Well, luckily for me directly across the street, Charming Charlie was open. My oldest daughter is very familiar with them since they were known as Icing's rival store. (My daughter used to work with Icing.) We were welcomed at the door by one of the employees who was very helpful showing us, by pointing, what all of the departments had in them. I asked her (jokingly) if they had something to do with Icing closing their doors, she just shrugged as if to say, Icing who? I quickly left it alone. I wanted to browse the store, not cause any trouble. Lol! After searching I found the perfect earrings, necklace, and dainty but elegant bracelet, which got a few compliments at my event. All very affordable and stylish pieces that I was happy to find. My daughter bought a bag that was perfect for traveling. At checkout we were encouraged to sign-up for emails about promotions and online offers. I just took advantage of their 'Cyber Monday' sale and bought gifts for my friends for the holidays. HOLY CRAP!!! Needless to say, we opted not to get anything because we didn't find anything we loved. All good. Each year I find myself impressed with the details and how terrifying those lifelike animatronics become. I don't stare too long at them because of that very reason haha. The selection of costumes was almost endless as well as the accessories. I found that there was a lot of new and interesting costumes/items this year. l returned with my vehicle due to concerns about the window tint quality. This was not the first…read moreissue -- the shop had already redone the opposite side earlier for the same problem. Instead of handling the follow-up professionally, the manager became very confrontational. He raised his voice and told me I was "out of bounds" for pointing out visible issues, saying that "no one looks that closely at tint." When I calmly asked him to stop yelling, the manager stormed inside, came back with the contract, and argued about a supposed 5% tolerance. He then used profanity and told me to never come back to the store -- all of this happened in front of another customer, who commented that the behavior was inappropriate. To be fair, the tint was eventually redone and now looks much better. However, having the same issue occur twice and then being yelled at and cursed at by a manager is unacceptable. Quality work matters, but professionalism matters just as much.

The security alert buzzer went off a few times during my shopping expedition. They offered clearance deals for many clothing items but alot of the exercise accessory shelves were almost bare and difficult to locate the price tags. Sadly a majority of the inventory on the racks and shelves were in complete disarray - either in piles, hanging off, or sprawled out on the floor (See Pics). I noticed an employee stocking inventory, although would require many more to clean up the mess.
