As far as Home Depots go, this place has everything you would expect to find. One major difference is that they don't have a lumber yard or any wood available. The "lumber" section is entirely missing. Probably because everything out here is made of cement and metal. They've got just about everything else though. Given that it is in Mexico however, the offerings are pretty amazing in comparison to all the other shops that are available. It is kept super clean and seems to be well maintained. There is a private lot so parking isn't a concern. Since the entire Los Cabos area is undergoing a construction boom, it has plenty of business and has been packed the few times I've been there. If you need a tool or any other home improvement stuff, this place is going to be your best bet! read more
Got to the Southern tip of Baja California Sur in 90 deg weather before Thanksgiving and sure enough Home Depot had their Christmas goods out and ready for the Holidays. This store in Cabo is similar to H.D. in the U.S. There are some items missing like no furnace or AC filters. For the most part though it's all here for your home repairs including tools and garden supplies. Building supplies are different due to less lumber being used than in the U.S.A. Definitely stop in. read more

I highly recommend researching your needs on the Home Depot website where you can choose this particular store - it will tell you what's available right now. The shipping charges are exorbitant, though' and if you need a lot, it's better to just go yourself. The tile selection here would be impressive in the states and there are some truly beautiful options. No wood flooring, but tile replicas which are quite good. Huge selection of lighting from $10 USD for simple LED's to fancy and expensive chandeliers. There are security systems, closet systems (very welcome in the land of concrete block) and even... BATH TUBS! Jetted, too. Various power tools at different grades of quality, doors, nice plumbing fixtures. Good selection of appliances and prices were FAR cheaper on them than I found at Coppel and other stores in Santa Rosalia & Loreto. Wasn't blown away by the kitchen counter selection which is pressboard & Formica, much better to pour & tile concrete counters. Employees in the aisles are polite, but many won't have too much English and some are shy of Americans. They will get someone for you if necessary, but you might download a translator or write your specs en Espanol before coming in. 2 men loaded my truck for me and did it exactly as I wanted without complaint at the persnicketyness (near 4,000 lbs of tile & goods, I wanted it done right) and they got a good tip. I drive 350 miles one way to get here and it is worth every inch. After 3 years in a tiny rural town, I walked around for 4 hours mooning over the selection before returning the next day to buy. I will definitely be back; am so glad to have this amazing resource. read more
