I purchased 2 battery terminals one had a sale sticker for 1.69 the other didn't. This cashier decided to take the sale sticker off. I looked at my receipt and asked why did you not ring this for this price? This old lady told me I switched stickers on it calling me a thief. I then told her to read the sticker it had the same part number and all on it. She was real rude then when I looked at my change she was to give me 13.56 she only gave me 8.56. I told the owners who didn't seem too concerned with her behavior she must be related so on the way out I called her a cunt and told her she looked like a hag. Made me feel a bit better since she didn't even apologize for her statement. This is a small business which I try to give my business too even though the prices are a lot higher than Home Depot or Lowe's or even ace hardware but if this happened at one of those store the lady would have been terminated. read more

Never again. I just moved to Newnan and wish someone told me this place was not worth it. I needed a 3 inch suction hose with quick disconnect and strainer for my Honda trash pump. Luckily they had all the pieces needed to assemble the complete suction hose. However, almost none of the pieces had a price tag, so i had to wait to get to the register to find out. Then the woman at the register had to call some guy on a phone (not in the building) to get a price for each. And the prices were outrageous. The stainless steel strainer was maked up 100% above the average internet price. And the guy on the phone didn't sound like he even wanted to sell the 3 inch rubber hose. I couldn't believe it. They charged me $12 per foot!!! This hose goes for $5 a foot online. The said those same parts are what they also use for their septic pumping buisness, as if that justified their hefty prices and lack of price tags. Unbelievable. I was in a bind and needed to get the project done, so couldn't wait a week or two for the internet purchase of the same thing for only $219 shipped from Colorado. And I think those folks at Tuckers knew I needed to get the project done. Cost me $359 and every part was from China. So forget about supporting this local business that sells overpriced Chinese products. Next time I'll just go to Lowes, and buy their crap from China. I hate Lowes. But at least they honestly mark the prices and willingly give 10% discount for veterans on their already low prices. Shame on Tuckers, really. read more

I finally went into this store that I was so curious about. I had driven by a number of times, but this morning, having been stood up for an early appointment, I indulged my inner boy to see if this could be a true hardware heaven. Jack pot! Man toy store find! They have so many more real and hard-to-find fasteners, metalware, threaded stock, nails, cabinetware, froes, grommets, spacers, and agricultural implements than Plain Vanilla Hardware Land! I got dizzy thinking about how I could use this, that, OOOOO! yes! And that! Projects began to sprout in my fevered brow. Even better, true hands-on experienced helpers are there to diligently listen to your plans and schemes and happily help you make the best choices. In fact, they can help you avoid pitfalls and expenses by coming up with better plans than you have dragged in the door! Now, I realize that it could be confusing that the store is named "Tucker", but it's in Newnan, but get over that. It's amazing what an adventure it is to browse through a hardware store that's like the ones that used to be in every town. read more
