The pictures that I've seen of this place preach. I sell land in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. The rivers that we have experienced Remind Me! a lot of the Home that we all long for. I pray one day I get an opportunity to actually visit this place! It looks amazing. Attached are some pictures--I've included one of the river on the ranch at Waldo's Camp. A friend sent it to me. I've also included fun pictures--even one from my Landsale in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The rivers there are absolutely incredible. I've heard the rivers in Texas are great! Just kidding. I know they are-- because I'm from Texas! I'm biased. Keep checking out my photos and you'll see ;) That's why I'm coming to Columbus one day and spending some time at the Camp! I hope they are ready for me! And when I say they, I mean the owner and any of his employees. I've seen him around town--on a billboard or two. That tells me something. It tells me many things actually, but one of them is that this is, straight up, a legit business. And when you see it, make sure to send a message to God, "thank you for your creation" and also to the owner, JP. Tell him "Jenn says 'hi'!" Yall are the best!

We stayed here overnight Saturday to spend the day at Splashway Sunday while traveling thru with our grandson.Needed to be able to leave late afternoon and only stay one night. Rules at Splashway RV didnt allow that (understandably). This place is right down the street from Splashway, so it worked out great.

I Initially moved here for work and paid…read morefor a month rent after only a few days I found out that I was going to be in a different location so I asked for my security deposit back and to prorate my monthly advancement to get a refund on what was owed back to me. The owner instead of telling me no, lied and said he would mail me a check. After weeks I contacted him again and he once again said he would mail me a check. He never mailed a "check" nor did he even know my name to do so in the first place. He stole over 400 dollars from me. Very dishonest and sketchy place. Would not recommend to anyone !!!

I was very fortunate to have a couple of nights just before they officially opened for the Spring antique fair so had it all to myself. Easy 10min walk to Round Top centre (along a main road which I wouldn't like to do at night). Owners were very responsive and courteous. Only opens for specific events such as the antique fairs in Spring and Autumn. Adult only park, nobody under 18.

There are no amenities and nothing in the park. Not much for shade at all. Electric is 150$ give or take in the winter. So most likely much higher in the summer. Owner is kind, responsive. Park isn't worth staying in unless you have to.

The laundry room is nice with professional size machines. And they even have ones dedicated for pet laundry so you don't have to worry about getting fur on your clothing. The machines do not take money, you pay either by card at the kiosk or by downloading the app, which is actually awesome as it lets you follow the time left....pure genius in my book! I did meet a few people while in there and every one of them were extremely friendly and had been there for a long time. They had nothing but good things to say about it so that in itself makes me feel like I made the right choice. It is an Adult centered resort so there are no children running around all hours, not that I have anything against them, but when I'm glamping I want to enjoy the peace and sounds of nature. That's all I have for now, but will update after I've had a chance to actually do something other than laundry.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet for those who work during the day, but for those who work an…read moreovernight shift as I do the maintenance guy doesn't care and will mow the lawn in the rv area and surely wake you up even if you just fell asleep. The first time I lost sleep was because the maintenance guy flooded my rv when he turned the water on before letting me know he was going to do it. This is twice now that I have lost sleep and can not go back to sleep before going to work. It be nice if the lawn would get cut on Fridays when I an off and don't care if I get woken up. To top it all off the management did nothing about the maintenance guy flooding my rv.

Great amenities, such as the pool and hot tub the lounge where you could shoot a little pool, do a puzzle, watch a little TV, get a free cup of coffee and also the laundry room is very well-maintained as well as their exercise room. They have an area where you could have a little party that has television and a bar like features that you could have a ton of guests gathered together. They have a little shop in their office and the people here are friendly and helpful.

They have a good combination of pull through and back in sites. The do have a few pull through that are not very level from front to back, but most sites are very level. The resort has a beautiful pool and hot tub. An office/clubhouse that is spacious and extremely nice. The staff, especially Nancy, the manager, is very accommodating. The restrooms and showers are among the very best I have seen anywhere. I highly recommend The Hill Top for visiting Brenham, Houston, or even Austin.
