This place is one giant Insta-scam. Trust me, the dresses you see on IG are NOT the ones you will receive. Puffy paint thrown all over the dress like a spiderweb. Funny thing about places that don't take returns or exchanges - THERE'S A REASON!!! The attached pictures were supposed to be for a white dress. Ordered a $249 dress to wear out for my birthday. I paid an additional $29 for overnight shipping. I specifically asked Destiny about returns and she never specified that they only offer store credit and no refunds. I never received my order confirmation even thought I requested it 3 times. After several emails I did receive the order # and tracking #. The dress is HORRIBLE QUALITY. Looks like a middle school student made it. How could anyone possibly charge $249 for a dress made with puffy paint?! Destiny's response, "Well our dresses are handmade. Celebrities wear our dresses." I had a great experience ordering my dress from Holt. I was a little hesitant with purchasing a dress online but I just had to have it. After placing the order it took about 4 days for the dress to arrive, but once it did though beautiful it did not fit heartbroken, i called the next day to see if they can help and a representative explained they can make a larger size at an additional cost. I called last week to verify they were open to the public and the girl on the phone said yes and I even verified with her that they will be opened on Monday. When I got there, the store was closed. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I never write bad reviews about companies, but my experience with The Holt Store was so horrific I wanted others to be aware! I purchased a dress from the Holt Store online for $440. I thought I would splurge a little since I was going to wear it to Vegas! When I received 2 weeks later I was surprised how cheaply made the dress was sold at such a high price! Typically I am a size small, but with the type of material the dress was made out of (some netting nylon material) with the bubbly paint design on the front the dress was so tight and short I decided to send it back and get a larger size. I sent it back with over two weeks to go before my trip. After a week after I received confirmation of receipt from the post office I still hadn't heard or gotten anything back from the Holt Store, so I called. The girl was rude on the phone making up all these excuses about them moving and I told her I only had a few more days until my trip. She said they didn't have anymore dresses in the color I wanted so she gave me a choice of two other colors in medium which I didn't really like, but I was desperate since my trip was around the corner. She then proceeded to tell me I had to pay 50 additional dollars to ship 2nd day shipping even though they were the ones that sat on my exchange for over a week! When I received the second dress it was equally as short as the first even though it was a medium. I had no dress for my trip and I was out over $500 with the original dress purchase and the two post ages it had to pay! After the second go around I was over it. I just sent the dress back without calling this time and I got a call immediately after they received this time. The girl that called me actually lectured me that I was supposed to call and get a return confirmation number first before returning and that I should know better because I had already been through the process once before. I couldn't believe it! She was actually scolding me! I told her that I only called the first time because I needed it in a hurry, not because I knew that that's what their specific policy was. Nevertheless I was the bigger person, i apologized and said that I was unaware of this policy and that I just wanted a refund because their dresses clearly we're not going to fit my body correctly. She basically refused and said that I was passed the cutoff period. I asked her to have the manager or owner call me and of course no call was ever received! I ordered from this website on Monday, December 28th. Because I wanted the dress in time for New Years, I paid a 2 day express shipping fee of $48. After ordering my dress I received a confirmation email and then about 2 hours later I received an email saying my order was shipped. This morning, I looked at my confirmation email and checked UPS to see when my dress would be arriving today, and instead of a Wednesday, December 30th arrival date, it changed to Monday, January 4th... a whole week later. I then emailed The Holt Store letting them know about this and that I expected a full refund. The gal told me (word for word): "Dear, We talked to UPS and they said that the dress was going to be delivered today. It is out of our control once it leaves our facility. We sent your order with the correct shipping, UPS said they were delayed on their orders. We want to apologize for this if you happen not to receive your dress in time for new years. We sent it out UPS so it would be received faster." I then contacted UPS and let them know that I wanted a refund since they are not delivering my package in time. After speaking with UPS, they told me that they didn't receive the package until today, December 30th. So basically you lied to me when you told me that my dress was "shipped" out on Monday. I have been emailing you back and forth waiting for a response and for someone to refund my money, but I haven't received anything. Oh well, I have no problem disputing the charge. The dress is significantly different than what is shown on the website . They refuse a refund , exchange etc . They actually encouraged me to call my credit card company to disputed the charge . I am disappointed with the online services. i ordered the Livia Sequin Black dress on 2/9/17 and paid an express delivery this was supposed the Valentines gift for my wife, the dress never arrived. I contacted customer service on Thursday February 16 and spoke with one of the CS representatives she told me the dress was never shipped and she did not have an answer for that and will open an investigation; however they charged my credit card immediately. Today is February 20 and still not received the dress, no apologies or explanations at all this company not only ruined my Valentines day surprise for my wife but also causing me inconvenience. I am extremely upset and disappointed with this company. I placed an order on Monday, called to confirm my purchase and shipment date and was informed that it would take 48 hrs for the dresses to be made or I can cxl the order within 24hrs. Upon being assured that the dresses would be completed and shipped on Wednesday of that same week, I agreed to keep my purchase and paid for 2day shipping so that I would receive my 3 dresses on Friday as I was leaving on Monday for vacation and wanted to have the dresses for my trip. I did not receive a shipping confirmation on Wednesday at all and when I called thursday morning I was told my dresses were not shipped out and they werent sure why because they were ready. The female who I spoke with said she has the dresses and will ship it overnight to ensure I get them on friday....yesterday was Friday and I did not receive my dresses. I waited all day today, Saturday, and did not receive my order. Its now Sunday and there are no deliveries on this day. I leave at 5am on Monday morning and will be gone for 8 days. I will not be able to use the dresses that I paid almost $500 for. I am very upset and find this company unprofessional and unreliable. Holt was fast to take my payment and additional payment for expediting the shipping but were unable to produce the goods, or their part of the transaction. In addition I have been unable to get in contact with anyone from Holt to make my complaint and find out where my order is and what happened. Again, I am extremely upset, disappointed and angry. I would advice anyone ordering from this store to be very careful. I had purchase from the Vegas location before and they were great, so I felt I would have the same experience at this location but it wasn't so. The dress I ordered didn't arrived in the best conditions so asked to exchange it or get credit, the "manager" was rude and not very helpful, I personally asked her for instructions on how to return the dress, which I followed but gave me the wrong instructions. I even called her from the post office to verify I was doing it right, she seemed annoyed but I did what she said. Now My dress has been wondering around for close to a month now and she wouldn't even speak to me on the phone, instead the poor receptionist was the middle person. As of right now, I am still waiting to see the outcome of this situation and will definitely update it. I ordered a dress on Saturday Dec 12th to celebrate my birthday on Saturday the 19th. I paid extra for 3 day priority shipping so that I could receive it by no later than Thursday. The company didn't ship my dress out until Tuesday the 15th and when I tracked the package the expected deliver date was on the 19th. I called the company to get reimbursed for the expedited shipping being that shipping was free in the US and I paid extra for nothing. Instead of rectifying the situation by just reimbursing me the cost of shipping, Elisea Fenster told me that she would not only refund me all of my money for the dress, as well as stop the dress from being shipped to me, but will also block me entirely from ordering from the site ever again.... did i just hear her correctly ? yes. Apparently the store has an over flowing abundance of money where they feel they can turn down paying customers. To top it all off she never cancelled the delivery of the dress and I didn't receive the dress until the 21st! The quality of the dress was beyond cheap for the price!!!
