I didn't realize at the time The Twisted Petal was a combo flower shop and coffee shop. When I walked in I was unsure where to go to order flowers. The lady behind the counter must have sensed my uncertainty and asked me how she could help. I told her I wanted to order flowers and she went and got the head florist (who is also the owner, Debbie). Debbie was very nice. She told me she had to finish a funeral arrangement and then she would put a bouquet together. While I waited I ordered an iced coffee from the coffee shop side. They have a great selection of drinks! Debbie put together a beautiful bouquet! (All I specified was I wanted something bright & cheerful.) I noticed a little late that they have mushroom and swiss burgers( next time). The fries and frappe were the best parts of the meal. Yes, the patties are smashed. They need a bit more seasoning and less time cooking. While there are people who like extra toasty areas on their food, I am not one of them. I can't quite place what the flavor was to the meat patties. I am always willing to try food out at least twice at a place. Admittedly, I am curious about their BLT or chicken BLT.
