We love The Henry! We've had an awesome experience working with Nathan at the leasing office. He led us on an amazing tour and has been great setting up our lease, sending a welcome packet, and helping us get ready for move in. The property itself is gorgeous, and all the amenities are top notch. The rooftop lounge with fire-pits is amazing, with a full skyline and mountain range view. Never leave your outgoing packages at the Henry's drop-off point, despite them telling you to do so. My packages were stolen off the table, the front-office girl will not let you review video, will not refund you, and will have an attitude while telling you this. I'll leave the constantly broken amenities, constant staff turnover, dog feces everywhere, homeless everywhere, etc for another time. All for only $4200 per month! read more

Bike was stolen; Air conditioner was out for 3 weeks during summer; My car caught break-ins within a "secured lot" on video and management did not turn it in to police OR owners; Pet waste piles up in the bins / sidewalks; Doors are constantly open yet they wonder why cars get broken into; People put ring cameras facing other apartments which is an invasion of privacy "as management says" yet they never noticed until I asked to install one as a fear of my own security too. For weeks with the new staff photos in the elevator people had drawn faces over them and wrote rude things - I honestly couldn't believe it. I've turned it the tapes, I've done TONS of things to protect my security and those surrounding me, yet "fair housing act" says I HAVE to live here in fear or pay $3000 to feel safe. "Luxury Apartments"..... The garage is filthy, so every time I get into my clean car I drag in dust bunnies. Not all residents pick up after their dog so you will need to watch out. In the halls, baseboards, wall art, fire extinguisher boxes, etc. are covered in dust. The trash rooms are located inside for your convenience, but they are so gross you don't even want to walk into them, so then you end up walking outside anyways. I have also never seen the cleaning crew wipe down doorhandles..... which is concerning. read more

Living at The Henry has been a bit of a mixed bag. One hand, we really enjoy our actual apartment and the space, especially coming from a much smaller space in Brooklyn. The amenities are lovely, except that many of them don't work (more below). The folks who work on-site are helpful and responsive, but it is clear they are limited by the resources provided to them via building ownership (Eaton Vance). This building is part of a larger multi-family investment portfolio for the firm and it's clear that they are only interested in cutting costs even if it's at the expense of the resident experience, as long as it serves the bottom line. Currently there are a number of amenities which are inoperational and issues throughout the building which require an infusion of capital to be resolved. Beginning with the amenities, two of the high profile features of the building which are well-advertised - the pool and the hot tub - are no longer operational. Long story short, management (Greystar) has communicated to the residents that both are in need of a high-priced repair which ownership needs to sign-off on (it feels as though there is a fair amount of "passing the buck" happening here). Additionally, a number of the smaller features around the building such as the gas grills and communal entertainment spaces with televisions which are in desperate need of updates and repairs after the normal wear and tear they experience with 403 units sharing the same spaces. Aside from the amenities, security at The Henry has become a big issue. While we are fully aware that crime has risen in Denver and nation-wide (we are no stranger to this coming from a decade in NYC), the solutions thus far (an AI based camera system and a periodic nightly patrol of the building by a local security company) have proven to be inadequate. There are still frequent (~weekly) break-ins to the garage, the bike/ski room, and the package area because there is no consistent presence after hours during peak crime activity (when we moved into the building it was advertised as having a 24/7 concierge, but upon arriving at the building and seeing the empty desk in the lobby, we were informed that staffing for that position had been eliminated). In short, the building has immense potential - we experienced it firsthand last summer for the first few months of our lease when everything was polished and working well (probably not coincidentally when the sale from The Carmel Partners to Eaton Vance took place), but due to cost-cutting measures and ownership who prioritize revenue over people, the building fails to live up to expectations. I hope this changes in the next few months now that this feedback has been escalated to the upper level management at Eaton Vance as well as Greystar. If so, we will be happy to stay. If not, we'll be taking our large monthly rent payment elsewhere. Sadly, we have referred people to this property in the past, but now I feel that may have been a mistake. We love it here at The Henry! Everything is clean, fresh and bright. The amenities are amazing and everyone is so friendly! The office staff is accommodating and were patient with us since we were making a cross country move and renting site unseen. They worked with us throughout the application process and were able to approve of quick since we needed to relocate fast. The maintenance team is also incredible, very fast acting and kind and completes the issues. The amenities are what originally sold us on The Henry and we recently reserved the club room to host a friends baby shower, can't wait until later this month to see it all decorated. I am coming up on one year at the Henry so going from a nearly empty building to a nearly full one I am happy to give 5 stars. Jazmin has been amazing throughout the last year and has made living at the Henry really enjoyable. The management, Mallory and Carissa are also extremely friendly- honestly every person from the cleaning lady, the maintenance team, front desk... EVERYONE! Reasons I love the Henry: 1- the location is pretty unbeatable. Close to everything and also in a safe area. The Sprouts across the street really spoiled me 2- the amenities are so great!! Things break sometimes but they address it right away! 3- they do several social events each month with food and/or drinks and it's a ton of fun! 4- the view!! I have a great unit with an awesome view of the mountains. Obv not every unit has a view but if you get one it's amazing. There's also a view from the sky deck everyone can enjoy. 5- the quality of the build is great. I can't hear my neighbors, they can't hear me, and the people below me don't hear me walking in heels or any of the typical apartment neighbor noise you'd expect. It is very expensive to live here so we won't be staying at the end of the lease but we have definitely loved living here! read more

Just got an apartment at The Henry a few weeks ago, and could not have asked for a better experience. My boyfriend and I are relocating from the Bay Area, so we had to tour our unit remotely. James (from the leasing office -- he is WONDERFUL) thoroughly showed us the apartment, as well as all of the amenities, via FaceTime, which was nearly as good as seeing it in person. Applying for our lease was also a seamless experience, as James was readily available to answer all of our questions, and make the process move as quickly as possible. After getting our keys to our apartment, and visiting in person, I have zero regrets about selecting The Henry -- even though we did everything virtually. The unit is stunning, the building is beyond what I could've imagined (and offers incredible, spacious shared spaces for WFH), and their entire time is following COVID mandates. I felt safe and secure throughout the entire process. read more

The Henry is okay... the apartments are nice if somewhat cheaply built. The gym is great and never busy (though the building is still not full). They should have more elevators for the size of the building, so get used to waiting 5-10 minutes for the elevator to come. What I really want to caution people about is the crazy lease terms. If you move in here, if you're even CONSIDERING moving out early, find a different apartment. I bought a house and had to end my lease early and they were incredibly rigid with the lease terms. We are paying 4 months worth of penalties which, when you consider how high the rent is especially for Denver, is totally nuts. They're totally corporate and won't negotiate or bend their rules. Obviously it's my fault that I broke my lease but they could have handled it a lot better. Generally, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the way the management company has treated me but I think you can do better. read more

This place needs MAJOR changes to get anywhere near the "luxury" moniker it uses to describe itself. The security, cleanliness, landscaping, customer service, and management at this place have all deteriorated with the new ownership and departure of previous staff. Despite this being a comparably new, nice looking place, the community manager and current Henry employees have made this an undesirable place to live. The Henry and the residents deserve so much better than this. If you choose to live here, considering my experience, I would suggest lowering your expectations for what services an apartment provides: Don't expect your vehicles, packages, bikes, storage units, or anything else to be safe here. Don't expect doors to latch properly behind you, and don't expect them to be fixed. Don't expect the garage doors to close properly. Don't expect security to show up quickly when you call. Don't expect common areas, amenities, hallways, stairwells, the garage, or elevator lobbies to be cleaned regularly--or, in some cases, cleaned at all. Don't expect landscaping to properly maintain the grounds or groundskeepers to address the snow on the sidewalks on the backside of the building. Don't expect the trash chutes to be useable when you enter the trash room. Don't expect the staff to notify you when they receive packages for you. Don't expect timely responses to your calls, emails, or face to face interactions. Don't expect anyone on staff to take criticism without becoming defensive and making excuses and/or blaming the residents. Do not, under any circumstances, expect the community manager to take accountability, responsibility, or ownership for ANYTHING that happens in the community. None of these things are common here. If you live here and have minimal expectations, they may actually meet your expectations. These apartments are not anywhere close to worth the money, and there are much better options in Denver. I don't typically write reviews but I felt an obligation to -- I've never been happier to leave an apartment. We were so excited to be moving into the Henry. A new development with all the "bells and whistles" but don't be fooled like we were. It's a facade. If you're as lucky as we were your apartment will flood in the first month of moving in with category 3 contaminated toilet water, causing you to have to move again, or maybe you'll end up like our neighbor who went a month without AC. The appliances look great but in reality suck, our freezer on multiple occasions didn't work and lost hundreds of dollars worth of food and we didn't have ice for the last 6 months living there --the fix was to move everything out to a different apartment 2 floors up to defrost it and it still didn't work.The amenities are usually broken or flooded by people that most likely don't all live there. The "secured" parking has been broken into multiple times (not that we were left aware-- If you live here, join next door if you haven't already), for the past 2 months the gate to get in the parking garage has been broken (seems like a waste of $100 a month if you ask me ‍), the "secured" bike storage has also been broken into on multiple occasions (we only knew from other residents informing us). And the staff (besides Tyler) are rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. Truthfully we met a lot of great people while living here (almost all who have also hated and left or are planning to leave the Henry) but the actual feel of the complex is more of a dorm than a "luxury" apartment as advertised. On a normal occasion there is dog pee in the elevator or an exploded can of beer. If you're looking to spend a decent amount of money on rent with very little expectations this is the place for you, if not I'd take a hard pass on this place. 10/10 would not recommend. The only positive I have to note is the Maintenece staff. The amount of issues they deal with on a daily basis is absurd, however they do what they can and with a great attitude.. read more

I love The Henry! Literally the best apartment I've been a part of since moving to Denver. They're super friendly and willing to listen. So happy I decided to move here; I finally feel like I'm home! I don't hear my neighbors or the people above me; only the occasional dog barking in the hallway. I can't really speak about the elevator since I live on the first floor, but I haven't had any issues with my apartment in my time here. The apartment complex as is is beautiful on the inside and out. Amazing amenities, amazing location, however... Someone NEEDS to do something about the disgusting animal pee smell outside of the apartment building. Daily I walk by, and it is impossible to not notice. They have a pet terrace and yet the entire side of the building reeks. I personally considered living here at one point and honestly that's the main thing keeping me. Mallory the AM has always been prompt and attentive to my concerns and frustrations even if I was annoying at times. Mallory has always remained professional. It's all about LIFESTYLE....we work hard, we want to play hard yet relax quietly too. The leasing staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating, yet patient with clients. The location is excellent, direct access to major highways, excellent mountain and skyline views, yet adjacent to Wash Park area, Pearl Street and close to DU and downtown, Cherry Creek and stadiums without headache. The actual apartments are brand new, with excellent selection of stainless appliances, spacious rooms, views and bathroom and closet features. The amenities are numerous and varied to allow residents of different interest their own personal playground. The price is right too, and solid fee for the location, amenities and ambience. Other luxury apartments were either outdated, higher priced or poorly located in town, in my assessment. They even offer on-site storage for convenience at an excellent price. The Greystar/Henry designers certainly considered the LIFESTYLE of their clients when they made this place !! Bottom line: If you seek high quality location, solid price and amenity balance with all around excellent lifestyle options, you should tour The Henry and speak with their talented staff, especially Tyler and Derek. read more

The building is lovely, but for the rent, the units are cheap. There is a lack of interest from mgmt when there is an issue. Things have been broken into, stolen, and the attitude it merely " shit happens." There really isn't a "strive" for 100% satisfaction as they claim, pay the rent, and that's all they care about. The internal customer service is all 'service' and nothing to address the resident's dissatisfaction. They take zero responsibility, empathy, or concern for the unsafe occurrences of theft throughout the property. Close all the amenities during COVID, which is understandable since its mandate, but no discount on rent that is still being paid for a feature that is highlighted as a reason to live here. Moving and not renewing the lease here, and would NOT recommend any to move here. read more

The Henry has been a fantastic place to live. But even before living here, I had a great experience and the people definitely made a difference in my final decision of where to live. Starting with the tour, guided by Derek, we were greeted with enthusiasm and sincerity (which I found lacking at a few other complexes that I toured). Derek took the time to specifically understand my needs and focus on apartments that were right for me - not just ones that fit in the budget. After exploring 5+ apartments, we felt the most comfortable with The Henry, its location, the management staff, the upcoming amenities, and the neighborhood. Our leasing process was seamless - coming from out of state, they made it easy to provide all the necessary documents and sign as needed. Since moving in, it has lived up to our expectations. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I've also appreciated the abundant of opportunities they have created to meet neighbors and become a community, rather than just a residence. Great place!
