What a difference! I've been seeing the same dentist for 40 years but couldn't get in for 5 weeks with a cracked tooth so I tried Healthy Smile. Very glad I did! I've never had a dentist spend that much un-rushed time explaining what was going on with my teeth in such a caring way. And rather than just yanking the tooth, she set me on a path to try & save it. I learned so many new things that had I known previously, would have saved the loss of other cracked teeth. Every staff member I dealt with, from the office, hygienist to the doctor were pleasant & welcoming. As others have reviewed, the office is very comfortable & you feel more like you're visiting a friend rather than the typical "medical" building feeling. I also feel they are technologically above anything else I've seen in the county. The abilities they have on-site pleasantly surprised me. After a year of consideration on the matter, I have decided it is time to share my experience as a former patient with The Healthy Smile Center. Others have the right to know who these people are. Last November (2019), I was terminated from the practice in a rude, cowardly manner with no forewarning after 13 years as a patient. During my 13 years as a patient, there were FOUR occasions on which I was unable at the last minute to make an appointment, resulting in a "no show", generally relating either to my own condition or the special needs of my child (they were fully aware of both). The dates of those no-shows also coincided with a time when I was navigating my way through and out of an abusive relationship. My situation was difficult, painful, and complicated. For each of the four no-shows, there were rather extreme extenuating circumstances. The most recent no-show, for which I was ejected from their practice, was due to severe illness. Shortly after my missed appointment, I spent a week in the hospital fighting for my life. I offered to provide documentation of this. I was met with what I can only describe as coldness laced with contempt. They did not care at all. The response was just basically "we made our decision". I guess the timing of my no-show was bad, what with their having to pay for fancy new signage, uniforms, and other aesthetic upgrades made to their office. Clearly appearances matter to them far more than patient care, because after 13 years and a very reasonable explanation, you would think there would at least be a conversation or a modicum of compassion. But no. In frustration, exasperation, and actual shock at their callous attitude, I finally stated that I would share this experience publicly. I was told that they "knew" I would because I "have done this before", and they "fully expected" it. Perhaps they have me confused with someone else. Or perhaps I did leave someone a negative public review using my actual name at some point, but if I did, I don't recall and even after searching my own name in various ways, I came up with nothing. This means they're confused, or they did some very deep digging into my online life and found things that even I couldn't during the past several months of trying to figure out what on earth they were referencing. Cyber stalking, blatant disregard for the patient as a whole person, and HIPAA violations are not something anyone should tolerate from a dental practice. Their action also implies a rather venomous conversation, completely unrelated to my patient status with their practice, had by my doctor as well as other staff members about how to eject me from the practice without consequences. Let me reiterate: FOUR no-shows in THIRTEEN YEARS, and my expulsion due to being unable to show because of a life-threatening illness which required a week of hospitalization. For all of their discussion and consideration, it would have been nice if I were included in any of it. Regardless, it appears far more thought went into the potential of receiving a poor review from me than any concern they had about patient care. At the most basic level, the callous disregard for a struggling patient was disturbing, and how they handled it was nothing short of appalling. I was given no warning, verbally or on paper, that I was teetering on the brink of expulsion from the practice. I only found out they were done with me when I made phone contact to reschedule my appointment after I recovered from my hospital stay. They claimed to have sent a certified letter informing me that I was no longer their patient. I never received such a letter and still have not to this day. At this point, I wouldn't want anything to do with their practice even if they welcomed me back. There are very obvious concerns about privacy, cyberstalking, HIPAA violations, and mistreatment of patients with disabilities. Their work isn't great, their "bedside manner" leaves much to be desired, and the practice is all about appearances, not patient care. That fancy office is covering a whole lot of ugly. read more

Dr's Crombie, Balogh-Crombie and Hoza are all amazing dentists! The facility is gorgeous and it has a very homey feel! From the time you enter the building the staff welcomes you as if you were part of their family. The doctors main concern is your dental health and making sure you understand all your treatments. The doctors and staff are all so caring and make sure you are comfortable throughout your entire appointment! I highly recommend you try this office, not only am I a patient I am an assistant who has worked here for 12 years!! read more

My Healthy Smile is awesome. They took me in as a new patient. I needed a tooth pulled and they did it that same day. Every single person there went out of there way to be helpful. Dr Deborah was so very nice and comforting, it didn't hurt at all. There office's are beautiful. I would recommend them to everybody. They are second to none. read more
