The Hive is an eating quarter in Stoke On Trent's Potteries Mall.
It has access through to the shopping center on floors 2 and 4, and the rest is The Hive's food places and the car park.
The lifts are quite slow and often seem packed, I must have gone in and out a good 2-3 times as they was a lack of signposting to where The Hive actually was and the restaurants inside it.
The Hive does have one restaurant on floor one, but the rest is basically an outdoor complex with a cinema.
Eating places here include Nando's and Frankie and Bennies, they is a Pizza Express too, and the outside part is quite nice - it is the inside part, where you can get in and out of Intu Potteries and the parking I dislike.
They is a lack of signposts and better description and still a low level of places here to eat, compared to places like The Orient or Manchester city center for example, and they could really make a bigger, better area for getting something to eat in Stoke city center.
UPDATE: Mainly down to an issue with the lifts and lack of signposting and signage in regards to which floor to get to, to get to the other eateries and where they actually are, there is actually a frustrating and disorganised feel to this place, making it a dining experience to dread rather than look forward too so sadly deserves a downgrade to a single one star. read more
