I would rate this event a 3.5 for older adults and 4 for the younger generation. I expected a little more with the Funhouse (it was super small) and Corn Maze (we walked through it quickly). Regardless, I had a great time! They had four attractions, techno music playing in the background, clowns and other characters walking around scaring people, they had dancers performing a Michael Jackson Thriller routine, a couple fire pits available for rent ($75 for a group), a gift shop, drinks and a food truck. Loved the concept, it was entertaining enough for a couple hours, enjoyed the space and everyone's vibe... thank you to the owner. I enjoyed the Haunted hay ride in the forest. Alcoholic drinks were under $15, I had a 24oz White Claw for $10, my friends paid $8 for a beer. The food was under that price as well, the food truck had mac and cheese, three BBQ pulled pork sliders with cabbage for $10, tacos, loaded Doritos, think I heard someone mention hot dogs being served. I would check this event out again next year if my friends wanted to go but I would hope they added an actual Haunted House or something additional. read more

Rating in the perspective of a local haunted attraction, where I was able to get a B1G1 free tickets for opening weekend deal. You enter near the Pumpkin patch and follow signs for the Haunted Forest for separate parking area. Parking is in a field setting. Scare actors were working the crowd and appeared to really enjoy the experience themselves. Michael Meyers and a clown were doing a great job. They have multiple booths set up with limited beer, hard cider, cider, and liquor drinks that were reasonably priced. Fry cakes would have been a great addition. There was a small snack stand with very simple items like popcorn. A small merchandise area was also available. We arrived early, not sure how crowded it was going to be and started activities when the sun went down. Started with "Megan performance" which was several dancing "Megans" to a song ~3-4 minutes, they did a great job. They announced on speaker 10 minutes prior to performance, which happens often throughout the evening. Enjoyed their entrance from the corn field. The funhouse is essentially a decorated shed, no actors - simple add on to the event. The haunted hayride was fun, decent length, comfortable seating (no hay). Audio issues on some of the stops (hard to hear), but actors were doing a great job, they appeared passionate. They drop you off at the haunted trail following the hayride. Some issues here where they didn't have lights on all of their haunted attractions in the woods, so you couldn't see what they were trying to go for. Quick walk back to the event area, but they haven't lit the path much at all. While I understand they are going for low lights, this was not ideal. The corn maze being dark and at nighttime adds a scare factor but only 2-3 actors in the maze (clowns), was expecting more. We bought the pass that included skip the line and we did save some time, but on opening weekend the waits would've been low. Overall, for a local event this is a great effort. I think pricing is a bit high at full price. You can buy tickets online or purchase there. Cards accepted. No bag rules that I could see. Bring shoes that can get muddy and definitely a jacket/long pants, ect. read more

We paid online for a party of 8 (2 adults and 6 kids) totaling $430. Waited 45 minutes to get into the facility to be told we were not going to be able to do the hayride. They were unable to give refunds because "they didn't have capability". Was able to do the corn maze. Corn maze was another 40 minute wait. There was nothing haunted in the maze. One single character in the whole maze. Minimal security. No one checking bags. Girl was vomiting at ticket desk. Some other guy tweaking wandering by the hayride/cornmaze. We went last night, a group of four of us, costing us $200 to get in... I would never recommend this place. The "funhouse" is just a shed- sooo small and there is nothing inside. Not one actor, just a air blown cushion inside you have to walk through, which I thought was pretty stupid. 10 footsteps and you're in and out of it. The corn maze literally had three actors throughout it- which literally did nothing. What was up with the thriller performance? Its not a dance studio? I was soo confused by that. The hayride was soo cheesy- 5 scenes you stopped at, which i thought were pretty dumb. When the tractor left for the ride, they never secured the back gate on the trailer so when the one actor tried jumping on thinking the gate was closed, the gate came flying back and pinched my sons skin, pretty bad. I would never recommend this place. We arrived at 6:15pm as it said on their website lines start at 6:30pm. From 6:30p-7:45p, we just sat at a table waiting for it to get dark with about 6 other people there. There are no food trucks, not even a candy bar to snack on, so def dont arrive hungry - when we left at 8:30p, there were about 10 people total throughout the place. Dont waste your money! read more

We attended The Haunted Forests with a party of nine, eight of whom purchased tickets in advance, expecting a full evening of multiple attractions as advertised. From the moment we arrived at 7:45 p.m., there was an extended delay just to enter the grounds. Once inside, the lines for every attraction were extremely long and disorganized. After waiting nearly five hours, we were only able to experience one attraction, exiting the hayride at 12:30 a.m. The event did not match the advertised experience. Poor communication, overcrowding, and a lack of staff prevented us from enjoying what we paid for. When we contacted management to request refunds, their response was dismissive and accusatory. They falsely suggested that our group had "chosen" not to participate in other attractions. By the time we exited the hayride, cast members were out of costume and sitting at picnic tables eating, clearly showing that the attractions were no longer operating. Management cited a "no refunds" policy and offered free tickets for a future visit. This is not acceptable, members of our group drove over an hour each way only to spend the entire night waiting in line. Overall, we left feeling scammed and taken advantage of. Free tickets do not compensate for the time, money, and frustration we lost, and we will not be returning. read more

Pretty enjoyable attraction located in Clarence. Can be a bit confusing to find because it is located at The Great Pumpkin Farm but it is completely separate so find the right parking lot and drive all the way back. Parking is free which is nice. The attraction is a bit pricey for 45 dollars but given all that they put into it (the hayride, actors, etc), I can justify the price. However I will say none of it is extremely scary by any means. The hayride had actors dressed up and screaming. The highlight was the stop where the original Halloween movie was playing and Michael Myers comes out. The corn maze was pretty bad and lasted like 5 minutes. The food trucks did have some amazing food and not real pricey. Overall, I'd moderately recommend this one for a cold October night. read more

I've been checking out many local haunts and this was very overpriced for a mediocre attraction. After taxes and fees it cost $53 each for my group of 2. This is by far the most expensive haunt in the area and the experience ended up being okay-to-bad. I think I only encountered a total of 7-8 props that moved, animatronics, or special effects on the entire property. The scares came entirely from the scare actors, who did a perfectly good job, and serviceable fog and lighting effects. Overall, the effects and production value were nowhere near enough to justify the $53 price tag. It just felt like the organizers are doing the bare minimum and charging the most they can get away with. Other nearby haunts that cost 2/3 or 1/2 the price delivered much more. I'd value the experience I got at 15 dollars, not 53. Some detailed thoughts: - The haunt's only unique feature was prerecorded audio that accompanied the scenes on the hayride, but it never really added anything. The volume was too loud and at points just played a montage of random horror movie audio clips. - The trail was shockingly short, I've been to free haunts people put on at their house that last longer. Still, there were large gaps with nothing happening and nothing to see, and they sent groups that were way too big through it together. - After the trail it seemed like we were going to reboard the hayride and ride it back to the beginning, but there were no instructions for what to do next. Eventually the one staff member in the area came back and told us to walk back, which was a ~5 minute walk on an unlit path with no signage, directions, no scenery whatsoever, or anything to indicate you were supposed to be walking here. - The corn maze was confusing and had zero decorations of any kind, just actors. We went through it and only saw two scare actors despite wandering through it for a while, which was bizarre. We asked at the merchandise booth if that was a fluke or if we were only supposed to see two actors, and a manager gave us permission to go through the corn maze again. This time we saw 6-7 actors who did a good job, but at the end of the day it was still just wandering aimlessly through an empty corn maze. Most of what surrounded the experience, from the website to the parking to the food trucks to the customer service, was competently handled and not noteworthy. The haunt itself will have to be improved massively and get way cheaper for me to recommend it though. Go to any other haunt instead. read more

Went last night with a couple of friends to kick off the beginning of the fall season . Some technical difficulties with the audio were troublesome at the beginning of the hayride last night but were resolved and we were told some creepy stories with ghosts, witches, red necks, zombies, psychopaths and everything in between. The hay maze was a bit lame with only a couple people randomly chasing you, but nothing else worth noting. Lastly was the Haunted Barn which actually was quite cool with an exorcist themed exhibit and a crazy chef . Giggles and screams were a plenty . Customer service was friendly and helpful . But I have to admit the $30 price point for the three exhibits was a bit too high for me to attend again . I would recommend these activities for 8 years and up but it really depends on the kid. read more

My husband and I were there this evening and we were not happy with the experience by any means. We waited in line for an hour and 45 minutes to get on the hayride. The hayride, trail walk and corn-maze took us less than 40 minutes to complete. For the price people are paying and the amount of time that you have to wait to actually get on the hayride the attractions should last a bit longer. There was also a huge lack of communication from the staff when we arrived as to where to get in line and the fact that you need to get in line after purchasing tickets online to get a paper ticket and then get into a second line for the hayride itself. Due to the wait time, the very short amount of time actually spent completing the attractions and overall disorganization we will not be back next year and would not recommend anyone else waste their time going. read more

Had a small party with me for my birthday on opening weekend. The atmosphere was already buzzing and scarers were on their top game with hyping everyone up! Loved the corn maze, so spooky especially HAPPY the clown he really freaked me out!! The employees were all so hospitable even the actors walking around made sure everyone had a good time. Dropped off my daughter (15) and 2 friends. Paid $40 for the hayride, "trail of terror" and a haunted corn maze. They called me 45 minutes later to say they were done. They said the hayride was "okay" and the other 2 were dumb. They aren't ones to complain as they can make something fun no matter what, but they definitely said they'd never to it again. It's worth MAYBE $20? Not $40. That's a rip off for less than an hour of entertainment. read more

This seasonal attraction was worth every penny of the admission price. The admission includes a haunted barn, a fun corn maze and an amazing haunted hayride. The scary sherrif was our favorite part-especially when he came aboard the hayride. There was a dance group that recreated the infamous Thriller Halloween dance complete with smoke machines and zombie make up. All of the supporting cast members were great. Parking was convenient and FREE. There are several food trucks for snacking. Port-o-potty restrooms were clean and centrally located. There are fire pits that you can rent for an additional cost.
