It did get the job done and I thought that having the tent attached to the house was a great touch.

The women working the cashier was very kind and helpful. Absolutely fantastic quality of food and coffee! Our whole group was impressed with everything that we ordered. The stand out was the bacon Gouda sandwich on some phenomenal ciabatta bread. The bagel was outstanding. The pastry case was drool worthy and we'll have to come back to eat through it. Price wise its a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're receiving. Lots of free street parking available. Note for the cold brew lovers - they don't serve cold brew so be ready with your back up order.

It's small but not too small with the outdoor and upstairs seating. I was quickly greeted by the very friendly staff after walking in. I asked "what's the best thing on the menu if I was never to be here again (I'm a driver and likely won't)" and she said the bacon Gouda and boy oh boy was it good! The bacon was very high quality and so was the bread. The cheese was super melted and made the almost garlic buttery mayo taste even better. I would highly recommend it and would recommend this place!!

At the end of the night, unnecessary drama and unfounded accusations caused issues where there weren't any, and my family who had traveled a long way for my wedding were left feeling very uncomfortable and mistreated. We ended up leaving very late for our hotel because we didn't want to leave my family to deal with the drama themselves until it was resolved. If I had known this would happen, I would definitely have reconsidered this space.

We visited several locations in the Kansas City metro area, but the last venue we visited was Crestview Dairy Events. They met and exceeded our wishlist for my daughter's wedding. We would need an event space that could accommodate 200+ guests where we would have ample parking for local guests and great nearby accommodations for a number of guests who would be traveling in from across the country. We also wanted to host the ceremony and reception at the same location. My greatest concern with the event space was that it was outdoors. I'm from Kansas City and the weather here can surprise you and ruin your day. Crestview has that covered, literally with options to move it into covered space that will accommodate you guests. There are numerous lodging options within a few minutes' drive from the Crestview venue. This is especially convenient for guests who are coming in from out of town and might not be familiar with the area. The ease of accommodation was a significant factor in our decision, as we didn't want our guests to undergo the hassle of long drives after the ceremony and reception. Crestview was completely flexible when it came to catering. They were very open to allowing us to bring in our own caterers, which was essential for us. We wanted the wedding meal to be a true reflection of the bride and groom's tastes and preferences. Another aspect we highly appreciated was the kid-friendly environment. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play and be a part of the festivities. The dance floor, an essential part of our celebration, was spacious, which meant that guests had ample room to dance the night away, making it a memorable night for all. The acoustic properties of the space were also impressive, ensuring that the music was neither too loud nor too soft. Parking was abundant and well-organized. We didn't have to worry about guests having to walk far distances, and there was no issue with congestion when arriving or leaving the venue. Also, after parking, hay-rides were available to transport guests who chose not to walk to the location of the ceremony. Crestview also has a beautiful onsite cottage where the bride and her bridesmaids could comfortably prepare and relax without the stress off traveling on the day of the wedding. This was not just convenient, but it also provided a serene and private space for them. In conclusion, Lolo, the events manager, was fantastic and a lovely person to work with. Her focus was solely to make sure my daughter's dream came true. Crestview Events Space in Kansas City is a hidden gem. The combination of its beautiful outdoor setting, its flexibility to cater to personal preferences, and its thoughtful amenities make it a perfect venue for memorable events. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking to host an unforgettable wedding or any other event.

He was so gracious after the show, chatting with everyone who stopped by the backstage door. We felt lucky to say hello and even snap a photo with him! The evening begins with garlic bread and salad, followed by a trip to the buffet line. There's a variety of proteins, including steak, pork, fried fish, and fried chicken, along with sides like vegetables, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I wouldn't say the food is the highlight, but the overall experience and the venue itself are fantastic. Drinks and desserts (served during intermission) cost extra, though they're very reasonably priced. The audience tends to be older folks. I feel like like this is a hidden gem in Kansas City. It would be great to see them bring in some younger actors and actresses for added publicity so more people can discover what a special place this is.

We enjoyed the show Cactus Flower with Marilu Henner and the incredible John Rensenhouse. They were magical. The food tasted OK, but it was not super warm. Sometimes it's hard to keep buffet style food warm, and that was the case here. The salad brought to the table was very lovely as were the drinks and our server. It's probably not the theater experience that we usually have and I'm not sure we would return, but it was a fun time. The room is absolutely enormous, and it was nearly packed full so they are doing a great business and are recognized as the top dinner theater in the country, so it's definitely worth a visit!
