So let me get this straight, you're able to communicate to me about a bad air filter that needs changing, but some how could not communicate to me about a change in engine oil??? C'mon now, get real. I, myself, would not have known if I did not take a look at the service write up after the job was completed. Schroeder's has a coffee house, men's and women's clothing, a yarn shop, bookstore, a toy store, souvenirs and all sorts of other merchandise. I bought a few books and a pair of moccasin slippers. My friends bought t-shirts and a puzzle. The people working the store were helpful, friendly and truly passionate about Schroeder's history. This is a store that has managed to stay true to its heritage, but stay relevant. If you're in the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area, Schroeder's Department Store is a must stop kind of place. I love Lotza Motzas pizzas and they were over 8 bucks. At my local store they are 7. At another store they are 5 each. Other stuff was over expensive than my local store. What they have on sale tho is awesome. They had a bag of potatoes for 1.00. Stores is very clean. Great location. Clerks at the check out were nice and kind. What I don't like is they can't find people who want to work so only 3 check outs were open and all self check out. So spend a hour looking for your things, then u have to spend 15 minutes in like to check out or do u'r own check u out which can be an issue if u can't get things to scan and so on. I picked up my puppy from petsmart last week and he just was not acting right. I thought he was…read morejust worn out, but when we got home, I noticed that he could not open his eyes. My father is a doctor so he came over and it turns out he had a horrible chemical conjunctivitis. Vet visit and $200 later I was told the same. I called Petsmart. They claim that absolutely nothing happened and they did not notice anything at all. Won't accept any sort of responsibility. If they didn't notice anything then it's straight up negligence.
