We love the holiday shops at Bryant park and go at least once a year. We usually will do hot chocolate, fried pickles, walk around and stop by whichever shops are popular. We got the chicken schnitzel in pita bread from 12 chairs, which we highly recommend. I wasn't a big fan of the fried Greek cheese. Wanted to try the Dubai strawberry but the line was way too long. It is a fun experience, so many good food. Too bad it was pouring rain, so it was kinda hard to wait in line and not to be able to enjoy the food. Limited seating area. Nothing like shopping for Christmas presents on a cold crisp night with a cup of hot chocolate in hand and the bright lights of NYC above. There are multiple outdoors holiday pop up shops that appear each year but this one at Bryant Park is one of the biggest in a terrific setting. All types of vendors are here and if you're a foodie it definitely offers a diverse selection for any palate. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you're looking for but the quality is worth it. Take your time, and appetite, to explore each row of shops. We stumbled upon a few and picked up some thoughtful gifts. Better than shopping online or in a crowded retail chain store. Also, plenty of tables and chairs to take a rest, and clean bathrooms! read more

I love the holiday shops at Bryant Park. When they start setting this up in October, I get so excited for the holidays. All the lights, the booths and the skating rink really put me in the holiday spirit. I love how everyone just enjoys browsing and buying items for their loved ones. There's so many cute little booths with different foods to try from. I love sitting in front of the fountain or the rink and people watch. One of my favorite things about living in NYC! read more

It really wasn't as busy as I expected and I was really great ful to have such a variety of food and art so close by and accessible to explore. Four Stars because I've been coming here for years. I can't help it but it's starting to bore me. I really enjoy the atmosphere of Bryant Park, the Skating Rink and the Carousel. The Carousel is surrounded by all the vendors. In fact this event has grown to the point where I'm overwhelmed by the number of vendors. I believe this year was the least amount of time I spent looking around. It was cold the day I was there. I had a hard time finding anything reasonably priced. Everything they sell is beautiful. There's a huge selection if you're buying gifts. I'm sure I'll look forward to attending in 2020. If you're visiting NYC during the holidays I highly recommend. Bryant Park is wonderful. The Ice Skating is not as crowded as other rinks. It's a great experience. Bring cash and credit cards. Be prepared for crowds. A must for people that enjoy shopping. ENJOY! read more

Traveled to New York in early December and visited The Holiday Shops. The vendors in the park are decorated with a Christmas theme. It took a while to check out all the vendors, and there are also many vendors selling food and beverages. Where to start with one of my favorite city stops ! I have always loved the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping . For several years i have been going to Bryant Parks holiday shops and i plan on continuing this tradition . Yesterday was my second visit this year ! There is a large selection of things you would expect and then things you can't imagine . Jewlery . clothing , artwork , bags, candles, and so much more ! i believe prices are fair and if your a " haggler " ( which i'm not ) i'm sure they could be better ! Everybody i interacted with provided friendly service ! I always applaud and support small business owners . To top it off there is a huge variety of food stands , many offering free samples . If you're inclined there is even an ice skating rink there ! Never tried it but maybe next time ! And there will definitely be a next time !!! read more

My third year coming to the Bryant Park Holiday Shops. I love the holiday season and nothing is more festive than bundling up and walking around the Bryant Park Holiday Shops. Of all the holiday markets, this one is by far the best. There are a ton of vendors and the stalls are set up in a way that makes sense. You can easily walk around and see every single stall without having to backtrack. The walkways between the stalls are pretty wide, so even though it gets busy, it never feels too congested. You can't beat the views of the holiday market with the ice rink in the center and the high rises surrounding the park. The decorated and lit tree is impressive. Everyone seems happy. Yes, it's expensive, but that's expected. The food stalls are going to run up quite a tab if you try multiple places. The best things I had were the mozzarella sticks at Big Mozz, the truffle fries from Home Frite, and the flavored warm pretzels from Sigmund's. The one thing I regret not trying is the churros from a stand on the 42nd street side of the park. Lots of candles and socks and knit caps and gifts, as much as your wallet can handle. Avoid Squish Marshmallow. The s'mores was terrible (essentially just cold chocolate and marshmallow stacked inside two ginger squares). The rink is free if you bring your own ice skates. Otherwise, it's $20 to rent skates. I've never actually done it, but apparently lockers are also free, but you have to bring your own lock. read more

This year was the first time I went to the shops at Bryant Park for holiday shopping. I have been there twice in the last couple of weeks so I guess you can say I really enjoyed it. Holiday shopping can become a real drag going from one department store to another. I feel I have been there done that, nothing new and creative to purchase. The holiday market is nothing like that. I have been to Union Square and felt it was OK but Bryant park is far superior. The kiosks there are more diverse and creative. Local artisans, that is who I want to support. I did find that there were too many jewelry places for my taste, but that may just be me. I really can not get too specific at this point because I was very successful in my Holiday shopping but I did find some very different creative gifts for the people in my life. I hope they like receiving them as much as I enjoyed purchasing them. There were quite a few very interesting food vendors there but I did not partake. May be a third visit is in order???? read more

As part of my annual "holiday tour" (consisting of the Rockefeller tree, dep't store holiday windows, FAO Schwartz, etc, etc), I always head over to Bryant Park, visiting their holiday shops and dining/people watching at Celsius. Having frequented other holiday shops/kiosks (Union Square, Grand Central Terminal, South Street Seaport), I can say confidently that Bryant Park's are the best - in both variety and just the "quality" of the stores. While some of the other holiday shops are more like street fairs with cheap t-shirts and tacky jewelry, Bryant Park hosts several art galleries, (good) clothing and accessories, and all-important food options like TopArepa, Crepe Cafe, Max Brenner, Dough, Le Churreria, Vegetarian Oasis, Daisy's Grits, and Kettle Korn NYC. There have got to be around 100 or so stores there, which sometimes makes the walkways seem a bit cramped, but the facades/structures and the stores themselves have a nice quality feel to them. The Bryant Park holiday market is one of the nicer holiday markets that pop up in NYC this time of the year. Unlike the Union Square market witch has narrow crowded isles, the Bryant Park market is spread out and nicely arranged around the park's centrally located ice skating rink. There are many vendors selling a large variety of nick knacks, clothing and items for the home. There is an artist selling jewelry made from coins. Another artisan sold home made dog & cat wall clocks with wagging tails. As I mentioned in another review, I like supporting the work of artisans, being one myself. My wife purchased some truffle filled food items from a truffle vendor, and some tea from a tea and spice vendor. In addition to the skating rink there is a large centrally located indoor dining area where there is waiter service. There are also food kiosks where you can purchase food and snacks. The prices are not cheap for these eats but hey this is NY where nothing is cheap. I did manage to find a few gifts for family and friends and you will too. Tons of cute shopping and food stands. You can get everything from wall decor to vegan hot chocolate to spices. I stopped for falafel which was great. The only problem was that there was no where to eat it! they have little tables but they were all wet or taken. It's still a great place for tourists or locals, families or dates!! read more

Fun to shop, but super crowded on the weekends. Definitely go when you have time to spare as it'll take you a few hours to browse.

Super Mac + cheez was total garbage. Was it Kraft?! Why did I wait 7 minutes for you to heat it up & then serve it to me cold?! Nobody at the booth had any personality or cheer. Mac was $6, $8 or $10 & the only option you had was some lame topping & hot pepper...womp womp. I got the large & then threw it out after 4 bites. read more

This is a nice place to kill a couple of hours window shopping and sampling food. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat, I particularly like the Mediterranean booth that served wraps in homemade, grilled, thin, dough. The baklava was amazing- nutty and not too sweet as is often the case. You can find some unique gifts, but you'll have to sift through the common, "street fair" goods. Definitely make a loop before deciding on anything. read more

I love the Holiday shops!! So many little shops and some are really unique like this one that had figures made out of some sort of metal. oh! of course the different snack shops that are also there! Even if you don't have money or much to spend it's still fun to walk around and look at things. read more

Mini-Clocks shop at W19 -- EXCELLENT customer service!!! We came into the city for a holiday visit and our girls shopped at Bryant Park. They each got a mini-clock necklace from Yunka International. When we got home (3+ hours away) one noticed that the locket wasn't staying closed. It wasn't latching shut. The following day, I took a couple of pictures of it and sent an email to the company. They responded with a couple of hours and said they would send out a replacement. I doubted that I would even get a response!!! The replacement necklace was identical to the one we purchased and arrived a few days later. She loves it and it was her birthday present so it meant a lot that this company stood by its product and took immediate action. They had beautiful things, very unique and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend. read more
