Awful service. Horrifically expensive merchandise. Unknowledgeable workers. How do they stay in business?

I had a service appointment to get my washer checked out( I booked through the Whirlpool online portal). Accidentally, I selected the wrong address, so I take total accountability for that. I proceeded to call the company to explain what happened and to see if I could still get serviced( My appointment was from 3-5. I called around 3:40 because I never received a call informing me someone was on the way). The owner explained that the technician was unavailable for the day and that the service would have to be performed the following week. My mom called back to see why if we were still within our allotted service time range, and the owner got an attitude with her and said, 'You've called me four times already and hung up. She called back, and he proceeded to send her to voicemail. My mom and I have very similar numbers, but that's beside the point. It was very unprofessional to yell at a paying customer, and if that's how he handles business, if I were a new customer, I would take my money elsewhere.

The best part: we had an electrical issue with our fuse box upon installation. They knew of an electrician in the area who was able to turn up on the spot and take care of it for a nominal fee. So pleased with the personal service and quality and happy to do business with a local family-owned company after bad experiences with big box stores.

You may be waiting for a while depending on how busy they are, however, it works for me. Place your order, park, notify, wait. The in store experience isn't bad for those that want to go in. Typically lots of associates and you can see how the electronic work and look up close and personal.

I received a text from Best Buy stating there was an issue with one of my three large orders…read more Two of the orders included multiple TVs, mounts, hardware, and installation services. The third order included two refrigerators and a set of individually colored panels, totaling around 12 line items. When I logged into my account, there was no indication that anything was wrong with any of the orders. I chatted with support, but all they could provide were the scheduled delivery dates -- no real answers. I decided to leave it alone and checked again about a week later. Everything still showed as "good." Since I needed to reschedule the delivery dates anyway, I was able to reschedule the first two orders without issue. However, when trying to move the third order (the refrigerators), I found I could not reschedule it at all. I contacted support again. The first rep once again could only tell me the scheduled delivery dates -- no explanation. I requested a transfer to someone else. The second rep, when trying to move the fridge order, discovered the order had already been canceled, even though nothing in my account showed any sign of it being canceled. No email, no notice, nothing. The agent then had to manually cancel each individual line item from the order, which took over 20 minutes. (The system was running extremely slow -- for example, when I tried rescheduling, each time I clicked to change a month it took 25+ seconds to load.) After over an hour online: We successfully rescheduled two orders. One order (the refrigerators) was confirmed canceled -- but only because I intervened. Otherwise, I would have sat around waiting for expensive appliances I paid for that were never coming, with no communication or warning from Best Buy. Today, I went back into my account to double-check everything -- and now it's showing part of my orders scheduled for the correct new date, and other parts still stuck on the old, wrong date we just changed. Now I'm forced to go into the store to try to fix this in person -- and based on past experience, that's usually even worse. You typically get young kids who barely know the system, looking at you like you're crazy for expecting them to actually make an effort to fix anything. For a global company, this is a completely inadequate system. It's unacceptable that a customer has to dig, chase, escalate, and physically go to a store just to get basic information and support. Best Buy seriously needs to fix their customer communication, their system performance, and the attitude in their stores.

He helped me understand what type of concrete is best for different applications, and he helped me load four 60-pound bags of concrete mix onto my cart. Thank you, Tim! One recommendation for the store manager: please make sure the bags of concrete mix are shifted to the front of the shelf! Tim and I had to stretch and pull and lift those heavy bags from the back of the shelving unit. No easy task!

Found all my supplies paid for them at the register. Ask the cashier if there was someone that could cut it for me. He called over the intercom for a lumber assault, He was told that he was on break and would be back in five minutes. I went back to the cutting area in lumber. There was a young lady standing there that I had seen waiting there while I was shopping for an hour. Found out she'd been waiting for the same person when I saw her waiting. It took thirty to forty more minutes and two more calls over income before an associate came to cut the plywood in half. He had an obvious attitude about it didn't matter. I just need my wood cut so I can get home. He grabbed the wood. Put it in placebut before that, he grabbed a tape measure and went through the motions of measuring halfway. But when I got home , I realized it wasn't exactly half wheels like a five inch difference. Luckily for me, I didn't needed to be exact. I just needed it be in half so I could get it in the car. But my big thing is what if I didn't need It cut in half and his anger and being a smart a** He's just gonna cut it any size he wants it and then hand it to me as if it's cut in half. I worked in a hardware store myself and constantly constantly disappointed in the lack of customer service I find in today's hardware stores and stores in general. I also am ex store manager for companies like Walmart. Fresh and Easy Grocery store and Famous Footwear Shoe Store. I know you can do better than this.

We tried both HD and Lowe's, but neither have any brand name dryers in stock. The clerk at Lowe's suggested Conns, so we tried it. Glad we did! They had what we needed and we could pick it up the next day. We wanted a Samsung front loading machine that would fit on a base we already had. They no longer have the platinum color, but the black will be close enough. We couldn't take it with us because no one there could take it off the base. I returned the next day. They got someone to remove th dryer from the base, but kept the dryer pieces needed to install on our base at home. We used the parts off the old dryer and made it work. *********. Word of warning though..we will not get an owners manual or owners registration card. It took a bit of work to get a warranty since the dryer was 2 years old. Samsung would not let us register it online. I had to call the 1-800 number and get the warranty registration completed.

I did see an area with hand sanitizer and they require their customers to wear masks. They also wear masks. They have plenty of employees walking around to help customers. I did think some of their items were overpriced. However, I really liked the layout of the store. They also seem to provide financing for customers who want to pay over time. They offered me a flyer that mentioned their financing plans, along with an ad when I first walked in. We were instantly greeted. We were a little thrown off at first because the employee asked what we were looking for. I spoke up and told her that we were just looking for random decor for our home. So, the employee handed me the ad and financing paper and totally disregarded my sister (who was prepared to purchase something). That kind of left a sour taste in our mouth. But, we continued to browse around. The items were nice but it kind of reminded me of a rent to own type place. They have a lot of items, as the store is really huge and in a good location. It just wasn't my cup of tea.
