This my main Home Depot that I have used for the last few yrs. I get everything for my home DIY and I have used their hire services. Plenty of parking, customer service could be better. Some of the employees are working in areas with no training. I don't blame the employee, Home Depot just needs to cross train employees so the customer has a better shopping experience. They do have sales thru out the yr, some are not advertised. I purchase all my flowers and garden supplies from them all year long. No worries about stock running out, you can order and have items delivered to your house free of charge on most items. Make sure you ask for the military discount upon check out. read more

Worst store ever! All employees were in a meeting while store was open to the public!!! Wife finally found 1 employee that didn't even know that they sold shower door seals and he didn't know where to even look. Wife ended up finding it before he could and it wasn't even the right size. I went to pickup online Oder . They were so rude . First I got snapped by finger to go to the next person available. Then that individual was irritated by my presence. I was bothering her by being there . She had to get another apron person to help her . She could not find my order and that made her mad and irritated at me. Well then when they found my order which was a freezer she thru it into the isle on the cart and walked away. I asked for assistance and then Glen said you can just return it . He wanted to cancel my purchase .he had no clue as the lack of customer service I just received. They as employees just bullied me thru the whole process and made me feel like I was the problem. we recently went to Home Depot to order new kitchen counters. We took drawings we took a picture of the kitchen. We explained everything we wanted. They worked up a bid for us. We paid it. that We had to pay the full price in cash to get the discounted countertops and then it took them two or three weeks to send someone out to actually do the measurements and then after they did the measurements, a couple weeks later we get a call from Home Depot there's a change order for $2000 more they come up with an extra 26 ft.² of countertop which there's no way that could've happened so we're demanding our money back and we will never go to Home Depot again for any kind of project . read more

The place is incredibly disorganized. I don't really blame the employees. Clearly they haven't been trained. They seem to have no idea how to schedule installations. I was given three different variations on how the garage door installation process worked all of which have been unsuccessful so far. I had to buy a chamberlain instead of a genie cause they couldn't figure out how to schedule an install for a genie. Three weeks after my purchase the installation company hasn't called me back. I've called him three times. They still haven't called me back. They don't know if they have my garage door opener or not. read more

There is a man in the electrical section at Home Depot in Lexington named Ted that answered all of my questions and could recite code requirements. Ted went above and beyond what would be expected of and associate and actually suggested some options that saved me money. It is refreshing to find someone that actually knows what they are doing at their job instead of the usual "I'll have to get somebody" associate. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HERE!!!!! We've recently been upgrading our appliances. We began with a washer and dryer from here, which immediately after installation flooded our laundry room. Customer service was no help, and I eventually fixed it myself. Ordered a fridge back in January which was finally delivered in March, only for the Home Depot workers to DROP THE NEW FRIDGE IN OUR DRIVEWAY BEFORE IT EVEN MADE IT OFF THE TRUCK. We heard nothing from Home Depot about getting a refund or replacement, even though the workers told us they would contact us within 24 hours. Today (2 weeks later) I called them and they are covering their mistake saying we refused delivery. An absolute scam, NEVER SHOP HERE. The store is well layed out and easy to navigate and if I can't find something they have friendly staff who will gladly help out. I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a refrigerator which HD scheduled for Saturday on Memorial Day Weekend, 2019. I made special arrangements (read time off work) to be home from 11-3. About 10:45, I received a phone call from a delivery man that he was on his way. Then he didn't show up! When I tried calling, it was HOURS before he answered then said that I wasn't home and refused to deliver when I reached him. He hung up and my call back reached SPANISH voicemail! Customer service refused to help and lied about the delivery company being open Sunday morning! Same lie about Monday. A district manager, named Aisha, called me Monday and DEMANDED that I wait until Tuesday. She was so rude that she needs to be fired and given a broom to ride home on! This was after a customer service manager named Demise Brown called me Sunday then failed to keep her promise to follow-up on Sunday. I wasted my HOLIDAY weekend dealing with the HD fools and didn't get my refrigerator until TUESDAY afternoon! From now on, I am shopping at Lowe's!!!!! read more

We just recently bought a house comma so naturally we have been going to a great number of Home Improvement stores. This has been by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. To the point where the lady that was working customer service was so rude and so snooty that we almost just walked out. I have never been treated like this before, whenever she said a smart remarks and my fiance that was the last straw and I had to verbally tell her to stop being so rude and just to do her job. I will never set foot in another Home Depot. I can tell you from experience that Lowe's is right down the street and you would have a much better customer service there to the fact they have even bend over backwards to try to help me. Update: Management has reached out to me to help handle my issues. I was impressed by how much they were attentive to my needs. I will up the rating from 1 to 3 stars just because they have tried hard to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Home Depot anytime soon. read more

¡Bathroom review! Home Depot - Lexington, SC Although Home Depot is known as the superior home improvement store it doesn't inspire ideas of grand or cleanly restrooms. After my experience today I am reminded to never assume anything! First impressions are always strong, especially with features like dark tan tiling and black stall panels. These features alongside the open layout give a certain air of class and elegance. Once in the stall the ambience continues. The toilets sit fairly low to the ground but not uncomfortably low. The temperature hovers comfortably at around 70-72°, perfect for relieving yourself off even the most uncomfortable of poops. All of these features are immaculate, but the disappointment begins as soon as your poop ends. There is nearly no water pressure, requiring a minimum of two flushes to eliminate all debris. Continuing the disappointment is the water pressure of the sink. Only slightly more than a trickle it was nearly impossible to get all of the soap suds from my hands. A pleasant surprise before leaving was the strength of the hand dryer, but alas it was not enough to make up for the severely lacking functionality of the rest of the appliances. read more

Now I understand people making mistakes, but when you tell me I can return something an waste my gas to go get it and return it to be told no...that is unsatisfactory. i went there this morning to get a steel shelving unit for my pantry and saw one that i really liked and was told they did not have any more and I did ask the manager for that dept if I could take the floor model she told me no because they were expecting more in . well when doing home improvement projects you cant wait a week . What really peed me off was when another employee came up being nosy and the manager should have told her to get back to her dept . Now this woman just stared and said nothing . She was overweight and her hair was reddish blonde and sat on top of her head . I wanted to tell her to go back to her dept and wait on someone . I purchased a 17x12 pond liner yesterday for $120. I spent the past few days preparing the area for the liner and everything was ready. I got my liner home and got it set up. Very disappointing that the liner is full of holes. Now I have this huge hole in my yard and a pond liner that holds no water. I knew I should have gone to Lowe's for the products I wanted and needed. My "go to" rennovation place. Staff is friendly, helpful, courteous. Younger workers help me retrieve large items and load my truck. If I'm looking for an item they will either walk me to the item (not just say "aisle 43") or get help if they don't know. "Grey beard" guys are often encyclopedic in their specialty and helpful with suggestions. I love how my receipt is sent to my email address for easy retrieval if I need to exchange or return goods. read more

My husband and I are in the middle of remodeling. We ordered, on-line, a large vanity for one of the bathrooms and it was delivered to Home Depot. When the construction men opened the container for the vanity, in our home, it was discovered that three huge "x"s had been made, corner to corner, into the doors/side panel of the vanity. The finish had been applied, after the crossmarks had been made, with a magic marker. My husband contacted Home Depot, and let's say he was not happy when he talked with the first sales person. His call was transferred to another sales employee, a supervisor. My husband, by this time trying to be in a more calm tone of voice, explained what happened. She was polite, promised to look into the situation, but told us that this vanity "style" had been discontinued and we would have to find a substitute for what was purchased. She stated she would contact my husband with the results of what we should do about the vanity, plus e-mail her name and other information to him. We are still waiting. My husband and I had been saving our money for fifteen years to remodel the bathrooms and bedrooms, trying not to go into credit debt. This vanity cost over five hundred dolllars. My husband was standing in the middle of a drywall / sanding / painting mess, with two very competent remodeling workers, trying to figure out what to do, as they could go no further with the completion of the bathroom until Home Depot returned our call. After much discussion, (and NO return call, or e-mail, from the Home Depot supervisor), it was decided that the two men would paint/repair the vanity themselves. It looks GREAT! It looks better than the vanity that we ordered on-line. Thank you, Home Depot, for NOT calling us back to offer a refund, a relative substitute for our purchase, or explain what happened to cause this damage. (That we feel was intentionally done before shipping to Home Depot, based on the obvious attempt to cover the damage with varnish/stain). This caused a delay in completing the remodeling, as the construction men were obligated to other job assignments. More importantly, my husband and I will have to seriously consider EVER buying anything from Home Depot again. Also, the construction men were not impressed with the situation we had with Home Depot, so I imagine "word of mouth" from them, (and from us), to relatives, friends, and co-workers, etc., will lessen the amount of customers to this business. More importantly, it was not "only" the damage to an expensive a functional design fixture, but not calling a customer back to try to rectify the situation. This is bad public relations; it is bad customer relations, and it could make a bad financial future regarding Home Depot, if they continue to treat other customers in this manner. It appears we will be taking our remodeling business to Lowes in the future. read more

I received wonderful service from the Home Depot on Sunset Blvd, in Lexington, SC. The clerks from several departments and the cashier help me out. I am disabled and looked on line to make sure that that store had a particular steam mop that I needed, They had 1 model on display. Since it was a display model that had been there for quite some time, they did not feel they could sell it to me in good conscience. Since I needed it right away for my new housekeeper who would arrive at my house in 30 minutes, they jumped into action. One man took me to the register to pay for it , handed the order off to another worker. The second worker zipped of to the closest store that they could find with boxed steamers in stock. THEN THAT YOUNG MAN DID AS HE WAS ASKED AND ARRIVED AT MY HOME WITH A NEW STEAM MOP IN 35 MINUTES! Hooray. The day was saved and they really were as kind as any salespersons I have ever met. I wanted to go into the site where they said I could rate them 1-10, but could not find the info (my fault) to do so. I certainly hope you share this rating with the store.
