Worse customer service around! I plan on driving a little farther and trying the store on 152. I shopped in 4 departments, needed help in all of them. Employees stand around and discuss their personal lives or video games and ignore the customers. Looking for Spackle I had to approach the guy twice. He was so annoyed that he had to walk away from his 3 other coworkers that he mumbled all the way down the aisle. In the hardware section, I stood and wrote this review for 10 minutes. Not one employee came down that aisle at all. I guess they are busy hanging out with their friends in other aisles!! This is ridiculous. read more

I purchased this item on Cyber monday and honestly wish I would have bought it with another vendor. I was sold a defective fridge which doesn't close properly. I have had 3 technicians come out and the problems persists (the doors fail to close and we are 15 days past its initial delivery). I am utterly disappointed with Home Depot's customer service and their inability to hire skilled, professional employees. I had a rather unpleasant experience that has left me shaken. I had two technicians come to my home and have never felt so concerned for my safety and disrespected in my own home. Home Depot contracts out their work for repairs (specifically XPO Logistics who chooses to hire employees who have no respect for women- referring to their clients as "mami" and decide to leave a job before its finished), then drafting fraudulent reports that they actually fixed the fridge. Repair men left my home after deeming fridge doors not shutting was a cosmetic issue not worthy of repair. I am extremely disappointed with this and wish that I never purchased this fridge. Currently, I have been on the phone for over 6 calls to get in contact with someone regarding my concerns of safety based on this interaction and yet I have been bounced around from agent to agent (I guess home depot doesn't care for the safety and care of their customers when it comes to allowing such individuals in their home). This is a main concern that they pawn off who is actually responsible for defective products- buyer beware Home Depot can state LG or even the delivery company that THEY HIRE can be responsible for your appliance being sold, delivered and installed as not working. This finger pointing game is exhausting, we sunk a sizeable amount into a large box sitting in our kitchen with zero assurance it will ever work, be addressed or fixed. You are not backed by Home Depot when you buy their products, beware as they bow out of culpability and claim only to be a middle man. Go to Lowe's or Best Buy. read more

Parking lot is huge and easy to maneuver. This is your usual Home Depot. Staff is friendly and like usual you get your deer in headlight employee who takes you over to a PRO that knows the whole store with their eyes closed. Did have a problem with the cashier. She rang everything up and then said it didn't look right to her so she started all over and we were there 10 extra minutes while she went through everything with a fine tooth comb. read more

Worst customer service ever, I had to return something without a receipt and the assistant manager "marshal" refused to so it. The customer service guy from corporate told him to try with the lisence to see if the system would let him do it but he refused to even try. Never going back to that store!!!! read more

As far as Home Depots go this one was pretty good. I can't give it the best but definitely very good. The place is HUGE and pretty organized. The staff is friendly but if you need someone from a different department that from the help that you found it may take a while. I guess that would be my biggest gripe. Other than that it's a pretty good place to shop for your home or possibly apartment needs. read more

This is the best Home Depot in Miami. It is always staffed adequately, I have never had to go a few steps without seeing an associate. They are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. From the paint department to the nursery department, I have always found the assistance needed. There are 2 other Home Depots, that are much larger and closer to my home, but I would rather drive to this location any day. It is incredible how much good customer service can make a difference. read more

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I went to the store last night around 7pm and all I needed to buy was a gallon of paint. I needed some help though finding the right shade of grey that would look nice in a room. I am the only customer in the paint department so I go to the counter to get some assistance from the two workers there. However the two workers (an African American woman and a white male who had a lot of acne. Couldn't get names) were talking about non work related topics. I stay in the counter patiently waiting until I noticed they were not going to address the customer. I say excuse me and the lady turns around makes eye contact and goes right back to taking to the guy ! Talk about HORRIBLE customer service. By this point I am pissed and I ask if I need to get a number to get service the woman leaves and says she's going to take a break which then later comes back and tells her co worker she didn't even clock out meaning she should have assisted me, the customer first. Anyways the guy tells me no I do not need a number so I ask him about they different colors and guess what ? He barely knows anything. So what did I get yesterday in Home Depot ? Rudeness, terrible customer service, uneducated workers, and a gallon of paint I hope is the right color I was looking for. This is my favorite Home Depot I've been to in Miami Dade. I can always find helpful employees and they have a great clearance lumber section. It's also easy to find some clearance items that are sold out most places on here. No complaints from me here. read more

I went yesterday 5/23 and the service was horrible they saw me and my wife struggling to bring down a shower door and a toilet and ignored us. Nobody ever offered to help and when we paid we asked the cashier if she could call for assistance to load the items in the truck and it took them over 30 minutes to have someone come and assist us. Went in looking for roach kill and the rep. was very patient and helpful; especially for a young guy. Also gave me good honest advice about weed killer. This customer service has been a trend lately at this particular Home Depot (at least in my experience). I hope it continues. read more

What a horrible experience in the carpet department. The first lady we spoke to was very nice, but it all went downhill from there. I purchased a carpet that would be installed within 72 hours according to HD. However, the installation people us-installations claimed HD made a mistake and didnt tell them it was a 72 hr carpet, so they would not install within the required time while we had tenants moving in to an apt with no carpet, the manager at us-installation not cooperative at all, didnt even make an attempt to help, we are considering litigation. read more

This is a terrible Home Depot. Every time I've gone to the garden shop, I deal with lazy employees who don't offer help and stand in the way chit chatting with other employees when you're trying to push your cart around. Today I asked for the cashier in the garden center to wrap the flower pots I was buying and she just put one inside the other (different shapes by the way) and double bagged them, not even double bagged, lined one bag with a balled up second bag. Needless to say... one of the pots were broken when I got home. Might I add that she also did not bag two other items that I purchased so I had to try to stick them in my purse. I guess she was too lazy to use both hands to do her job. The guy in front of me in line went to get a sku number for her...that's her freaking job, she sent him to fetch the price because either 1) the other employees were no where to be found or 2) she was just too lazy to do it herself. I don't understand why this Home Depot has all the people who can't physically or mentally get their hands dirty while they work, that's part of the job. Don't go here, you're better off driving to Coconut Grove, or further south...actually customer service at this Home Depot is so terrible, the one on 8th Street is better in comparison. No employee even asked if I needed help finding anything, and when I asked an employee to help me, he told me he was busy helping another customer. Terrible. If you are buying something off the shelf, this place is fine. If you are thinking about buying anything that you cannot walk out of the store with, stop. I am in the middle of a nightmare with kitchen cabinets that I purchased there. The salesperson was terrific, and I have no reason to blame her. However, the people who coordinate deliveries, installation, etc., leave a lot to be desired. No one seems to know what they are doing. Every person gives you a different answer. It took numerous phone calls just to get a delivery date and time after they said it was ready (weeks late). Then today, the delivery person for an entire set of kitchen cabinets scheduled for delivery today called and said they will not deliver to a third floor apartment, even though I fully disclosed it when I placed my order (it is clear on the face of the order) and I even paid extra for such delivery. Then I get passed to four different people at Home Depot (including the paint department!). Supposedly, they will deliver now. Who knows. The amount of time and aggravation spent is not worth it. And it's no bargain. I hear Lowe's is much, much better. Next time, I will drive out of my way to Lowe's. read more
