Great customer service. Noticed I had a headlight out so I stopped at the O'Reilly's in Sheboygan to purchase a new one. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to install the headlight. After some time and several employees, the headlight was replaced. This saved me the hassle of attempting this project myself. I'll continue to use this O'Reilly's store for all my auto needs. read more

Your employees in the Sheboygan O'Reilly are less than representative of your company. Your store smells like smoke every time I go in- about 4 or 5 times. Relating to an experience on 4/22/2020- There is one guy (i don't know his name) that wears coke bottle glasses was upset because i told him that i had a battery that needed to be replaced. It was only 1.5 years old. It died in my truck (1993 GMC K2500). When i originally took it in (a week earlier), the battery tested good, although I they had to charge it. So, i took it home, put it back in my truck. I tested my alternator and starter. both were good, so i thought that maybe i left something on (checked the jockey box light switch to make sure it was clear, etc.). i also checked for a battery drain when the key is off- there was none. so, i drove it around for a few days. I noticed that the truck would start well on the first couple of days, but then, on the third morning, it started slowly, but fired up the truck. later that day, after work, i needed a jump start. the truck would not start again. Dead battery. So, i charged it again, and swapped out the battery out of my 1999 gmc suburban with my 1993 gmc k2500- has the same exact battery. after a few days, the 1.5 year old battery from o'reilly was dead in my suburban, but the old one in the truck was still going strong. after i jump started my suburban, i went to the store and told them what was happening. they explained to me that the battery needed to test bad for it to be replaced. i told him that it was fine to test it, again, if he wanted to, so he went in to get the tools to remove the battery. for some reason, he came back outside mad about something and said that he'll just replace it. i was ok about it and went inside with him. then, he told me he was going to help these other people that were in the store. i thought, ok, maybe he's just being considerate to them. yah, ok. Then, he helped another person who just walked in instead of me. so, i walked over to the batteries, and got my own battery and placed it on the counter. by the way, i took out the old, defective battery out of my own car in their parking lot, because he didn't want to. then, the gal at the other register asked him if he was going to help me or if she should, and he ignored her. now, i say ignore, but he kept saying one-liners to me like, "i'm only going to replace that battery this one time," and "we shouldn't even replace this thing," and "i'm going to help these people first," and there were a couple other one-liner comments he made that i couldn't quite hear. now, i like o'reilly. i have done a lot of business with them in another state- several thousands of dollars. i like their products. but, while i'm here in wisconsin, i'll be shopping at an autozone close by. i've been there since i had this experience at o'reilly, and the manager is pretty knowledgeable and very cool. none of her employees smoke in the back room and are very helpful as opposed to the o'reilly guy. i'm pretty much done with this store. read more
