Not sure why this store has such low stars. Maybe it's because they don't have a lot of stuff in the store so you have to order the item online, wait for it to be shipped to the store, and then pick it up. We ordered a blower because ours died. Decided to pick it up in the store instead of having it delivered so that we could get it sooner. It turns out that it was on sale in the store but not online!! We were able to return the online order and buy it in the store. The associate was patient and helpful and we saved a lot of money! read more

I've always used this Home Depot, the staff are always helpful and friendly from returns to purchases. I recently had a problem with an online order for interior paint, what I got was the wrong color. I think it was from the Flagler Store, the young lady that helped me in the Pinecrest store was extremely pleasant and very helpful. She issued a refund over the phone and had someone pickup the incorrect order. I don't go to Flagler because no one speaks English and I can't speak Spanish. We bought an LG washing machine, replacing our old LG (10 year warranty). After a short few months it started to destroy our clothes. It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience. read more

Absolutely the second worst store in Dade County, no one speaks English, can't get help on the phone, no one answers the phone and when they do they can't speak English. Managers do not return calls. I bought a major appliance and was promised installation that i paid extra for, delivery came only to have two guys tell me they couldn't install it because the install kit wouldnt work. Problem being they wanted my old appliance and I said no so all the sudden they were mad and decided to not install my appliance and told me call the store for a refund on the install. Home Depot did not fulfill their part of the contract so contract is void. Customer service is lacking so bad here!!!! Went to return 1 item WITH MY ORIGINAL RECEIPT and a person called Pedro refused the return. I did not have the debit card I paid for the item with on hand so he said no debit card no return with a snappy nasty attitude. When I tried to ask why if I used my debit card with my pin he said no debit card no return again and I can complain all I want that nobody (while pointed to everyone in customer) was going to issue me a refund and continued on saying he wasn't going to go back and forth with me or explain further and in his way somewhat chewed my out of the register. We are 30+ year customers with a contractor account and I have never ever had someone at Homedepot make me feel like a peasant begging for money. I felt so attacked and humiliated with his gestures over a $95 return. I called corporate which switched me to the store manager who did the return but the damage has been done I personally will never step foot in Homedepot again! On September 28th my husband and I went to Home Depot at 13501 S Dixie in Pinecrest. We had an appointment with Eileen the kitchen designer. We decided to keep the original layout. We looked at different cabinet choices and decided to go with All wood cabinetry, soft close, drawers & doors. ( ours is the getto version of soft close) We also went with new countertops. Our countertop space is under 30 ft.². We had our measurements done by a site analysis. We paid $99 which is refunded if you decide to go with Home Depot. I October 27 we were paid in full $8700 plus. The kitchen cabinets came by the second week of November. How silly of me thinking I'll have a new kitchen to show off to my family at Thanksgiving. Not even close! Its January 5 of 2023. I have not been contacted by Eileen or aany supervisor from Homr Depot. I have sent emails with photos attached. The quality of these cabinets is incredibly cheap and the craftsmanship isn't even in the equation. We also ordered several large appliances that were delivered free of charge Yet unknown to us buried in the pages of our invoice was a $350 charge for the cabinets. QI asked about this in my email it was totally ignored. I was also told to expect scratches on my cabinets. that is why they have you buy touchup kits, it's interesting because when it was mentioned to me to buy touchup kits. I thought I really don't need it right now. I'd rather wait have fresher paint and thinking It would be five or six years at the minimum. We pd for them they never came. Also we pd for molding that was never delivered. If my pictures had been looked at . It should of been obvious. It was when the installers had to come back to redo the toe kick , we learned of the missing molding. The counter Top company has no sense of urgency, lack basic communication skills I hired Homr Depot. I should not have to chase after their subcontractor. They don't return phone calls and they show up without any prior notice. Additionally, because I decided to put in an Undermount sink when I showed it to them for measurements , unknown to me they walked out of my house with a $400 sink! Saturday morning I called Homr Depot frantic two supervisors had no idea about it being something they do. According to Eileen when an Undermount sink is being put in the counter people take your sink with them. Just another piece of information that would of been useful. It gets even better I had my cousin who is a builder offer to install my Undermount sink however, Eileen told me Homr Depot will not be responsible when he cracks it. Additionally, the counter top people who, by the way are charging me over $1500 would not polish the edge around the sink. They would leave it as a rough edge, and they do no type of connecting. ( " there not plumbers" A complete contradiction from Homr Depot's website where it states they would connect the piping back after installing the sink. I am being charged $250 for them to put in this Undermount sink. I watch my grandchildren during the week m,not having a sink or countertops has been a major inconvenient it has been to have no countertops and no sink for the last 2 1/2 months and still no communication whatsoever. Nobody has any sense of urgency or customer service. I have sent photos of my concerns on my cabinets and it's almost as if I'm being laughed at being frivolous. If I bought a new car and it had scratches and dings in it, trust me that Car will not be coming home with me think long and heeard before you even consider hiring Homr Depot to come in and do any type of work. Oh best for last the paint comes right off when you wipe them with damp cloth. read more

Buy at Home Depot online a cabinet for the screen to watch movies and TV, and a cabinet to store dishes and bowls, the two pieces of furniture were of a much lower quality than what they seemed in the photo and they arrived in boxes disassembled and broken, take photos and we tried to use them since in these times of pandemic everything takes so long to be shipped, or that is the excuse, because Amazon and Wayfair do not have that problem. Once we had it assembled there was no way to use them, the damages were very evident, we began the return process which was a nightmare, Home Depot avoids sending emails, because they do not want written evidence of the complaints, and they rejected my review of their products in their page three times, for that if they used an email. complaints are by phone numbers that no one answers or through a one-sided text that disappears after use. I had to go to the BBB to mediate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Home Depot products or services. read more

Most all aspects of the Home Depot shopping experience has become pretty pathetic compared to years' past. Customer service at an all time low. Difficult to find anyone if you need help. Chances are if you do, they are on their cell phones and have very little or no knowledge regarding the products in their respective departments. Shelves are poorly stocked and no one seems to take an interest in replacing items from overhead inventory. I can probably order and receive a product from Amazon in a more timely and efficient manner. Makes me wonder what a Home Depot managerial role might entail? read more

After spending a pretty penny on a renovation that was botched by a contractor, I decided that take matters into my own hands as this is not that hard of job. While looking at sanders and buffers, William greeted me and asked if I had any questions. He even asked for my name so he could properly address me. Not only did he answer my questions, he physically showed me how to use the tools I was buying. He wasn't trying to sell me like the other guy I had spoken to earlier but rather he explained to me how the stuff worked and would make life easier. I had to come buy an item only available for pick up at this location so upon entering I decided to pick up some extra items I needed as well. Being a homeowner requires multiple trips to the depot and luckily they're open late for last minute shopping. I found these solar lamps for $6 and decided to try out a few to see how they worked. I love them so much I am now purchasing more of them for the backyard. I also got some solar string lights to wrap around my trees. I never have to worry about the bulbs going out because the sun here is always abundant. The paint department can be tricky but if you're patient, an associate will attend you as soon as they can. Check out the oops paint section which has random batches of paint made accidentally therefore having a great discounted price. I picked up a gallon of some salmon glossy color and decided my hallway would be a great spot for it. read more

Bought a display refrigerator yesterday, we I formed them it would be picked up early. When to pick up fridge it wasn't ready, it was still on display. Shayley in customer service did help us, she found a man to wrap up the fridge and he was told to bring it out to our truck(that we rented by the hour). An hour later...we are still waiting Fridge was wrapped and left at customer service, he went on his break and didn't bring it out to where we were waiting. We had to go to customer service and wheel out the fridge ourselves. The Pinecrest Home Depot... the best home depot outside of the Atlanta headquarters... definitely rather go shop here rather than the 8th street one, or the flagler one... Friendly associates... usually in stock, if not they can order for Will call... Delivery charge is $79, whether it is for a single item or a pallet of items... seems steep, but when you think about it, ship as much as you want for the same flat rate, not bad.... a little patience and common polite courtesy can go a long way... get to know the managers... if you are frequent enough... Quite possibly the worst Home Depot. We made the mistaken of choosing Home Depot and the even bigger mistake of choosing this location to redo our kitchen cabinets with. Not only was part of our order forgotten to be placed, but upon delivery and installation many of our cabinets were damaged. After waiting almost two months for our cabinets, we now have to wait almost another month for our new cabinets and the way the managers have handled this has been atrocious. So if you make a purchase online you cannot choose your own delivery date. They insisted on a delivery of 12 /3 despite the fact that I told him there would be no one home it it would be a waste of time. So of course Thursday comes and goes and no one is home as I told them and I'm calling to reschedule delivery. Of course it would be too simple to be able to do this online so they require that you call the store. As of now I've been on hold for about 19 minutes. It is absolutely astonishing that a huge company at Home Depot can provide such poor service. I mean how hard would it be to have functionality in your website to schedule a delivery? Dear Home Depot, I was torn between ratings, as I would ideally have given you a 4.5. :) I love that this is one of your bigger stores, as this location is pretty massive. The service at here is just delightful. I have never encountered someone who didn't want to or couldn't help me, and everyone is extremely knowledgeable about their area. From plants to paint, one can always find anything and everything they need. Even the cashiers know what aisle everything is located at, and always have a smile on their faces when assisting with the checkout procedure. We were here last weekend picking up potting soil for some new plants we had planted, and chemicals to fumigate the yard from bugs. We found everything we needed within the first few minutes we were there, but then walked around the aisles of the store looking for ideas and DIY projects. I swear I could spend hours here. And is it weird that I LOVE the smell? I swear, Home Depot smells good to me. :) Thanks for coming through. I have a feeling we'll be completing some more home projects soon. I hate businesses that take advantage of situations and their customers. If this was a hurricane it may be considered gouging. I usually buy firewood at this HD. The package comes with approximately 6 - 8 logs wrapped in tight plastic. Today because it is cooler and, no doubt more demand, they opened the packages and sold 4 for the same price. Home Depots are all pretty much about the same, but for the general southern Dade area, this one takes it for me. Access is easy, right off US 1, and the parking lot is large enough so that it's usually not a madhouse. The store itself is larger than the previously-controversial Coconut Grove location, and also unlike that store, has an outside garden/nursery department where you can pick up the basics. I wouldn't look for anything too wild and crazy in the horticultural sense, but if you need soil, fertilizer, river rocks, pots, etc., it's a quick in-and-out. read more

I came here recently seeking advice on resurfacing some antique-finish patio furniture. My friend thought it was quite silly of me to stuff the chair into my car trunk and haul it in, but I wanted to make sure one of the associates could make an accurate assessment as to how to proceed on resurfacing, based on the material. I grabbed a shopping cart, loaded it in, and into the store I went! The first gentleman I saw in the paint department told me that my prognosis was grim. He advised paying a professional company to sandblast it and said he could readily offer their number. I thought that seemed a bit odd that he'd plug that company so quickly, as well as a bit pessimistic. I am no expert on this subject but I did not see why repainting would not solve the problem. He said it would ruin the detailing from the chair and advised against it. When I told him this set was a discarded gift from a friend and I really did not want to spend much to repair it, he offered to take it off my hands. It seemed somewhat suspicious, I wonder if that was his motivation all along, which is why he gave me such a grim prognosis. Nonetheless, I grabbed some spray paint and went over to the next aisle. At the next aisle, I met a younger associate, asked for his opinion, and he said there was no reason why I could not just do the work on my own, he did not think sandblasting was my only option and recommended a wire brush and a sandpaper sponge to get into the corners. He gave me the confidence to do it on my own and even showed me how to work the spray paint in the best manner by testing it on a small section of the chair. It looked pretty good, and I started feeling confident. Went to my parents' yard with my furniture in tow, spent 2 nauseating hours with the toxic fumes, mosquitoes and the 89 degree heat and ended up with pretty amazing results after using some elbow grease (literally, my arms and elbows still hurt 3 days later). My mom was stunned, she said it looked better than it ever did and she did not know I was so talented and handy (don't get any ideas, mom!). All I can say is that I am glad I ran into that second associate, or I might have given up on that furniture set. I guess your experience will be based on who you get to assist you. The store itself is pretty large and clean, parking is easy and the lot is large. Their gardening center is quite large and has a great variety of plants, usually along with helpful, knowledgeable employees that will advise on the best plants to get for your needs. I once saw Venus Fly Traps being sold here and have gotten some pretty interesting cacti, some of which apparently is somewhat rare. I prefer to go to this location rather than the one in North Miami, even if that location is much closer to me. read more

I honestly don't know how this store stays open. For being in the middle of pinecrest, I have experienced some of the worst (if any) customer service I've had in most places. Let me start by stating I have been in the customer service industry for over ten years, so I know firsthand what is bad and what isn't. Finding an associate here isn't (usually) a problem. Finding one that will actually help you out or knows anything remotely useful is a totally different story. My boyfriend and I stood in the lumber department yesterday for more than 20 minutes before even seeing anyone in an orange apron. We needed to get to some wood that was way too high and required someone to get it down, and we also needed it cut. When we finally saw two men transporting boxes on a forklift, they pretty much ignored the fact that we were even standing there. We asked for assistance moving/cutting wood- the man said he would need to ask someone else. After waiting another 20 minutes, I had to go ask someone in another department for help- she told me (rudely) that someone was already in the lumber department and could help me. I told her he had said he would go find help and never did, and she walked away to go find him. We waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF to have someone finally help us do what we needed to do- this was a trip that should have taken us fifteen minutes. On our way to the register, we asked a different associate if they carried an A/C adaptor for a power drill (power cord), the man had NO IDEA what an A/C adaptor even was. We arrived at 2pm, we finally checked out at 3:49pm. The only friendly person we encountered the whole time was the cashier. I hope that maybe Home Depot can educate its associates on proper customer service and how to not flat out ignore customers that clearly need assistance. As I stated earlier, this could have been a quick trip. It ended up throwing our entire day off, needlessly. What a shame! read more

This location has extremely friendly staff who are always asking if you need help finding something, which is nice. Most of the other Home Depot's I've been to in the past, you have the HUNT people down to find things and get information. I love their garden center, outdoor and kitchen areas. They have good prices and their employees are knowledgeable. They have a wide selection of pretty much everything I would need for do it yourself at home kind of projects. But the only problem I have is I can never get a sales associate in the area I need them in without having to walk clear across the very large store to find one. And then I usually have to wait about an average of 5 minutes for them to come and help me. I understand they have to look out for their labor cost and all but a customers time is valuable as well.
