The entire interaction with the people doing the job felt odd and uncomfortable, so when they finished and I was provided with an invoice, I paid it immediately via Zelle. A month later, I received a call from a very rude woman named Sally, accusing me of not paying--again, a full month later. I strongly encourage you to do your homework and check with your bank before calling and accusing someone of nonpayment. I had already provided proof of payment on the day I paid and again on the day of the accusation. Not only was this embarrassing, but I will not be reaching out again for any services in the future.
