I am a pro member due to my house flooding and a rebuild and living in construction my whole life but I have never been as disappointed in a store as I have been CONTINUOUSLY at this Home Depot location. Almost nobody is ever available to help. One day the loader took 2 hours to come up and help me. I waited with my pickup for 2 hours at the front and almost every time I ask for a manager I'm greeting by a kid saying they can't find a manager or they need help. Honestly awful service and the one manager that "helped" was to cowardly to come up and actually help by saying no to my face but instead had a kid say "my manager said no" as if that's enough of an answer after waiting for help. I was always a never shop at Lowes kind of person but after being in Jonesboro NEVER shop at Home Depot- go to Lowe's- it's worth it to deal with competent and KIND people. read more

Less than a year ago I bought a set of drill bits and they are junk. I was trying to drill through a nail in a piece of wood and 2 bits busted. Another problem I have with home depot is, my now ex wife had opened a account in my name without my knowledge or permission. We were trying to purchase Ryobi batteries with getting a tool free, you were out of the impacts, so a man named Josh took us to SO-CALLED service desk, a person named Amanda, immediately started her rude behavior, she did not want to wait on us, sent us to the next person. She began the process, then ask how we wanted to pay, I said cash, we pay CASH for everything, it would not accept cash, so she asked Ms. smart mouth, 'Oh absolutely not, has to be credit or debit, which is fine but her attitude almost made me put back my $493.98 worth of merchandise. I do not own credit cards, I do not use my debit card, but have HARD EARNED CASH. So we changed the free tool for something else, went thru a girl named Bella's line, she was so nice, paid CASH & left. If this Amanda is going to continue to work at the Customer Service Desk, then maybe it would be a good idea to TEACH her HOW DO HER JOB RESPECTFULLY. I tried to call the Jonesboro, Arkansas store on our way home, first it rang & rang, when someone finally answered, I ask for the MANAGER, was put on hold for almost 15 minutes, so I hung up, this is crazy. Also, I counted 8 people standing around talking to each other, doing nothing, no one ever asked if we needed help. Then thankfully, Josh walked up & said he noticed us & wanted to help. The way Home Depot treat the elderly is so wrong, I may not be back. I expect some sort of answer about this, since your Jonesboro store manager is too busy to talk to a mad customer! They have rescheduled three different times for a simple ice maker installation. The first time they told my landlord they came by and I told them to come another day which isn't true. The second time I had to schedule another after I got out of class, to which they blew up my phone during and said no one was at the house. They failed to inform their men what time I actually would be at my house and made him waste his time along with my own. Now this time they decided to call my landlord and choose to come next week instead of the day I took off completely from work for them to come. This is absolutely unacceptable and if I wasn't a renter and the fridge was through them I wouldn't have called them back after the first time they didn't show up read more

I kind of secretly like coming here for projects because I always end up buying more than I intended but in a good way - the home and yard improvements are fun! The employees I've encountered have been stellar-from plant advice, to helping lift and find items without being asked. The man bringing back the carts has went out of his way to check the safety of the carts when we've came up before, super friendly and caring. And a lot of the prices are better than Lowe's. Also the website count on items in stock is usually spot on. read more

I went to Home Depot to buy some 2 x 4 x 12 but when I got to the cashier they scanned for $16.88 a piece. I told her that wasn't right and she looked at the sticker on the 2 x 4 x 12 & they had the stickers for the 4 x 4 x 12 on them. I went back today and they still haven't changed anything to make it right. Home Depot is charging 4x4x12 prices for 2x4x12's so please check the sticker on the end of the boards. Don't be scammed by Home Depot. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. But, Yelp requires a star. I went to home depot to get a $10.00 door knob. I couldn't see the knob that I was looking for. And after asking for help twice, I never got any help. I was there for 30 minutes and never got any help. With 4 ruptured discs and my back hurting from standing there. I had to settle for a door knob that was more then I could afford. read more

I tried to exchange 14 tiles that I clearly bought here for 15 more in the same price range because they stopped having the pattern I needed. I did not have the receipt nor the card my wife bought these with. They did not give me any help. Whatsoever. I will be out of country next week and these people ruined my trip with their crappy service. I have come home and sold all of my Home Depot stock as well and they are off my list forever. read more

I went to the home depot location on Parker Rd in Jonesboro AR to buy my wife a dish washer for Christmas. I picked out a 3 rack tall tub Whirlpool. I specified the one without the towel bar, to the worker. While the worker was placing the order, I asked if the one he was ordering was the one I asked for. He said it should be thats whats on the tag. I had him deliver it to my parents business to hide it from my wife, as it was her Christmas present. I also purchased the adapter kit and power cord for an additional $40-$50. It was delivered on 12/15/2023. On 12/25/2023 I picked it up from my parents and immediately saw that it was not a Whirlpool, instead it was a Samsung. I asked my dad if there were more packages because I ordered the additional parts. He told me the dishwasher was the only thing that was delivered. On 12/26/2023 I drove approximately 50 miles back to Home Depot with the dishwasher. I took it in the store and explained the order they placed for me was wrong. The woman at the service desk told me that I should have called the number on my receipt because they don't take appliances back in store. She said she would talk to the store manager for me. She returned after several minutes and told me they would take it back this time and also refund me for the parts kits that were never delivered even though i did not have proof. Additionally they would have to charge me a 10% restocking fee (approximately $90). She then walked off, I was assuming to talk to the manager again. I stood at the desk for several more minutes. I began telling a friend that was in the store what happened. A lady from appliances over heard and said she could probably help me better than the service desk. I followed her to the appliance section where she ran into an issue and waved for a coworker for assistance. That coworker was the woman from the service desk, that apparently left me standing there when I thought she was with the manager again. She proceeded to tell the girl that the manager already worked out a deal and had it ready at the service desk. I told her I was not happy with paying a 10% restock fee. She told me she had never heard of a restock fee because all they do is sit the item out in the middle of the floor at a discounted price. She then called the number on the receipt for me and explained the situation, and they told her there was nothing they would do because I did not notify them within 2 days of it being delivered. Needless to say I am stuck with a dishwasher that I did not want because they messed up and wanted to charge me $90 for their mistake. Way to go HomeDepot for not only having terrible customer service but for also employing lazy employees that just leave people standing there knowing you weren't coming back. At least now I know to go to Lowes. read more

The word"Thank you" seems to small for the service that we received at this store. The manager Dustin dealt with a nervous mom whose son is far from home by making everything easy for us to order him a fridge and a microwave. I will always remember the kindness that was shown and as the other reviewer, this will be our "second home" when we are in Arkansas. Josh's Mom - you guys are the best! read more
