The real reason for this complaint against Fioritto Dental happened yesterday. Sometime during the night, the implant fell out of my mouth that Dr. Mike installed, and I found it in the sheets. How this occurred can only be understood by me is that the Fioritto dental office is just interested in making money, covering their backs and charging the patient for every one of their mistakes. Have been to this office a number of times and this was the first time I was disappointed in the care I received. Was in office for annual cleaning. I set this appointment 6 months in advance and twice leading up to it I got text messages asking if I would move my time. I set the time based on needing to get my kids to school and getting to work. Being in healthcare myself, we always have the expectation of being face to face with patients, not standing over them. This was my first time with this particular dentist and she introduced herself standing behind me. At no point was she talking to be where I could fully see her. I had a concern about a tooth and after some X-rays told I needed additional treatment. She didn't return to tell me herself, just someone else telling me (I think though hard to say as again standing behind me). No one asked if I had questions or explained the procedure. She also never did a full exam on my other teeth. The hygienist cleaned my teeth in record speed and did not floss them properly. Felt like I was being rushed out the door. read more

If you are considering dentures, RUN! Surgery was fine, except they do not give you any instructions for when you leave. Luckily, youtube and the internet gave me the information I needed to take care of myself after surgery. I got immediate dentures, and they are awful. They are crooked, which I complained about since day 1. They are so ill fitting, and the occlusion is off. They were not sealed properly, so they stain. I was told "they are only immediates, so deal with it." Deal with it? I spent almost 7 thousand dollars for awful work. I had a consult with a new dentist, and he collaborated everything I said. I would not recommend Fioritto, as once they get your money, you are left hanging with immediate dentures that are causing pain,TMJ, and feel awful. read more

Not a good fit for me. Called to verify my apt was at 230pm, told yes. Did paperwork before arrival at 220pm. Told I would need to sign paperwork. Asked if my apt was st 230pm, Sarah confirmed "yes". I called to make the appointment and told him what insurance I had which was Medicaid first was told they don't take it then put on hold then the lady came back and take let's schedule the appointment schedule the appointment so two weeks before the appointment enough time for them to determine if they take my insurance or not they should've already verified that I come into the appointment they do x-rays they do the panoramic x-ray. They do a cleaning. The dentist comes in and tells gonna work up a plan. They'll call me in a couple days go by I get a message that they don't take my insurance. This is the fourth dentist. I've been to this year to try to get my mouth fixed I need to be I don't numb. They should've never done any of the work. They should've known that take my insurance and then they wanted to charge me to give me my x-rays so I cannot give them a good rating on my situation. And I will not refer them. read more

Not a good practice if you have an emergency. They were my regular dentists. I had an extremely painful tooth. They called in an ibuprofen prescription and a prednisone prescription and could only give an appointment eight days later. I was able to find two local dentists who would fit me in -- because I was in extreme pain. I chose one of them and I'm glad I did. I have never had a dentist who made me wait to get treated for an urgent problem. I recommend getting a regular dentist who will see you quickly if there is an emergency. read more

I called on a Monday my 7 year old daughter has a broken tooth from a cavity in the back, they got her in on Wednesday! I was happy they got her in she was very calm and let them look. She has lots of pain. They looked at it and referred her to a kids dentist. Did absolutely nothing! Kids dentist can't see her for 2 weeks. My poor daughter is in severe pain everyday. I am so upset cause they didn't try to do anything. Not even antibiotics to help or a clean!! Absolutely nothing. I can't tell you how disappointed I am! They advertise that they are a family dentistry and so everything in office but refused to help my daughter. I could understand if she was freaking out but they didn't even try. Do not take your kids there. I wish when I called on Monday they would have told me we don't take 7 year olds. read more

I went to them for a dark spot on one of my front teeth.(Not a cavity) A worker approached me with a needle for novocaine. She did not know that I didnt need it. It was on the surface in the middle of the tooth. I told her no. My feeling is she should have known that. Then the dentist worked on the tooth and got it ready for the filling. She put the filling on the tooth and it fell out the next day. I went back AGAIN she filled it AGAIN and it fell out that night. AGAIN I went back and she stated that my tooth should have a cap put on it. What a surprise. $1100.00 difference. I cant go back there. read more

I felt pressured to have tooth pulled and have post installed, which I'm sure was the right way to go. This is the best dentist office I have ever been to and I have been going there for over 20 years. Dr's Mike and his wife have (along with his dad) helped me and my whole family with all our dentistry issues, and they were OUTSTANDING EVERY TIME! I won't name names, but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist office. It started with being stabbed in my tongue, i assumed accidentally, but no apology was ever made. Then I said what I wanted and all I heard was maybe it will work and maybe not. I was showed pictures of the tooth and she explained that she would remove the cavity and fill it as usual, I asked about the small crack and she said she would wrap something around it then fill the tooth with composit, and it may hold a couple years or maybe a couple months. I asked her not to make the crack any larger and just grind out the cavity and fill it. After she finished I asked to see her work and she told me that she did not grind out the cavity, but put medicine on it, then filled it. She also ground the crack that I asked her to leave alone, more than 3 times the original size. I will be hoping for the best, but after talking with her I'm not feeling very confident. I feel she did a poor quick job just to make sure I do what I'm told next time, if theres a next time. read more

We've been going to Fioritto dental for years. The hygienists are usually friendly and do a good job. Unfortunately I will be canceling my upcoming appointments and seeing a new office. I had an appointment early November 2020 with Dr. Daniela Turcinov. I was surprised at the level of impatience and unprofessionalism exhibited from her during my appointment. When asked simple questions about the treatment procedure and future treatment plans she responded shortly and rudely. I had a filling fall.ojt of a tooth and ended up with a tooth infection. I was in extreme jaw and face pain. They offered me my options as the tooth was not viable any longer. Dr Bryce sent me off with an antibiotic telling me it would help me feel better. I had told him ibuprofen 800mg was not cutting the pain. I got 6 doses of the antibiotic in and my tooth pain has gotten worse. I called 48 hrs after the initial appointment and was told "There's nothing more they can do for my pain" I practically had to beg for an appointment asap to just have the tooth removed. They said the earliest they could get me in for what I considered and immediate need for extraction due to almost unbearable pain was 2 weeks. They did eventually get me in same day and removed my molar. Again I was told they could not offer more than ibuprofen for pain relief. I am currently in extreme throbbing pain and now haven't slept in 3 nights from this ordeal. I have never asked them for a pain med but for this particular dental situation nor have a ever taken pain meds other than acute reasons twice in my adult life. My husband and 2 children are also regular patients here. We will no longer be patients at Fioritto Dental as I would never want anyone who has genuine, acute, throbbing pain to be told "There is nothing more I can do for you" read more
