In this complex there is also a volleyball court, a walking trail, a 1/2 basketball court, a beautiful little lake with a rock fountain great for photo opps, and four tennis courts! When it is not summer this place quiets down and the pool area is not open but the other recreation areas are. Here's a tip: reserve court time ahead online at the CR website. Look out for the people trying to pull wool over your eyes when they tell you they've reserved the court (that you know is false since YOU actually reserved it). All it takes is a quick look up online to see if they indeed reserved the court.. 7/10 times they have. Some people reserve two courts when they only use one but in those situations it is A OK to stay put until the other guys arrive.. If they ever do.

I have a 9 year old daughter who tried a trial class and loved it as well, but she's in gymnastics and I only can afford one recreational activity for each child at the moment. Anywho... I love the fact that the coaches make the kiddos wash their hands upon entering. Afterwards, they head to the waiting area to get ready for class. The class is an hour long and the kids get to do quite a bit. There are climbing areas, ropes, bars, jump stations, and other spots for them to switch to. They start off with some cardio to get their little hearts racing. Normally, it's a few laps around the gym and some lunges or something similar. After that, they stretch and then get assigned to groups. Each group goes to a different station for around 5-7 minutes or so and then they switch until they've gone to all of the stations. They normally have a water break after the first half of class and then they head back to continue. The coaches are very nice and VERY patient. I've seen a few kiddos misbehave and the coaches have always remained calm while pulling them aside and talking to them for a bit. The age range from what I can see is from around 4-12/13 and all the kids always seem to be super excited when they arrive. If you're looking for something for your kiddo to enjoy that's fun and affordable, try this place out. It's 90/month for a weekly hour-long class and your child gets a shirt for registering. This place is clean, fun, and priced just right. You can't go wrong if you choose to come.

I'd recommend getting here early afternoon before the post-work rush. Easy sign in and sign up process - just scan the QR code at the front desk to sign up, enter in address, etc. Then sign in on the paper in the binder for access to either the swimming pool or the fitness center.

They have mini golfing where you can rent equipment inside the facility. They have a great playground area and outdoor fitness equipment. Inside the facility, they have a free pool and gym area. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, water aerobics, etc. Make sure to check out their website or pick up their schedule at the facility for hours of operation. For first timers, you will have to fill out a form and don't forget to bring a large sized towel for workouts! There's a really great large dog park next door but there's no entrance to the dog park from Mary Jo Peckham. You would have to park at the Katy Library to enter the dog park. After driving over an hour to get there and find a parking spot, I realized I forgot our wristbands and had to pay another $20 just to get into the Park one last time which was so much drama despite the fact 1) they could've given me a sliver of Goodwill as someone who has bought multiple season passes and drinks and food while there for multiple years and had no issue purchasing replacement wristbands over the past few years. I wasn't upset because of the $20. I was upset because of the experience. I bought a season pass with every intention of using it this summer, but life had other plans. My entire summer was spent caring for elderly parents, and I barely had the opportunity to come to the park. Looking back, I would have been better off buying individual tickets. Today was the one day I had left to bring my daughter before the season ends. After driving more than an hour to get here, I realized I'd forgotten our season pass tags. Instead of a little flexibility or customer goodwill during the last week of the season, I spent nearly an hour walking back to my car and trying to work something out before finally paying the replacement fee anyway. The money wasn't the point. The lost time and the way the situation was handled completely changed the tone of what was supposed to be one enjoyable day after an incredibly difficult summer. Policies are important, but so is customer service. Sometimes treating a loyal season passholder with a little understanding creates far more goodwill than strictly enforcing a fee. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to renew next year. I'll be looking at other parks instead.

I love the quiet room with the Jacuzzi in it. It's so freaking relaxing. I also like that they have a steam room and a sauna. I love the steam room. If you have eucalyptus oils, I suggest to get a towel and put it on the towel( personal wash cloth) , walk in and kinda inhale it while you in there with the steam. 10/10 !!!! I also like to take showers here lol I've never been to a gym and was excited to take a shower after working out in pool because most of the times gyms don't keep up their bathrooms . But not this gym.! They're about $10 a day which I pay because I don't have a membership and just can't afford one right now but I do come once a month. Unfortunately they will not refund because per Villa Sport, "late fee is late fee". So people read your contract carefully because I also had to pay $80 to cancel the membership. Any other amenities you also have to pay more to add onto membership. Lifetime didn't give me all this hassle. Mind you I used the gym a few times per month when I would return back. It was so inconvenient that freezing also came with a specific time lock, 30 days. So if I arrived before the account would unfreeze I still couldn't use it. There are just more classes available in the day than nights. Wish there were more options for healthcare workers that work graveyard shifts.

All of our videos with our daughter competing have that noise continuously in the background. I suggest having staff in the parents section to monitor this type of behavior. I would take any of her complaints with a grain of salt in the future.

The gym did not have enough chairs or viewing area for everyone to see the competition. The gym itself has no A/C in the loft that was packed. This gym should not be allowed to host competitions. The meet director did nothing about a parent (not her child she was just annoyed) that cussed a 6 year old gymnast out.
