However, during my last visit, there was a new employee who I felt was unreasonably and disproportionately rude. I wanted a figurine behind a glass wall, and when he unlocked it, I reached toward the one I was going to purchase. This made him extremely upset with me and he made passive aggressive comments like I was trying to steal or something, when I really didn't think I was too unreasonable. I also wanted to buy a couple mini figures that I put up on the counter to pay for, and I guess he didn't ring them up or something, because when I left the store with everything I THOUGHT I purchased, he screamed after me, took them out of my hand saying "Those aren't free!" and took zero accountability on his end for the mistake. Alas, Bartertown Toys. They're open 11-7pm, on the daily. Bartertown Toys and Collectibles, started as a pop-up store last December. It sells toys, collectibles, and comic books. As I walked in on a Friday afternoon my six-year-old was wide eyed. Staring gleefully at action figures, Star Wars paraphernalia, Sega and Nintendo games. Oh my gosh and comic books. My daughter also enjoyed the my little ponies and other treasures. There's something for everyone. Remember prices are marked at time of the store's appraisal of the item before being placed on the floor, so it's price may not reflect current market value trends. Just keep that in mind when shopping here. All in all the over all prices are usually fair or a steal if you know your stuff and have an eye for what you're looking for.

Overall, I've brought in dozen of items - once they took about a dozen Wicker boxes and bags and some other items - and six months later I got $20. Recently I brought in brand new and greatly taken care of yard tools. Some of the limb and tree trimmers were even in the box. They're probably $50-$100 new. The next week when I stopped in and noticed they were all gone. I asked for my payout. It was $50. Should have done Facebook market. Either they were pricing in these items obscenely low (although when I look to ship the prices or normal and even high) or fill in the blank yourself. The next week, I took in 2 boxes and a suitcase o clothes... the lady wasn't working and the man took the entire thing, including $100 suitcase that I brought only for transportation, but they said he would take it. I stopped in a week later, and the lady is still not there. The man tells me those weren't the type of clothes they were looking for and they donated that them all to Goodwill but could not provide me the receipt of donation. I could've probably sold it overtime on Poshmark for hundreds of dollars. These people are the worst.

But if you're in need of a totally one of a kind or colorful accessory for yourself or loved one-- Glassandro should be a store you stop in. Personally, I adore Murano glass jewelry. And this is one of the few brick and mortar shops I know of in the area that carries it. However, Glassandro is much more than glass jewelry -- it carries a wide variety of bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. There are semi-precious stones, alternative metals and meteorite jewelry. I was awestruck of the naturally expired butterfly wing jewelry. So, so beautiful and unique. Definitely worth the money and reversible to boot. (I guess I had never realized the back side of butterfly wings were darker for night cover and also stunning.) I bought a pair for my mom and she loved them as much as I had hoped she would. The staff was very friendly and really knew about all of the pieces in the store. Pricing seemed reasonable, especially because the jewelry that lives in this store is so darn different. And parking is a non-issue with the Old Capitol ramp. (First hour free!) Don't be a fool like me, check them out sooner than later!

The jewelry Glassando carries is gorgeous, high quality, unique, and best of all, reasonably priced. I've given pieces from here as gifts on multiple occasions now and they always delight. Most recently, I contacted the shop via their facebook and was able to order a couple special trunk show pieces, *with the trunk show discount*! I was not expecting to get that discount and it was a nice surprise. The associate I communicated with (I'm assuming she was the owner) was friendly, helpful, and patient. I received my order quickly. I love supporting small businesses and this is why. I love this shop and I'll shop here whenever I can!

While my purchase was being totaled there was a younger woman with long brownish hair badmouthing a customer who had called in to request information. I was appalled. Customers like this individual and myself keep your business in business!!! An employee, owner or manager should NEVER be badmouthing a customer in front of other customers!!! I have waited three weeks to post anything because I just don't like posting negative feedback but, I still have a really bad taste from my experience there. The entire time I was there this person was rude to the employees there and it was very offensive. I visit the Amana every so often and I always shop there however I have to say this visit will definitely be my last. I don't know if this woman was the manager or the owner but, she was definitely out-of-line in her behavior. I have worked in the retail business for several years and never ever would I have acted in such a manner. Yes, the shop was nice but, the behavior was terrible!!! Bad on you!!!
