Stacy in garden center brow beat me today because I was buying a variegated yucca plant. I shopped here regularly. But after today I will spend my money else where. She harassed me and kept telling me it was going to get to big and I wasn't going to be able to manage it. wouldn't stop. It was weird. I just bit my lip and purchased any ways. I called for information and no one ever answers the phone. I sat here for over an hour and a half being tossed back and forth between different areas. I finally got someone and asked if I could get some info on a product and i was told that if I wanted info i should go there in person and see for myself. I've been in the store many times before and there are a few good people, but the majority don't want to be bothered. They blank stare you and walk away. So this is what we woke up too. No knock on the door. No call. I walked outside and a black SUV is in front of house and some guy is making his best EFFORT to stack these windows. The Home Depot Florence SC would not let us pick them up. apparently somebody has not warned them about strange vehicles and Country folk. We are getting ready to remodel an entire home. I contacted Kristen at the Florence store for cabinet pricing. Explained exactly what I needed, all straight run base cabinets and requested pricing. I was told that she needed an installer to come out and measure at a cost of $129 because she needed to know where the windows and doors are. There are no upper cabinets to interfere with windows, no doors to interfere with others, There are two straight walls and an island. I explained that I do not need an installer, I know exactly what I need, I am installing on my own, and was told that she cannot help me. Not only have they lost the sale of about 10K in cabinetry, they've lost the sale for all of our appliances, home generator, windows, etc. This has always been the worst store possible when it comes to purchasing anything over $400. read more

Had a terrible experience at this particular store trying to purchase kitchen cabinets . I explained and displayed a diagram to a gentleman named. MICAH he did not appear to be customer service oriented I explained to him that I needed bottom cabinets and top cabinets for my. project he picked out two bottom cabinets and forgot the two upper. cabinets for my kitchen project. So assumed that I HAD all parts that. I needed for my project. When I got home opened the boxes , Mr MICAH was in a hurry to go to lunch as I recall customer service. was not on his mind. These are photos of the rusted grill for sale for $199 at The Home Depot. You can see that they have another grill for the same price with no rust. Not a good practice to sell "new" products in very poor condition to Florence customers. Florence customers expect better products. read more

Home Depot is always my go to home improvement store in Florence SC. Team members are always willing to help and courteous. Prices can be sometimes on the higher end on some things, but never had issues getting prices matched. read more

The team at this location is always extremely helpful; today more so than others. Shawana truly went above and beyond to ensure we got the dryer we wanted (in a decent timeframe). She went over all of its specs, parts needed and the delivery process. She needs to be recognized for her efforts as Shawana made this a seamless process. read more

I love Home Depot!! With that being said, I am heartbroken to write my negative review, however; I feel that I must. My bride and I have purchased my items from Home Depot, and have been very pleased with their service and usability. I bought an Echo String trimmer several years ago and love it!!! I have NEVER had an issue with it at all!! I needed more lawn equipment so I went back to The Home Depot. I bought a self propelled Honda and love love it. I then bought an Echo 225 with attachments, it is sweet. I felt I needed a super string trimmer so I bought the BIGGEST one they had. Here is where the trouble brings. I gassed it up with premium gas and synthetic oil, primed it, pulled it about 3 times, it came alive!! Sounded awesome!! Wide open, it hummed like it wanted to work!!! I was so proud!! I took it to work, she cut everything effortlessly. I came to light grass and tried to feather the trigger and it bogged. I took it back to HD, still under warranty, maybe 3 months in. I paid them $18.00 for them to send it off. It came back 9 weeks later with a bill of almost $80.00. Stale gas and a dirty filter. It is worse now than before. I'm done!! read more

We purchased home appliances. We were NOT told all appliance sale were final nor was it in writing on my paperwork. Imagine my surprise when I wanted to exchange an over the oven microwave to a simple wall microwave. Home Depo does not back ANY of the appliances they sell. I just cut up my card. Price shopping for new appliance and found Ronald in appliances so personable and knowledge. He helped me and it did not matter to him that I was price shopping. By the end of the day Home Depot's prices were the best in town, beating the Home Improvement giant and a national retailer/department store. Even though Home Depot will not install/connect one of the appliances their prices were still lower and they did not charge for delivery or hauling the old appliances away. I highly suggest considering Home Depot for your next improvement or home repair. read more

I love some of the prices here. We walked around for 55 minutes and not a single person that worked there said hey or offered to help us. The cashier's were just talking to each other and ignoring the customers and wouldn't help us when we needed help on the self checkout. We never found the one thing we went in there looking for. My husband and I went into the Home Depot in Florence to buy paint for a guest bedroom that we were remodeling. We thought that while we were there, we would check out the carpeting as the room needed new carpeting as well. I originally was going to go with a local business but figured we would see what Home Depot had to offer. After speaking to Kelly, we found some thing that we liked and I explained that the carpeting would need to be installed prior to October 20 which was three weeks away. She assured me that it would be no problem and that the installers usually install within two weeks time. I asked her repeatedly if she was absolutely sure because I had company coming from out of state and I did not want to order the carpeting unless it would be done before my company game. Again, she assured me that it would be no problem. When the installer called me to set a date, he gave me a date of November 9. Needless to say I argued this out with him and he said that there was no way that they ever install anything quicker than 4 to 5 weeks. I called Home Depot back and finally was able to speak to a manager who basically told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that the sales girl had done no wrong. I beg to differ, she told me what I wanted to hear just to get the sale. I will never, ever purchase anything of this magnitude from this Home Depot again. read more

If I could rate this Home Depot no stars I would. My Fiancé and I was doing a garden project at our new home. We went to this location to buy plants and pine straw. We asked for six bushels of straw and the workers in this area refused to assist. Instead they told us to climb on the back of a trailer in the back of the store and get it ourselves. We demanded to see the manager at this point, the manager showed up very defensive and tried to defend his employees. We were pretty taken back by this after spending over $ 200 dollars in this store you would think they would've cared more than what they did. Service is very poor at this location....save your time and money and go to Lowe's. read more
