Returned an item the other day and didn't have my receipt. Was told they had a 'new policy' and it would be a challenge. That was the understatement of the year. What ensued was both comical and tragic as it took three employees 15 minutes and 4 separate transactions to eventually get me a gift card. I also had to hand them my driver's license 3 times. Came to Home Depot this morning with my mom to return a safe that was delivered to our house damaged, sadly. When we arrived, my mom asked a young man named Lucas to help us move the safe from our trunk to a cart. Lucas was very helpful in getting the heavy safe onto the cart and did it with a smile on his face. He was VERY polite and respectful. When we walked in the store, we were helped by Niki and Tiffany at the customer service desk who also were such a big help and made the whole process of returning the safe so easy. I originally shopped at the Peachtree City store but after numerous bad experiences, I decided to take my business to the Newnan location. I am so glad I did!!! The staff at this location are mountains above there Peachtree City rivals. I decided to renovate the majority of my home and purchased all of my tile, toilets, tubs, lighting ect with this store. I worked with Mike from the Pro Desk for two days straight. He tirelessly walked around the store assisting me for 2 days and when we had finally finished he made sure my order was 100% correct. I could not have completed this project without Mike and his ideas and professionalism. This place has way more than I need especially living in an apartment. The prices are good and they always have what I need on hand. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. What I appreciate is whenever I ask an employee for help, rather than pointing me in the right direction, they usually walk me to the product I'm looking for. Love the home depot and have been going here every other day lately. We've been doing a lot of work at our house and this home depot is the closest one to us. They have everything we need for our home projects. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Home depot also does installation work. We've had our windows changed by them, granite counter top installed as well as tile flooring done by them as well thoughout the years. That one star is for the gal at the customer service counter. Negative stars for the dufass!(accent on the ass) at the front door. I went to the store yesterday morning to get three bins to finish a project in our basement before the sheet rockers arrive. After waiting for help getting them down from the top shelf, and not getting any, I left my name, number, and what they were and asked the gal to call me when they were taken down. She said ok. I went home and ordered them online to pick up on the store. They said they would be ready yesterday. I received a text at 7pm that they were ready for pickup at that time. The store closed an hour earlier. I went in before 9 am and pulled up to the front. I asked an employee of he was able to bring my order to my car, since there was no social distancing going on the day before. He asked the door dufass who replied, "No. She has to come in and sign for it." REALLY?!?!?! So I had to park and go inside where there were way too many people who don't understand the 6 foot rule. Dufass told me to step up to the desk, but stood right next to it. I asked him to please move further away. He rolled his eyes and walked away. The gal was patient with me and got the bins out for me. The other customer service gal turned around and said, "you still have to leave the store through the exit." thanks for that. So now I have to walk through the store, past numerous customers and employees. If they are allowed to stay open during this pandemic, they should have curbside pickup. I will not be back to this store ever. Probably not to any Home Depot. I'll stick to Lowe's, after the air is clear. read more

Unbelievable! At the Home Depot in Newnan, Ga. I ordered an appliance on the 10th of this month with a delivery date of the 28th today between 1:30-5:30pm. It is now 7:46pm and the store appliance supervisor just told me the delivery company closes at 7pm and he has no way to contact anyone and tomorrow for a delivery is out of the question and THEY the delivery company will reschedule my delivery. No Sir THEY will not, I want a full refund and THEY can bring it back to you! With that I have to drive back to the store for a full refund! Are you kidding me right now? I manage in customer service and this is by far the worse I e ever encountered. I was on hold for more than 20mins and no one in the store seemed to be of any assistance. This is the worse. We rescheduled our whole day waiting on this appliance and now you want us to trust that THEY will show up with a reschedule? I don't think so, and when I drive down to the store in the morning I'm forward praying ahead that things go smoothly. What a waste of a day. Lowe's here we come. read more

Been here at Home Depot 3 hours trying to get everything to remodel my bathroom. Had an associate helping but he took off, had to wait a hour for a shower and tub that was the wrong one, now just waited about a hour to get someone to help me load it. More complaints most definitely about the help. Update: I got an email from the store manager to contact him and I just spoke with him on the phone. Extremely nice and my next trip in next Friday will go a lot smoother since he told me who to ask for when I get there. Thanks Mr. Hart!! read more

Love going to this Home Depot. It's close to my home. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. The store is always very clean which is a plus for me. It is well laid out and I never usually have an issue finding what I'm looking for. As for prices, it just depends on what you're purchasing and sales they're running. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I came into Home Depot wearing a paper mask and gloves to protect myself from anyone who may be exposed. There are currently 6 confirmed cases at Piedmont Newnan Hospital and 1 death at Promenade of Newnan due to COVID-19. I am not risking my health or the health of others. 6 Home Depot employees and a handful of customers were joking to each other and bursted out laughing at me for wearing protection. I don't believe this dangerous outbreak is a laughing matter, and it is incredibly disrespectful to make fun of a customer. read more

"More Waiting, Less Doing" seems to be the norm with this location based on my experience and other reviews I've read. I waited patiently for 10mins while the employee at the windows desk was helping other customers. Once they were finished I stepped to the desk only to be told that this wasn't his department and that I was going to have to wait and he would notify the employee responsible for that department. After 20 more minutes went by I hunted down the original guy to let him know that no one has come to help us. He told me that the department head was supposed to be minding the desk but he didn't know where he was. He said he would try to contact him again. Another 10mins go by and no help. read more

I bought an appliance from here. I got the run around when my Maytag refrigerator broke down. They sent me to the 800 number who referred me to Maytag repair. Maytag repair came out and me sold me a 5 year warranty and said the refrigerator had to break down 3 times in one year before they replaced it. Home Depot would not give me my money back though it had been less then one year. It was also the same problem the computer model burnt out. read more

Above average Home Depot. Disappointed that they don't have a tool rental, that loses one star in my book. The other star comes from the limited tool selection. The Lowes across the street carries more advanced tools, and outside of a large selection of miter saws most of the larger tools are Ryobi. I've had mixed results from their lumber selection, but if you search long enough you'll find the straight boards that you need. Their garden section is pretty large, and for the most part well maintained. The rental trucks at this location are more available than the Peachtree City location (though that location has a tool rental). In terms of the customer service, everyone is always very nice. They do struggle to answer very specific questions, but their knowledge is better than a lot of other Home Depots (much higher than the downtown Atlanta locations where it seems no one knows anything). Overall this is the Home Depot to go to if you already know what you want. read more
