What a horrible place of business, I talked to 4 different people to get a runner cut. We are coming and we are coming, this was over 20 minutes. Then an associate came over just before I left and said he's with a customer he will be right with you. Well I got in the car and called and spoke to the assistant manager Jan and she did apologize but was on the rude side. I will never step foot in there again. Nothing like Home Depot in the East end. Service, politeness everything. I will take that extra mile to get the service I deserve as a paying customer. Your loss not mine. read more

I would like for you to take notice of one of your excellent employees. His name is Jonathan Upshaw. I can't express more about his knowledge as well as going totally out of his way to assist me with the installation of my starter strip for my Novik Stone Siding. First he looked at the strip and was honest enough to say he wasn't that versed with the installation in the product but asked me to look at U Tube with him for some advise. Well it didn't show what we were hoping. Then he said one more way to see if he could get in touch with someone that worked for the company but that person had moved on (I'm not sure if that is correct) however he was referred to another person by the name of Claude Dion. He called him and spent some time on the phone getting the information that we needed. He then took the time to make sure I understood the process. He was always patient and very willing to get the info what was needed. This employee needs t o be recognised as employee of the year, not just the month! Purchasing a home means lots of visits to The Home Depot. With so many home improvement stores out there, it ultimately comes down to service. This place is great! The employees know their stuff and are glad to help you out. We purchased $60 in light bulbs and the cashier asked us if we had coupons. Apparently the bulbs were energy efficient and had coupons online. We didnt have any but she pulls out a huge wad and applies them to our order. It saved us a ton of money. I'll come here any day simply because I trust the service and they have everything you need. read more

Made a mistake for being so trusting to a big name store like The Home Depot. Rent a tool there and was asked to sign and initials in several places on the rental agreement without any explanation. Being in a hurry and never aware I would be signing something other than the ordinaries. It turns out that I have accepted the optional Damage Protection that cost me an extra 10% of the rental fee. And this was all done without any attempt to make aware of such "Optional" charge by the store personnel. So you be warned and make sure that you read all the fine print before signing anything even you think this kind of shady practice would not happen in a big name store. Not to mention the staff there was rude and unhelpful. read more

I had two items to pick up. Walked in and was greeted with a friendly hello. Then I found someone in the electrical section to help me( that's always a bonus) , then asked him where I can find a ladder and they actually had the one I wanted in stock and at a lower price than I thought (another bonus). I was having trouble fitting it into my cart, another store associate came by and helped me put it In my cart. Wow! Must be my lucky day. :) Went to pay and the store associate was super friendly and very pleasant. In and out of there in less than 10 minutes, and got everything I went for ,plus a beautiful Easter Lily for $4.99. Bam!! read more

NEVER EVER RENT TOOLS FROM HOME DEPOT. I recently rented a floor nailer, a drom sander and a floor buffer. Each time I was there, I saw customers come in with a non-working tool. My floor sander must weighed 300 pounds. I realized that it wasn't working right but couldn't carry ut to return it. I had to sand my floors with it. What a mistake. After the hell I went thru-hiring movers to move my stuff, renting storage- sanding 3 times, painting & buffing 3 times, my family displaced, the drum sander damaged my floors. It was impossible to see what it was doing. I only knew that a few inches, not the full 8 inches was being sanded. I couldn't see that there were ridges. Bottom line: they don't maintain the equipment. Don't rent from them. read more

Worst customer service ever ! I looked for an employee to ask a simple question couldn't find anyone got so frustrated I called the store from paint desk was on hold for 15 min so I gave up just as I walked away to take my business elsewhere 2 employees appeared ignored both me and the phone I highly suggest not going to this store as a customer u are apparently a bother to the staff ! read more
