I can't speak much about the waterpark since I came for Bark n' Waves with my dog. They had the…read morewave pool, splash pad open for the doggos. Also a few vendors like Pet Suites, Rover Oaks, and a few vets in the area. My dog had a great time. However, I do wish they would put some temporary doggy bag stations since not everyone picked up after their dogs unfortunately. Tickets were $5 per dog and comes with a human ticket. Their check in process was quick, a waiver is required to be signed prior to entry. Parking was free and plenty, there were a fee concessions stands open offering funnel cakes, ice cream, fries and tots. I like how you can bring a reusable water bottle to refill using their drink station. My dog had a time running around and barking at everything. May return for future Bark N' Waves events.

went here last year, and I noticed that the men's bathroom stalls across from the BBQ place had…read morebent slats so anyone could look in while you were changing or using the restroom. several of the rooms would not lock. people were peeking into the stalls and making comments. I decided not to change my clothes as I felt uncomfortable doing so. I told guest services and they said they would handle it. We came back today, and OMG, the same slats were bent and there were even more openings. people were peeking into the stalls and giggling and laughing. The doors would not lock, so people were opening the doors, exposing 8-12 year old boys to the crowds. finally, I managed to get into a stall, I am an adult, so I tried to change out of my bathing suit into my clothes. i turned away from the door and tried to hold the handle with my hand as the door would not lock. the kids outside the door were laughing as they could see my butt through the bent slats and they were laughing and making comments. and they kept trying to open the door, which I was trying to hold closed...... totally inappropriate. I told guest services and the girl said "ok, I will pass your comments on to management" and then went back to chatting with her friends. the other adults with me reported similar issues, being exposed as others opened doors that would not lock or comments from kids that were peering through the bent slats..... not ever going back here again. and if you go, I recommend you take a buddy to the bathroom to block the door and prevent others from peeking into and seeing you change clothes

It was all of our first time here at Splashway Waterpark and we were super impressed! From purchasing our tickets online to getting inside the park things were super easy and breezy. Like everyone else has been noting be prepared to fill out a waiver for entrance when you arrive as each person in your party will need to fill one out (digital/online) and show a QR code of your confirmation before you get access to the park. It was awesome we were able to bring it our own food, snacks, and drinks on our own! I loved this option as we have some picky eaters and drinkers and ultimately saved on costs for us on buying essentials like bottled water and electrolyte drinks to keep us hydrated of course! But don't worry if you don't come with anything as there are plenty of food options and fresh food & drinks for you to order throughout the park. We opted for funnel cakes to boozy margaritas and even pizza too! Rides and features for the waterpark were so much fun and safe. We had such a great time walking around exploring what we wanted to get on and beat through the June heat. Plenty of tubes and lifeguards all around to make your fun even safer and a no-brainer to try all of the rides. We especially loved the cool and semi-rapid lazy river. Their lazy river was wide and feels much longer than other Texas waterparks we have been to. We loved it so much we spent most of our time here. We didn't do any of the campground parking or RV grounds use as we had a hotel in a nearby town to be able to hang out with each other and have some hotel accommodations so I cannot speak to that experience here. Lockers were super easy to use and rent so don't fret about any valuables you have as they will be safe. There are 3 options for locker sizes too that can hold things like wallet & phone only (if needed) or a large bags and ice coolers. We were super impressed with our overall experience and will definitely be back in the next year for sure.

What a disappointment. We called ahead to see if all amenities were functioning and they said -…read moreabsolutely! We based our decision to stop off of that information. Even at check-in, they didn't mention any of this. Well, we get there and head to the grill because we were famished and ready for a burger, walk in and were told they only had one cook and they had a limited menu: chicken strips, wings and pizza. Not what we expected when the menu online had much more of a selection. It was basically a kids menu. So, we had no choice but order what they had. A corn dog, wings and chicken tenders. Gross, gross and gross. Undercooked corn dog, dry wings and processed chicken strips. The swim up bar was closed. The snack shack was closed. The slides were closed. Kids in the hot tub (which is clearly marked no one under 18 in the hot tub). One trash can for the whole area. Water was clean enough and drinks were okay, nothing special. Everyone was nice, but the person on the phone clearly should have told us what we were walking into. They put us in the spot right next to the playground area. We called and asked if the lights were on all night and how bright they were. Yes, on all night and no, not bright, was the answer. Good thing we requested to move because those lights were incredibly bright! Even from four spots down! Sunset was nice. Park is clean and maybe it's fun when they are at full capacity and everything is open and functioning, but it was less than stellar of an experience. Limited on pretty much everything. No maps with park info or anything. We tried to make the best of it, but not what we expected at all. Pretty bummed about the whole experience. Front desk needs to up their game and offer accurate information so campers know what to expect. Should've left when they said they didn't have any maps or info about the park.
