We've ordered some stuff during Black Friday from Home Depot, and have been trying to get them to deliver within our delivery window. 4 days in a row they kept trying to deliver at 630am, and time and time again we've called the number provided to let them know that we aren't here. They're huge pieces, so I need it to go straight to the shop, we also only have two seater cars, so cannot transport these pieces. Today I called the Brandon Home Depot store, spoke to the service desk manager. Within a few minutes she said I found it "I'm bringing it by!" Found out her name was Mrs. Barbara. She was actually coming by on her own personal time after getting off of work to personally deliver these packages to me. She has no idea how much this is appreciated! Associates are less than willing to help you. When they do and can't figure it out they tell you to go to wal-mart. Had an interaction with Olivia tonight and she informed me I should just go to wal-mart and got verbally aggressive with me. Found a manager and the manager found the product I needed (not in the correct location) HD should not have employees in customer facing roles when they obviously do not care or want to dela with people. Went to the self checkout today and there was a lady checking out and an employee who didn't seem to care about what she was doing but I walked over to a terminal and she hovered over me like I was trying to take something. Sorry I was in my pj's because I was sick today. I just ignored her until the end when she asked if I was gonna scan my concrete or did I want her to do it even though it was the 1st thing I scanned but she wasn't to me yet. I didn't have the best experience at Home Depot this visit, however the associates and the store manager did not stop until they were able to resolve the problem. Once the store manager figured out the problem he was able to return the defective items and I was on my way. read more

I've never been to a Home Depot this lazy. There are a bunch of people walking around, but none of them work in the department you need help in. A vendor working in the back called twice for help for us to no avail, and also a Home Depot worker called as well with no response, and she never came back to check. After 30 minutes we figured out what we needed ourselves. The vendor saw us at the front of the store and asked had we gotten help and I told him no, he apologized, but none of the actual Home Depot employees seemed to care. The girl working self check out looked right at us with glazed over eyes and did not utter a word. They have a decent variety of products, but their customer service skills suck. They need to just start over with better employees that actually appreciate having a job. read more

So sick and tired of getting a different story about military and veterans discounts when I check out. Get it together Home Depot, either you support the military or you don't. And FYI whenever you make your decision, do us all a favor and inform your cashiers. I showed my ID to one of them at the contractors check out and she told me that it wasn't a real military ID. We have purchased different appliances building materials,etc from Home Dept for years, We went in yesterday talked to Alexa in appliance dept, who was the manager. We purchased over 2 thousand dollars in appliances. I asked at least three different times if we would get our military discount and the 24 months same as cash. She repeatedly assured me that we would. They ordered the appliances in that dept and sent us to customer services to pay. Guess what no military discount "wrong kind of military card" this was after using it twice last in same store. No 24 same as cash, as per store manager "no promo at this time" did manage to get a appliance promotional discount of some sort. Guess what Home Depot that thousands of dollars we were going to spend there for new kitchen cabinets we will instead purchase at Lowe's where there is no question that we will get our discount. If I could give no stars I would! Know how they claim to honor competitors advertised deals and specials?? NOT TRUE! We purchased 2 appliances at Home Depot before Christmas from Marion our salesperson. At the time, Lowes was offering the refrigerator we were purchasing with a free ice maker. Marian told us that they would honor that and we would receive a free ice maker with the purchase of our refrigerator. He even went so far as to supposedly getting authorization from management. He even gave us an extra $120 off saying it was magic and that apparently the price has been lowered even more. They stated that our appliances would be here December 26. They were not. Come to find out they hadn't even been shipped. We were not even notified the say had been sitting in Home Depot's warehouse waiting for us to pick them up we had no idea they were there we had never been notified. I had to call Marian just to find out if they were even there and when could we expect our appliances that we had purchased three weeks before. After a month we finally get our appliances and guess what was missing? The icemaker!! When I called to ask about this I was told by the manager that they don't get freebies. I tried to explain to her that this was not a freebie this was part of a deal that Lowes had and that Marion had said that you would honor but to no avail! I was told by Annette, one of the managers on duty you're not gonna get it. Apparently there have been a misunderstanding somewhere or a miscommunication of sorts . So I proceed to go up there hoping Marian could help me since this was his deal and he had made money off of us. He looks me straight in the eye and LIES and tells me that the $120 that was in his words magic and that they had already they had discounted again what's the actual icemaker and I would have to buy one and he would be happy to order it for me and take my money. I told him that was not the deal that was never communicated to us there was no miscommunication he had stated that per his manager we got a free icemaker with our whirlpool refrigerator. I specifically asked him am I going to get my icemaker that you promised me are you going to live up to your word - his answer was sorry no I'll be happy to order it for you and that'll be an additional hundred dollars. These guys will say anything to get your money!! Please go anywhere but here! You will regret doing business with this Home Depot! They don't give a damn about their customers and their customer service sucks! read more
