Dr. Porter is a rare find. He excels in identifying the details of what is going on; or what has occurred within your skeletal system to include all parts necessary to correct. He can literally examine "by feel" for what's not right, and has the intricate understanding of what to do to restore the body to an acceptable state. August 2024, I moved an hour away from his office and that led challenges for visiting him when needed. Allow me to say, I have always been an active person, an athletic type person and always willing to participate in physical activities. Raquetball; volleyball; weightlifting; and even MMA - and other things that tend to cause impact to alter my physical body. Over the past year, I have had an opportunity to need "chiropractic care" - skeletal adjustment. Because of the distance to Dr Porter and my random work schedule, it led to trying two other chiropractors. Both of the other chiropractors were visited for two weeks without correct and appropriate treatment. I'm not saying the other two were not acceptable chiropractors but I am saying that on two different occasions and two different events a trip to visit Dr Porter repaired my body with the first visit to his office; when the other Chiropractor could not perform after multiple visits. This proves, in my opinion, his peculiar ability and his unique experience and skills to identify and repair a body.

My body has brought other medical professionals to frustration and tears, but Dr. Bailey is the guy who figures out the puzzle and allows you some relief from the chronic pain and demented, sabotaging evil scheme your no good body is plotting against you! Have people suggested chiropractic adjustments or the benefits of physical therapy but you're still skeptical? Then I strongly recommend you read my previous two reviews as I endeavored to make them useful. Everything still applies except they haven't been doing Saturday's lately- could change again in the future. Also, with COVID19, traffic hasn't been bad getting in and out. Dr. Jon is gone and Dr. Ivy is on leave, Dr. Chandler is the other chiropractor and I hear wonderful things about him (but Dr. Chris Bailey is my man). The staff being wonderful, the available machines and therapies, Heather being a super hero, Christina managing impossible feats other massage therapists fear- all still true!! The fact that they will work with your schedules, emergencies and payment plans- also still true! But this review isn't about giving you all the details to make a decision on a great place to get physical therapy or a recommended chiropractor. This review is to straight up give props to the person who helps me get through the day when my migraines are blurring my vision, when my chronic pain isn't letting me straighten up and when a rib under my shoulder blade popped out, kinking my neck which twisted my jaw that led to my ear canal closing so I couldn't keep my damn balance when walking. I mean, come on! Am I maybe a little sentimental because we tend to reflect on the good things in our lives on our birthdays? Well, yeah, that's true, but that doesn't make this review false or undeserved. I woke up thinking it's a miracle I made it to this birthday considering how hard this last year has been on my body and then I realized it's because I'm so lucky that Dr. Bailey started working on me just as things were getting worse again. This man has over 20 years experience and I could see it on the very first adjustment he did on my neck. He can see problems with me before I've complained and before he's touched me. I am blessed to have someone so experienced and intuitive helping me and frankly you're lucky if he trained your chiropractor. He's so dedicated that even when he takes "a vacation" he only takes a couple days in a week because he knows he has patients who couldn't survive an entire week without him. He doesn't leave the room for the next patient after 3 adjustments or if something isn't cooperating, sometimes he'll need to do 15 adjustments to get the job done, and he does. This man runs his own business, trains new chiropractors and sees 100 patients a day- give this man a medal, make him president, build a damn monument! I was told my pain could be from having a straight "military" neck. I read on a pain forum that this Doctor helps restore curvatures. So I made an appointment and took in my previously done MRI of the spine, MRI of my brain and an xray of my spine. Dr. Justin took the time to review the films. He said it would be easy to get the curve back in my neck. He gave me easy exercises to do and I see him twice a week (I bought an eight visit package). He does Applied Kinesiology during our treatments and he is so good at it, that he says out loud what he is doing. It sounds like a complex equation and it is working! I am so thankful to God that I sought out this doctor! Pain that has never responded to pain relief treatment of all sorts for longer than 24 hours is now responding! It is amazing!!!! It's amazing how the human body works, and how it can heal itself with the proper tools and findings. Dr. Justin is "magic", as we call him. He finds issues with muscle testing (kinesiology) that no other doctor has ever been able to diagnose as well. It's not "hokey". I truly believe in his diagnoses, as they are HELPING us! He isn't your tradional 'chiropractor" who pops bones and has you in and out of his office in 3-5 minutes (like one I went to in Flower Mound, near Cici's Pizza if you're interested, who seems to just run an assembly line and do the one-size-fits-all back popping, with NO relief and not much verbal instruction on things to do to get better, but that's another review for later on him). Dr. Justin takes his time, and he also doesn't try to sell you tons of supplements. He only has me on 2 supplements, and a new exercise plan. He truly cares, and he is funny as well, with a great bedside manner. He has also helped at least 8-10 other people we know personally (teens and other moms and dads my age). He came HIGHLY recommended to us, and we are SO glad we went to see him. His office staff is great and friendly too. Fairly easy to book appointments without much delay. His goal is to see you not more than 3-4 times, and then just periodically for checkups... He's thorough in addressing your concerns and giving advice on maintenance between visits. During the adjustment, it doesn't feel rushed and once you're done he has you walk around to see how everything feels. Today, my wife received a sketchy call from some third-party company (Transworld Systems Inc) claiming to be calling on behalf of VRX Medical and asking her to reveal Personal Identifying Information. After a little research, it seems that there are tons of complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau web site. Neither Village Chiropractic or VRX Medical has contacted us about any balance owed. What a horrible way to do business and Village Chiropractic can be sure of one thing: we will never, ever use their services again! Turns out we owed them a co-pay that they failed to collect at the last visit. They had the wrong address recorded for her account--even though they had to make a copy of her drivers license and insurance card. They never called, they claim to have sent 2 invoices to the wrong address, and turned us into collections over $50 because of their failure to properly communicate. What a joke this place is!
