Pepper Palace sells hot sauces. The place is clean and decently laid out and there is plenty of parking. It is also just off of Interstate 20. I was here on a Wednesday afternoon about four thirty in the afternoon and it was not overly busy. Like most outlets, there are some decent bargains and some items that you might as well buy in any mall. All in all, this is a good place to go see if you see anything that you never knew that you needed but now you can't live without.

Back then, just like now, no one made you feel unwelcome. But what I love about this place is the selection of stores. The stores back then and some now were uniquely owned. Therefore, you bought items that you didn't see a zillion people wearing. My favorite store has always been Maison Weiss; it's still here. I remember wanting a 200 dollar belt. I saved my little coins and got it, and added a bracelet. But I also loved and still love the restaurants and the open courtyards. I see they have added Whole Foods, LuluLemon, Free People, a Wine Bar, and some more stores, like Kendra Scott. I can say this place still holds its charm, and probably will forever. I know for me it will always have a place in my heart.

I needed some topsoil and some bushes to replace some in my front yard that was damaged. I found what I needed quickly in the outdoor plant department. When I paid for the items I indicated to the cashier that I needed some bags of the topsoil. She rang up and said to take the receipt to one of the employees out front. They even loaded the car for me. Every employee was courteous and helpful. I would recommend this store for all your home improvement needs. read more

Everything is nicely organized on the shelves. Very well lit. I don't know a whole lot about prices for tools because that's just not something I've purchased a lot of in my lifetime. I do know the prices must be pretty decent and on par with other prices at other stores, otherwise my daddy wouldn't shop here... especially as often as he does. I would have given this store 4 stars, but every time I have been in here, there's been a group of teenage employees at the front of the store standing around together talking and laughing. It may not bother me as much if it weren't for the fact that when we walk in the door, they stop, stare at us for a few moments, then start laughing and talking again. WTF is up with that?!

I know they cook up some food from time to time so off I went for lunch. They had quite a bit of food prepared but perhaps because it was Super Bowl day today a lot of the stuff was cleaned out. They offered a $7 two-piece dark meat chicken meal with two sides.. I went for it. There was a choice of fried chicken or grilled. I went with grilled. They offer you a choice of sides. This was very limiting so I went with the green beans and greens. Had no idea what "greens" are but the woman behind the counter said they were good. After tasting them, my opinion of them was "meh". Not to throw all greens under the bus, but these were nothing to go back and get more of. The chicken was pretty dry and the pieces were pretty small. The highlight of the meal were the green beans. Good for healthy eating but not good when that was basically the best of all in the meal.

Generally speaking, I am not a fan of off-brand sodas, but Kroger brand sodas are actually pretty good. Hubby and I both like the Big K (which is like Coke), the Citrus Drop (which is like Mountain Dew), and the orange flavour. When we visit MS, we always head to Kroger and grab about six-eight 24 packs and bring the back to FL with us. Hey, they're a lot cheaper and they are really good! Don't judge! :D I also really like the Kroger brand smooth honey peanut butter. I always stock up on that too. I really wish we Kroger here in FL, but alas, we do not. Believe it or not, they also have some pretty awesome florists inside this grocery. I have been amazed at some of the displays I have seen and you can get them much cheaper than if you went to an actual florist. So if you're looking for flowers for your lady, stop here. The parking lot is also kept very clean and carts are kept in check. it's a nice area of town, so even in the middle of the night I feel safe. They also have their own gas station in front of the store. There's a Kroger Rewards Card and if you spend x number of dollars you get x amount off per gallon. It's a good deal and I'm sure I'd know more about the exact numbers if I lived here. Definitely check it out.
