Little to no animatronics for Christmas season, or they have been picked over being they set up for Christmas in August! An isle of blow ups as well, but not much for Black Friday sales as far as decorations go. I did score one of the red giant bulbs for $24.95 sale, and customer service assisted me with an online order for a green giant bulbs at another HD location. All energizer batteries part of sale as well. $18.95 for 30 packs! I used assisted self check out, and was offered $50 off purchase with CC application. Do not order anything that requires them sending someone to you. After their door measuring person never arrived months ago after I paid for them, I gave them another chance. Ordered a fridge for my 86 year old father. Took the day off. Got up at 5am, cleared out the old fridge. Waited 13 hours. They called and said there was too much snow on their wipers to deliver. They rescheduled. I took another day off the following week. Went out and shoveled and salted the driveway near the door. They showed up, stayed in their truck, never got out to look at the side doors that were cleared for them to get in and out. I walked out to them in my slippers because there was so little snow. They took a picture of the snow filled front yard and door, which was not the delivery door, so they could claim that they couldn't get to the door. I told them if they gave me three minutes, I could have the tiny bit of snow that landed in front of the delivery door (60 feet away from their truck that they never looked at). They rolled up their window and drove away, canceling the delivery. 20 minutes before they arrived, doordash pulled up in a small, 2 wheel drive car, and delivered to the door I had set up for delivery receipt. I called the store. The manager took my door and said she would call the delivery company amd get back to me. I called back 20 minutes later to find out she went to lunch instead of calling them. I called corporate. After 25 minutes, they told me that the drivers already left and they couldn't deliver it. I canceled the order, and now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back so I can order one from Best Buy and hope that it gets here before Christmas. Terrible customer service. Pathetic delivery company that they contract with. Would not recommend. read more

And this is my first time in the home Depot in Cicero New York and I couldn't be more disgusted I've never been treated the way I was just traded well ever I am a combat decorated retired Marine a licensed general contractor in five states. I do construction for people who can't afford it and housing for veterans in need which is what brings me here this time I walked in at 6:30 just looking to grab half inch shark bites push to female because when I sent the guys to pick them up they just got pushed to pushed couplings and that's not going to work for the mixing valve. So this is a contractor pack unopened yes it had some over spray on it but I wiped that off I didn't want to return it I just wanted store credit now I've walked in the door this guy no hello no smile no high no nothing and I'm like hi I just need to get the right the right four pack that's not the right four pack any proceed to tell me that I have to return it no I don't have to return it store credit score that's all I needed I was getting the stuff so in any other home Depot when you walk in like that and you're in a hurry and they have no other gas or s*** even just because it's a waste of time to stand there as like okay well I'll leave the city I'm going to go get the rest of the stuff I need well no we need to handle the return first anybody who knows anything about home Depot knows there's a major difference between returning something and store credit you've got store credit when you do not have a receipt I did have a receipt I also said two huge envelopes full of receipts for my projects and it just wasn't worth going through all that instead of just store giving me store credit which is what I asked for right as I went to go pick up my $200 worth of other product when I come back up to the desk he's clearly annoyed and mind you no customers so I put all the stuff on the counter and I go we good because now we still have to return this but you couldn't say yeah again I wasn't trying to return it just store credit towards the right fit you proceeds to tell me do I need to go find the receipt no I don't for store credit so instead I got the person on the phone who purchased the pieces on their home Depot credit card to read him the number so he could look them up I can't do that over the phone another lie,!!!!!!!; if you can do phone orders and take credit card numbers over the phone to pay for things then you can take a credit card number over the phone to prove that I bought something before you give me store credit even though that's not required so instead he tells me he can't do that over the phone then ask me for my ID which again I didn't buy the pieces one of my donors did my non-profit again I don't take money from people ever so rather he scanned my idea for return now of course I didn't buy the thing so it's not going to have my ID on it and I'm from Boston so now and it was bought more than 30 days ago so now my ID has a hit some type of hit on it for returns which again is never happened this guy proceeds to give me an attitude well it's the same thing return credit no no it's not as the receipt you just put in my hand clearly state I go to store credited without an idea receipt so this guy just persists to continue to give me an attitude no idea why so I just I can't believe the way I was just traded at home Depot and might have a multi-million dollar account but that shouldn't matter if you don't know what your policies are well you're bitching at someone about not being able to return something they weren't trying to return while putting a receipt in their hand that reads and I quote store credit would be your best bet which is all I wanted from the beginning so he got to put this receipt in my hand and make himself feel big by saying yeah I can't return this you I can't like I bought $200 worth of stuff on top of taking back was treated like s*** in front of another customer well you know what home Depot shame on you I'm a combat decorated Marine that does construction for veterans who can't afford it. Why order online to wait in a line and not be greeted. ??? Ordered online and arrived at the store and the line was out the door. Employees looked at me 3 or 4 times and never said I will be with you shortly. Not sure what they are trying to accomplish. They never have anyone at the returns line anymore. So that's right all the returns wait in the online pickup line. If they just seperate the lines into a return and a online it would probably fix this issue. I think the staff need to be trained in customer service . I understand they are busy and it was not their choice to have only one line for both online pickup and returns but a retail employee should always greet a new face in a line. Do not buy your appliances here! I have been with out a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks now. First they were out of stock. I didn't get the refrigerator I wanted because that would be out of stock for 2 months! I settled on one coming in two weeks, for twice as much. The day they were going to deliver they never showed or called. I was watching them on the app, it said you are next, then went ghost. They were scheduled for Saturday. I could not talk to someone until Monday! I called the main office they told that I didn't answer my phone! Now I can not get it for a week because of the delivery company they use had issues. That is NOT my issue that the delivery company had issues! I am still with out a refrigerator and I have to feed a 7 year old! I called Home Depot's manager but he said a lot of people are in the same predicament! I am sure that not everyone is without a essential appliance. The company could have organized their schedule but they did not! I will NEVER buy an appliance from them again! read more

Don't use them to remodel your kitchen etc. We had a lot of problems with the store personnel. From ordering the wrong cabinet(s) -multiple times... to down right rudeness when I called to complain. A 'design consultant' Gary Bippus should have been fired by the way he spoke to me. read more

My wife and I decided that it was time for a new gas grill. After checking out reviews and different sales online we decided to go to Home Depot and purchase our new grill along with he's an old mulch and other home supplies for the summer season. We live in East Syracuse and chose to drive to the Cicero location because they showed a better inventory online of the grill we were looking at. We arrived to the Home Depot in Cicero at 7:15 p.m. on Friday June 26th never once greeted by any staff we looked at all the grills first then made our way to the garden center where we picked up our yard supplies. After loading our yard supplies we made our way back to the grill section and made a final decision on which grill we would like. Still no employees have spoken to us or asked us if we needed any assistance at that point I went up to the service counter and asked if we could get some help to purchase a grill. One of the two young ladies at the desk said she would have somebody to assist us momentarily. We went back to the grill section and picked out some accessories and other products that we were going to purchase at that time to employees past us and I said oh thank you we are waiting for you to give us a hand one of them was on the phone and said ok I did not know you needed assistance we will be with you in a few minutes the other older gentleman just continued walking and did not pay any attention. So I made one more attempt going up to the service desk asking for assistance again the young lady said I made the call I don't know why no one has answered someone should be with you shortly. I walk back to the grill section one more time and waited another minute or so. Feeling like no one wanted to assist us are large purchase my wife and I decided that we would take our business elsewhere. On our way to the parking lot passing the service desk one more time I asked the lady if they had a Staffing problem because no one has helped us yet. We left without making any purchase and no one ever attempted to assist us in any way shape or form horrible customer service do not recommend ever going to the store I would be very interested to talk to the store manager. read more
