On September 3rd the owner called, very apologetic and assured me it was all their fault and they would make it right for me the following week. It is now September 23rd, 20 days later and AGAIN... no call, no show. How incredibly disrespectful! We had to call GE to send out a technician who came and addressed our issue. Integrity matters. The salesman asked my budget (this can sometimes be a trap) but I sensed his sincerity and said around $800. He steered me to the KitchenAid, rated quieter than Bosch, the rack set up was better, and it has the third rack in the top. I made the purchase and was on my way in about 20 minutes, spending less than $1000 for the dishwasher, tax, delivery, installation, and haul away the old one. We have used it for about two weeks and this unit is superior. I am ecstatic with the quiet operation, flexible loading, and the third rack for flatware is great! It took a little while for the unit to be stocked and delivered, but installation went flawlessly.
