every house I've shot for them has had some sort of fixture replaced, a deep cleaning, something painted (if not the whole house), concrete cleaned, windows washed, modern house numbers added, plants/sod/potting soil added. Once all that is done, they'll bring in the stager and photographer. Then they'll market the house on multiple social media channels and have a custom URL website for the property. I know I'm missing something because the extent they go to is overwhelming. I don't know how they do it and still have time to sleep. If I was going to intrust ANYONE to sell my house - it would be without a doubt, Shane and Lisa Klinkhammer. They make the world a better place and deserve so, so much more.

He helped us compile a list of our top-5 properties and, when it came time to settle on our first choice and make an offer, he helped us figure out advantages and disadvantages of each one, rank them, and strategize our approach. We never had a shred of doubt of his honesty and integrity and that he was completely on our side. Shane also has an extensive network of support entities of mortgage brokers, appraisers, inspectors and handy men, and knew most of the listing agents.
