I have always went to Home Depot because of the great service.. I guess the USA Home Depot's and Mexican Home Depot's don't follow the same client care plan. It was like I did not existt , I was looking for a few things no one asked me if they could help me. In fact they butted in front of me to put an item in their stock. Never an excuse me. You sure can tell that they were not there for customer service , just a paycheck . I hope someone fRom Corporate Home Depot reads this. They need extensive customer training. It is a shame thAt Home Depot does not live up to its fine reputation in Mexico. I did not see any clerks smile at all. read more

Old and disabled. Purchased step stool (escalerita) - made of steel. It was in my wheelchair cart. After purchasing, zero assistance, resulting in serious injury. I was not aided in any way by store employees (I managed to put the stool in the wheelchair cart myself). I received zero - absolutely zero, assistance by any employee of the store and/or security. Only assistance came from other customers. One couple jumped out of their car within minutes after the shopping cart fell on top of me in the parking lot. For that I am most grateful. If a customer is in a wheelchair - and is forced to obtain a shopping cart, why would customer be in a wheelchair? Aside from the cart, before I understood I would receive no help from any employee and/or manager (whose name is hidden) regarding anything whatsoever. It was like pressing a robot button which only says one thing "I don't know" (or "no se", as I am able to ask in espanol). The store should shut down. Or labeled as "Need help? Go elsewhere!" read more

We needed to replace a bathroom light fixture and found some reasonably priced at Home Depot in Playa del Carmen however when we went to find the bulbs that would fit the fixture we could not find any. We waited for 10 minutes for the clerk to arrive only to tell us they did not sell the bulbs that fit (whole coversation was in Spanish so no language barrier). As we were about to leave the aisle to return the box, another customer overheard us and showed us where the light bulbs were that fit. Besides that, as soon as we walked in the store the paint section had a huge speaker set up for music and they were blaring the most explicit rap possible, every other word was the f word or n word. It didn't seem like they even knew it was offensive. Very poor training. I only rated this two stars because they do have a wide selection of items. Overall each trip there has been a disappointment read more

I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer combo on promotion at Home Depot for almost 30,000 pesos, but after only 4 months of use, the washer broke down. When a technician inspected it, they found it completely rusted inside, with the control board and other components severely damaged. To make matters worse, I discovered that the washer had been rebuilt with old parts and sold as if it were new. This is unacceptable and fraudulent. It's been 3 months since I reported the issue, and I still haven't received a solution. Of course, Home Depot refused to accept a return, leaving me with no quick options to resolve the issue. After spending 30,000 pesos, I still can't wash my clothes. The technical support and after-sales service have been terrible. I feel completely cheated. I do not recommend buying appliances from Home Depot, especially Maytag. I hope they resolve my case, but in the meantime, I want to warn other consumers about this situation. read more
