I bought a dishwasher and they delivered the wrong one, after about 10 different phone calls I had to make finally got everything straighted out and they realized they made a mistaketo be told I will need to wait over a week again to get the right one. I understand mistakes happen but there was no apology or anything for all the inconvenience and wasted time on my part. Not to mention a dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen for 2 weeks. Better customer service to fix the issue would have been appreciated. read more

The Home Depot crew this evening was worth giving a shout out here in addition to the review I left on the survey. All employees we came in contact with were very pleasant and helpful, including the two older gentlemen who assisted us with heavy topsoil bags which they got down from a skid and into our car. read more

So far I've had nothing but a pleasant experience with this location. Using the app makes it really easy to find things in the store and so far everything I have needed has been in stock. Look forward to taking the kiddos to the workshops on the weekends. read more

As Sophia would say, picture it... I walked in tonight, a rainy, cold Saturday, a bit of a pink-haired scruffball because I've been restoring my little historic house. I walked in with my rainbow-collared dog because Home Depot is supposed to be dog friendly. It's dead in there, as you might imagine. I walked over to customer service to return a set of $5.99 small rollers that were the wrong size small rollers that I had bought several months back. Again, I'm restoring my house so I literally have dozens of receipts from HD. This one, I lost. NBD, I'll get a store credit because I spend thousands here. Not so fast! "Do you have the credit card you used?" he asks dubiously. Why yes, it must be one of two - both of which I have on me. Lo and behold - I *did* in fact purchase these $6 things I am now returning. "If you keep returning without a receipt, it won't be refunded" (paraphrased). But, but, but...what about the credit card record? Over to the paint area I go. "You know there aren't supposed to be dogs in here. Only service animals." "Oh! I had always known HD as as being dog friendly." "Yeah, that's what everybody thinks, but no. We've had problems with them [defecating]." "I had no idea..." "And you know, thank goodness I don't have allergies." [Needle scratching across the record]....HOLD UP. My employer trains me in ADA, does yours? I mention the fact that allergies have nothing to do with this, because service dogs ARE STILL DOGS, with all the allergens that go with them. If they have a policy against dogs, fine. But do not start with your erroneous, passive aggressive reasonings. All this to say - if I was treated this way, I *cannot* imagine how they might treat other people at this place. ***Also, this wasn't the only incident. I was told months ago by someone in paint that, "If your husband......" Just no. This may be a small town, but damn! read more

I went to Home Depot to get a few keys cut. The person that helped me was very short and rude. Ok got the keys and the person checking me out had the same attitude. It's not like you had a choice they only have like one check out and I refuse to do self check outs because I don't work there. read more

Nice plants, flowers etc., good on the products, but as far as safety with Covid 19 a little disturbing. Entering store all is well, social distancing markers etc. in place, carts are sanitized. When checking out different story. No masks worn by checkout persons, who are exposed to everybody leaving, and when I was checking out another employee{ from checkout on other side of aisle) came over to talk to the person checking me out, like practically in my face. I had to back away. Then when exiting had to stop by the "gate keeper" and show/give receipt to her so she could count items to make sure I wasn't adding anything to my cart on the way to the gate. Checkouts are right at the exit to building within the "gate keepers" sight, impossible to add any items on the way out. Way in good, way out BS. read more

Overall, very disappointing experience. They were out of stock on a common color of stain, unless I wanted to purchase a gallon of it. But the biggest issue was with the staff, specifically at the paint counter. The gentleman was extremely rude, very direct and just not pleasant to be around or try an order paint from. Further, I am very disappointed with the lack of concern HD has for customers and staff in not mandating their employees to wear masks or exercise social distancing. Will be skipping HD from now on. read more

Not a bad place to shop. More expensive than Menards, but that's because Menards sells mostly items that tend to fall apart, break, or just stop working altogether. Staff know their stuff and most are at least willing to help you without treating you like a drag on their time. This is particularly important to me, so I must give them credit where it's due. That's not to say there isn't plenty of room for improvement, but they do well enough. I can't complain...especially considering the lousy alternatives around here. read more

I've shopped the Menards, Lowes, and Lumber Liquidators.... this store has them all beat. Seriously, if you need plumbing advice they have an Certified Expert Plumber onsite during the day. Need help with flooring, substantially Knowledgeable flooring experts are on site as well. The garden center is impressive during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.... and again, knowledgeable employees onsite to assist with anything from Plants to Patios. It's apparent this Company takes pride in their Employees, even though some may not realize it. I enjoy the shopping experience at Home Depot, more than ALL the others. I find what I want and can be out of the store quickly if needed. Unlike the Menards Store, The Home Depot stands behind the products they carry. After my LAST visit to Menards to return a new power tool that broke after the first use, the store manager only agreed to replace it and refused to refund the purchase.... the replacement broke after the first use again. Home Depot, on the other hand, has given me In-Store credit when the warranty issue was in question, allowing me to purchase a better tool if I desired.... THAT IS Customer Service!!! read more
