As a follow up, 2 fascinating facts:…read more After over a week of several unsubstantiated claims from the agent regarding the findings of "reports", we requested a copy of these " alleged" report findings (which, also, the termination paperwork actually says we are entitled to upon request)...do you think we ever got it? Fortunately, as I said, its a small town and we were able to obtain statements regarding the alleged claims as well as have excerpts read to us. That information is in original review. And 2. THIS ONE SPEAKS VOLUMES - We have been informed that one of the Stag's agents has posed on Facebook that if we do not remove this post, he has threatened to have "(his) attorney" sue us for "slander". Considering everything we have shared about our experience , and we do have proof ,and verification of everything we have stated, coupled with the fact the only party suffering actual "damages" has been us : time, opportunity ( locking in our home and presenting the offer as non-contingent then listing primary residences and a recently purchased based lot within days that are still active listings - looks a little... coincidental) as well loss of all of our good faith deposits related to our anticipated move. What do you think? I have an idea - do the right thing from the start. If you make a demand based one a "finding" provide proof of the finding. Pretty simple. But when you can't and painted yourself into a corner ....Threaten a law suit ....another interesting business "tactic".
