I want to applaud Service Manager, Debbie, for her commitment to Home Depot's 2 star Yelp rating. Imagine if that kind of devotion could be redirected towards trying to increase her store's score. When a Service Manager can't see past the sticker on the paint can, that's a sign that someone shouldn't be in that role to begin with. Evidently, when it comes to paint, Home Depot has a "Buy at your own risk" policy. It breaks down like this. "If you buy paint from us, and we don't mix it right, you can't return it because there's a sticker on the can that says so." That is what actually happened tonight. This woman was going to stick to that that sticker like it was stuck to the can. She acted like I as the one who mixed the paint. I had to get really riled with her in order to get my money back. Here's what went down. I pulled out a paint swatch and realized that it was from Lowe's. The girl behind the counter said it would be okay because they could still match it. I said, "Are you sure?". She said yes so I gave her the green light to mix it up. Well, I got it home and after pouring some in the tray, you could see that it was way off. So I took it back. That was when I had this awesome customer service experience from an old pro like Debbie lol. Ultimately, I got my money back but it wasn't without having to verbally throw down over it and the audacious impunity she displayed over this issues certainly shouldn't be overlooked by anyone above her pay grade. Home Depot is one of two 'big box' home centers in Owasso, the other being that 'Blue store'.... I've been a Home Depot shopper since the doors opened, although I must confess I also shop at that 'other' store. Each has it's own merits, mainly being the products they carry. Some specific brands are unique to HD, and some to that 'other' store. In some cases, I'm looking at a particular brand, so I go where I can get that brand. A lot of time time I find myself at Home Depot because its just a skosh bit closer to home. The staff area always friendly and helpful, answering all the questions I can throw at them. As for inventory, if you can't find it here, you probably don't need it. Overall, I am quite happy parting with my money at Home Depot. read more

Photo taken Oct 18, 2018. Both bay doors to the garden center were closed when the signs stated they should be open. A few months ago, we were in the garden center and a pipe was running overhead busted. An alarm went off and the store was not evacuated. Not sure on what the the fire marshall has in place for that sort of incident but the FD was there when we left. read more

Would not recommend this Home Depot. We ordered a screen door and they sent someone out to measure. Never heard from Home Depot after that. They called us 2 weeks later and said the guy never came to measure, but he did. They sent him back out again and we didn't hear from them for another 2 weeks. So we canceled. The same day we ordered a 4K Samsung fridge from them and they said it would delivered in a week. They never showed up with the fridge. They called a couple days later past the delivery date and said it was on back order and would take 3 months or more. So we canceled that too. 5k of our money you lost and future business. read more

Purchased a refrigerator on June 1 2021 for our kitchen we were remodeling with a scheduled delivery mid August. We're contacted mid August and had to push back the delivery to the first week in September. Called to confirm the delivery for September 3 and was told they didn't have our refrigerator and would not have it until the end of September I told the warehouse employee that would not work and was told to contact the store in Owasso where we purchased i. My wife called the store and told the appliance manager " we have a problem and I want to know what we're going to do about it before I go postal". at that point she received a 20 minute lecture on showing the manager respect or she would get no help with the issue, he would not be talked to that way ect ect ect! I finally took the phone and started to receive the same lecture until I told him to shut up at which point he calmed down and started to listen to our problem. I was told the Home Depot never promised a delivery date for an appliance??? I told him we were promised they would have the refrigerator when we were ready for it and was basically called a liar. We didn't receive the phone call as promised and called the following day and requested a refund and went to Lowes and purchased a refrigerator from them. I've wondered why you can't find a parking space at Lowe's and you can't find a car at Home Depot but now I know! I'll never shop at Home Depot again, and I'm pretty sure the appliance manager at Owasso has mommy issue. read more

I don't know if it is nationwide policy, but the Owasso Oklahoma Home Depot would not hold an item for me till the next morning when I called them with 10 minutes left before they closed for the day. Every other Department store I have ever shopped at, included Lowes would at least hold an item until the next day. VERY POOR customer service Owasso Home Depot. read more

Don't wait your money on the "warranty" it's a lie. They will give you the run around and then try to get you to pay to fix what you spend the additional $80 for. $580 for an ac and warranty and over 100 all week I guess that shows how much they care about their customers. read more

Bought a multi battery and charger brand specoific Lithium. The battery went bad. It showed fully charged and maintaining. Wouldn't work. The Service desk told me to go to the Tool rental dept. I did. The battery was defective. Went back to the service desk. They would not help in any way. Told be to call Ryobi. All I wanted to do was to exchange the defective battery. Was it outside their return window. Yes it was. But they also could have kept me as a customer and just exchanged the battery. So with that experience. I am no longer a Home Depot customer. Sometimes the bigger picture outweighs the I can't and won't help you syndrome. Too bad for Home Depot. read more
